This hotel was great. We booked the 2 bedroom suite with a kitchen and sitting area. The rooms each had a king size bed and private bathroom. One side was handicapped accessible with grab bars next to the tiolet, and a very spacious walk in/roll in shower. There was a closet as well as a dresser for storing clothing, etc. The room was located on the first floor, closer to the indoor pool. It was a little longer of a walk to the room than we anticipated, but not bad. The hotel has breakfast each morning stocked with eggs, breakfast meats, fresh fruit, yogurt, hot oatmeal with fixings, make your own waffles, cereal, bread products, plenty of juices, coffee, teas, soft drinks and more. They also have a social hour in the evening Monday-Wednesday. There are free laundry facilities on the first floor and a fully stocked pantry gor purchasing food, drinks, laundry detergent, extras. Theres a gym room on the first floor as well. Outside is beautiful, very quiet. Theres an outdoor sitting area with comfy seating and a fire place as well as tables and grills for grilling. This hotel is very reasonably priced. The staff are all absolutely wonderful. Theres free ample parking. They also have secure storage areas on the first floor if you need to store things.

Goods: Sustainability at its Best: It was heartwarming to see the hotel making eco-friendly efforts, like providing fixed containers for shampoos, lotions, and other toiletries, rather than using environment-unfriendly disposable bottles. Stayed there for a week with a family of five in one of their two bedroom suites. It was fantastic and we'd absolutely stay there again (and likely will!) Big plusses: 1) The breakfast is fantastic. Way better than I typically expect for a free breakfast - there was fresh fruit, eggs and a breakfast meat every morning and they kept things well stocked. 2) The pool and exercise rooms are a plus. A lot of extended stay places don't have these amenities. 3) The facility was in very good condition (as of Fall 2024). I think the only way this might not meet expectations is that the housekeeping wasn't quite as comprehensive as you might be used to. For example, they don't change your towels and sheets every day. That wasn't an issue for us and they likely would have done it more often if we weren't constantly in the room. But if you are a stickler for daily maid service, you may want to pick another hotel.

Eclipse stay 2 BR suite with pull out couch and 2 full baths. Sleeps 8 but would be hard pressed to watch tv comfortably in same room. There is room downstairs off public dining area that has large tv and a lot of comfortable chairs that works better. Public Dining area also has a few couches and large tv. Plenty of social areas outside (including shade) with at least 3 grills, gazebo, and a fireplace area. Wonderful amenities. Clean clean rooms. One room had desk. Dishware and pots and pans provided. Regular drip coffee maker with filters. Two burner cook top with toaster oven above refrigerator. Nice to have dishwasher. USB ports on alarm clocks. Trash cans need to be bigger in kitchen with extra bags needed. Enclosed pool. If pool important on certain day check cleaning schedule. It was closed Monday morning when we stayed but opened that night. Meijers store is 5 blocks north on same street.

Our room was nice and the breakfast was great with lots of options. There was a cleanliness problem throughout the hotel. The trash in the entrance was completely overflowing. There was a pack of cigarettes that sat at the bottom of the stairwell for 3 days (despite the front desk being notified). Trash/toilet paper sat in the hallway for multiple days. The staff was nice so I don’t know if they are understaffed and can’t keep up or what.

Below average stay due mainly to the dated nature of everything and cleanliness issues. The room overall and the couch (main part of the couch was lower than the chaise part which made lying down impossible) and bed (hard, uncomfortable mattress) were dated and needed to be updated for sure. There was something like mold and spaghetti sauce on the furnace access door in our bedroom. Told the front desk about it on day 1, and it was never addressed in 5 days there. Rarely was there anyone at the desk to talk to, so it never got brought up again. Fixtures in the bathroom were worn with the finish coming off. They kept towels stocked well, and the breakfast was decent. Other than that, I wouldn't ever stay here again.

The bed was a bit too hard for my liking but the pillows were nice and soft. The shower was amazing! Nice walkin with great water pressure. Good desk area with nice wide rolling chair.

First impressions were excellent, but during the stay I was bothered by Noise, both from the room next to mine and construction outside my window. You need better soundproofing. The constant food odor from the Kitchen was gross. Is ther no exhaust fans? The room was never cleaned during my 5 day stay. The towels are like sandpaper. The channels on the TV were pixelated and audio was garbled due to poor signal strength. The mattress on the pullout couch was un-sleepable and forced my brother to sleep on the couch cushions. Light bulbs needed replacement. Garbage cans were hidden in the cupboards and too small. Other than that the place was great.

