The staff was amazing. They got me checked in early and were supper helpful when I had to check back in when my train out of Amsterdam got canceled. Super awesome staff, great location, and a really great stay.

A great value hostel for the price point! The location is excellent. I felt safe going to and from the hostel. Since it is located in the center it does get a bit loud outside sometimes. Female only Room: - Curtains for every bunk for privacy. I think these were blackout curtains too. - Clean! - The rooms are quite small, so with my locker/drawer location, every time I rolled out my drawer it blocked the door and anyone coming in. - Pillow is very flat which isn't my preference. Washroom: - Washrooms and showers are individiual rooms separate from the bunk bed room. There was 3 washrooms and 2 shower rooms. - I do wish they had more hooks for the washroom, hair dryer in every shower room, and at least one more shower room per floor. Common space: - Generally clean. The stairwell did smell damp sometimes. - Stairwell is narrow, characteristic of Dutch buildings. There is a elevator however. - Wifi was working well but I had to go through the terms/acceptance page each day I came in.

The location was excellent, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. However, there were only two showers on the floor, so I had to plan my showers carefully to avoid busy times.
