The tile walking up to office and door to the rooms, had big broken uneven tiles.My sister tripped on uneven tile and tried not to fall , but she did fall and even hit her head on the glass door entrance and had abrasions on her foot. The office worker came out to assist us, which was appreciated. The office worker said he would notify owner of tiles. Thank goodness my sister is ok( she is 73), and she was not seriously hurt and no broken bones. She could have been seriously hurt. The tiles are a huge hazard and should be repaired .

Such a cute little boutique hotel! Overlooking the cliffs in the beach. I love that It was one block walk to a little local beach. There was entertainment by the pool on Saturday. The pool was fun. The kids loved it. It’s so cute and decorated and the flowers are so pretty. We will definitely be back.!

This hotel and staff is absolutely amazing. We absolutely loved our stay, the views were amazing and my girls loved the heated salt water pool! They were working on the lower level deck so there was mild construction, however it did not affect the stay at all.

For the view alone, we'll be coming back! We love the totally chill neighborhood vibe without the tourist glitz. The roses surrounding the pool have clearly been loved for decades. Great attentive staff. Easy parking and gorgeous sunsets. Really quite fab! We got the 2 bdm suite to have a sitting room, which we will do again.

Comfortable and cozy. Rooms are small but had everything you need. Location is great! Staff at desk was very friendly. There was some construction our first day but they aren’t working on the weekends

Cute little place, rooms are very small but are good for 1 or 2 nights. Smaller pool, no hottub. A lot of the patio overlooking the ocean is closed due to a storm from 2019 and they haven’t fixed it due to cost apparently. But very limited patio seating area. Still a pretty view and very nice staff. Good friendly vibes. Beds were comfy.

We enjoyed our stay here especially watching the ocean from the patio. The lower patio was collapsing so could not enjoy the entire property as advertised. Staff were very helpful. Parking is limited but enough in the residential are as well.

We had ants on the countertops and by the sink in the kitchen and gnats flying around everywhere. There is a lot of fake plants that were just collecting dust, they should just remove them…. Looks as though they haven’t done a deep cleaning in awhile but beds were comfortable and didn’t bother complaining at the time we just adjusted

We had a 1 bdrm suite that smelled awful - damp and moldy. The extra room was nice, but the decor was OLD and needed upgrading and the AC didn’t cool the bedroom so it was never very comfortable. This place needs a remodel. Had we not been with friends, we probably would have left. Not worth $310.

This is a cute place on cliffs above the beach. The rooms are cute, very clean and comfortable. There is an absolutely beautiful garden in the center courtyard, with a heated pool beyond it, and a patio area with comfortable chairs.

Not all rooms have an ocean view at all, bottom floor room we were in did not. Rooms are small, especially the bathroom and can hear all outside noise and from other rooms. Fold out couch very uncomfortable. Doesn't look and isn't as nice as the pictures at all. Would not stay there again.

The room was cute, quaint and clean! The staff were so amazing and nice. They remembered to ask me about my events that were part of my trip. The room was a bit small and you could easily hear things in the next rooms but the atmosphere and people made up for it! AND should I mention it is right on the water with an amazing view!!!!

The stay was ok. It's definitely more of a motel vibe. The location and view from the property are wonderful. The room was clean. Recommend not getting a room on the first floor because you will hear everything in the rooms above. The biggest bummer resulting in an average review is that two other groups at the hotel were SO loud at night, running around and yelling way past quiet hours. There is staff on site 24/7 but they did nothing to help keep the space quiet for people trying to sleep. I get people are on vacation and want to have fun but I'd hope the staff would help keep it an enjoyable environment for all patrons, especially when its 1 AM.

I enjoyed my stay at the Inn and have three suggestions for management to consider for improvement. 1. The blow dryer is very noisy but does not effectively dry hair. 2. The shower drainage is quite slow. 3. The Wi-Fi network was inconsistent, slow, and unreliable during half of my stay.

We had a 2 bedroom unit and it was perfect for our family. Location, location! Terrace was a great spot to admire the ocean and sunsets. Great insulation- outside noise disappears once windows are closed. Pool is heated and had pool toys for the kids. No air conditioning in the bedrooms but plenty of fans. When hotel lot was full, it was easy to find free street parking. Would love to stay there again.

We had a great stay and wish I we could have extended it for one more night. I would have given 5 stars, but the shower drain was very slow. Other than that, everything was wonderful. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking to relax by the ocean!

Everything was great loved being right on the ocean. Our only issue was the bed was so hard it was like sleeping on a rock. We had stayed here before and never had this issue. My mother inlaw stayed at the same time we did and her bed wad confortable but ours was not. So we got very little sleep and was very sore our entire trip.

1. Their check-in time is 3pm, but our room wasn’t ready until 4:45pm. Totally unacceptable. I think this was a matter of poor management. 2. Parking is very limited. 3. Property is old and needs some updating. 4. Suite was very clean and suitable for our family of six.

I loved the view and the room. I only ever encountered one staff member. When I checked in the staff member was very rude told me to silence my phone then got mad my card was declined. I told him I need to accept charge with phone but did not get notification because he had me silence it. Then there was a wedding there and people were parking without parking pass when I mentioned it to him he said its first come first serve and when I asked why is there permits he told me to calm down.

The waves crashing over the rocks...a heated to 88 degrees pool...next to Lion cafe...walk to downtown... comfortable beds AND pullout couch...this hotel has everything we needed and we were so satisfied and loved OB! Short walk to cliffs and caves. It's was just perfect for us and WE WILL be back!

This is a quaint stay out of the main tourist drag of Ocean Beach. Come out one way and walk along the cliffs, and walk the other way to find plenty of cute indie restaurants and shops, all within a 10 minute drive of downtown San Diego. The staff are super friendly, the pool is good fun for kids and the views out over the ocean are incredible. You can also rent beach things (body boards, umbrellas, chairs) by the day to make your stay even better!

This inn is an off the beaten path gem. Quiet and very clean. The Pacific surf was washing onto the rocks right outside our windows lulling me to sleep. You do need a car. There is very little within walking distance so be sure to have a vehicle as depending on ride shares would be expensive and inconvenient. There is a pretty pool area and nice lounge space overlooking the water. No bar or restaurant.

Comfortable room, friendly & helpful staff, the Inn is right next to the ocean & we could hear the surf with the window open. There is a nice patio which we unfortunately didn’t get to use because of rain. Dining options are within walking distance, & a beachfront/cliffs business district with lots of shops & dining is very nearby. Definitely recommend!

The Inn was a wonderful place. Within walking distance of restaurants and the ocean trail. Very nice small place. Love having 2 bedrooms and a living room and a real coffee pot. Little Lion cafe next to the Inn was delicious but get there early.

This is an adorable little place. It felt like an apartment I could stay in for a long time. We stayed one night with a family of 6 and were very comfortable. Waking up to a view of the ocean was such a joy. It is also very conveniently located to Ocean Beach, Tide Pools, and restaurants.

Roses in the courtyard were beautiful and fragrant. It was so relaxing to sit on the patio overlooking the ocean and listen to the waves crashing on the rocks and cliffs. Room was clean, kitchen had pots, pans, dishes and utensils. Not many dining options nearby but downtown OB is only a 15 minute walk — very accessible. And the Inn is right next to Sunset Cliffs Park, which is beautiful and walkable. Will stay again.