Outdoor patio area was great for our sports team to hang out. Breakfast was good and staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were a little tight with space if you had a family of 3/4 but overall nice. I would recommend.

The kitchen design is nice. Having the kitchenette with stove fridge microwave dishwasher and sink. The queen size bed mattress was thinner and uncomfortable to me. The sofa bed also had a very thin uncomfortable mattress. The bathroom is the type with shower and toilet in one room and you have to exit to use the sink to wash your hands. The bed is right outside that, so disruptive to anyone sleeping if you have to go during the night. Shower pressure and temperature was weak, and they must have a conditioner in the water, because you never really feel clean or rinsed off. Kind of a slimy feeling to me. The staff was great very accommodating and helpful. The pool is much smaller than the pictures seem to show, and our visit in December the water was so cold ( wasn’t heated properly) we couldn’t swim. Big disappointment for our little one. The continental breakfast was typical. The area was very clean and nice.

Overall the suite was just what we needed in terms of space and cleanliness. We had problems with our door key nearly every time we tried to enter and had to have our keys remade multiple times. Both times we went to the pool there were no towels. One time they brought them when we requested, the other time we had to go without.

They lost the chance at a great review when they called the room at 1130pm to say they were having an issue charging the room for $12 in water that was purchased from the hotel pantry earlier in the evening. Woke the whole family up for something that could’ve been handled in the morning at checkout. I had to go down to the front desk to give them my card, the same card that they already had on file. Nobody slept well and the hotel’s poor judgement cost them a great review. We will never stay here again.

Nadia provided amazing customer service. She remembered our names and always checked in when we were passing. The property was well cleaned and comfortable. The shower was amazing felt like you were getting a massage. The breakfast hot and was tasty there were plenty of choices. With the outstanding friendly customer service and clean property we felt as if we were at home. Hands down this is the best hotel experience we have had in the Midwest.

Staybridge Suites in Carmel saved the trip! Hotels .com almost ruined a family weekend. The hotel was overbooked do to Hotels.com negligence. We got a call on our way from out of state that they overbooked!! We had a paid in full reservation for 3 mo. then the day of we get a call they are overbooked!!! The closest hotel with rooms was 1/2 way across Indianapolis!! Absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable. The hotel called me back and put us in 2 suites next to each other. No way in this life time will we EVER book with any of these websites again. We will be going directly to the hotel.

The front desk lady with the beautiful glasses was kind and accommodating. She went above and beyond to help make my stay enjoyable. The breakfast & the layout was exceptional! Only complaint is that the housekeeping manager doesn't permit late check outs.

Our day was good, but check-in was really bad. I told them that we had booked and paid through hotel.com but I had not yet received a receipt and they had no record of my payment. Only my name as reserved so the guy at the front desk did not seem like what he was doing And he charged me two times on my credit card for $105 each time. Then when we got back to my room about an hour later, I saw that we had a receipt for $131 to Hotels.com as of now we still have not Received notice that the previous 2 $105 charges have been reversed. Other than that, the stay was fine.

We stayed at this hotel for the NCAA swim meet at the IUPUI campus in downtown Indianapolis. It was a 20 min drive normally - unless you ran into rush hour traffic … which happened to us a couple of times. It took almost an hour to get there in the evening if you hit traffic about 4:30. In the mornings we waited until 9:30 to leave to avoid the morning rush. And right now there is quite a bit of construction going on around the area which adds to the problem areas. The hotel itself was great. Very friendly staff, very clean, bed was comfortable with room being large enough so you’re not on top of one another. There was a good selection with hot food if desired for breakfast which changed daily. The hotel was in great shape … with property well maintained. And being dog lovers, we saw several there with places to walk them. We would definitely stay there again when in the area.

Breakfast is the best I have ever had at a hotel! Good eggs, sausage and bacon. Wonderful yogurt bar with granola and fresh fruit cottage cheese and hard boiled eggs. Oatmeal bar, three cereals, waffle maker and mini waffle maker. Very clean and well stocked.
