Hampton Inn & Suites Conroe - I-45 North

Great place to stay! Shopping and dining within walking distance! Great gym, outdoor pool and breakfast!

We stayed at this hotel when hurricane beryl hit. The property did not have a back up generator so no lights, no A/C, no hot water for 36 hours.

Checked in at 7:45pm and there was no room available and staff didn’t care. He then said he could give us a king and pullout couch and while it wasn’t ideal for us we said ok. He went to change the reservation and said that room was now gone and didn’t care. Told us to contact Expedia for refund. Then he decided to physically check a room to see if it was clean which it was. No apology for confusion. Get up to the room and it was underwhelming and refrigerator didn’t work. Also not ideal since we were traveling for sports. The pool was disgusting and cloudy and had to go ask for towels at the desk. Never again will we stay there.

This was not a great experience. We arrived around 8:30pm and checked into the room we reserved. The front desk clerk was nice, gave us our keys and we went up to our room on the fourth floor. When we arrived on the the 4th floor, it was clear that the air conditioning on that floor wasn’t working because it was HOT and there were two buckets and some towels catching water from a leak in the ceiling sitting in the middle of the hallway. When we got to our room, we realized that we had been moved from two queens (necessary for our family of four) to a king bed. Clearly that wasn’t going work so we went back down to the front desk where the clerk who checked us in explained he had to move us and didn’t have anymore queen rooms available. He did say the small couch was a sofa sleeper. We were trying to be understanding so we said we would make do. He then let us know that he didn’t have any extra pillows so the kids wouldn’t have pillows for the sofa sleeper. He did offer us blankets at that time, since there weren’t any in the room (even though they moved us out of a room with queens so they knew that we would need blankets for the sofa). The sofa sleeper was super uncomfortable, the comforter on the king bed had eye makeup on it and the carpet was sticky. To top it all off, when we went to check out, they attempted to double charge us (hotels.com had already charged us the full rate) and the credit card on file for the second charge WASN’T EVEN OURS. 100% do not recommend.

My wife and I came in for a festival as vendors in downtown Conroe. The Hotel is nice the staff was very nice n helpful when needed. The only problem I had was with the Mattress in our room.. was very wore out. So made for the not best sleeping for me... Lumpy n saggy for sure . Other than that. It was a pleasant stay. My wife had breakfast each morning. I believe a western omelet... Was included in our stay... There is a Fitness center as well and outside pool . Kinda to cold out trip for the pool. There are a lot of restraunts within walking distance ..

We enjoyed our stay with a couple of caveats. First, we were booked into a Handicap Room, but did not ask for one. We asked to change and were told we could not. Seems unfortunate as we didn't want to take a room that someone may need. Second, the hotel does need a refresh. Wall paper was peeling off the walls and sheetrock repairs were done poorly and need to be redone.

Car was broken into as well as others. Busted all of the windows out

We stayed here after our daughters wedding so we were tired! Didn't do a detailed inspection but you could tell this was a "well used" hotel. The carpet in the room was not clean, the body wash dispenser in the shower was empty, the toilet wouldn't stop running, we were put in a handicap room so the shower water drained to the middle of the bathroom. We slept in and did not get up in time for breakfast but the coffee on the way out of the door was good. Our saving grace was the "Eggs Up Grill" just down the street. They get a 5 star rating!

we were there a few months ago and the bathroom exhaust fan dod not work. This time on another floor it still did not work

The room was clean, convenient and we had no issues.

When I got into our room just got the sense that it was very grimy and dirty. The carpet looked like it had never been cleaned. Overall, it just felt gross.

Shower drain did not work. Could not get maintenance to help or staff to provide plunger. Nothing. So we had a stay without showers. Roach was in the floor little black hairs all over the bathroom and in drain. Tied to address it with manager she was not there after I was told that she would be Sunday mailing.

The room was so dirty; carpet/ floor bedspread I asked to changed room and was accomodated. The room I was switched to was a little cleaner. no bed or towel service, had to go find housekeeping to get fresh towels. The breakfast was mediacore at best.

The only negative was there were termites in both beds in our two-queen bed room. There were at least 30 of the little black bugs with white wings on each bed. The hotel was fully booked, so we were moved to a king suite with a pull-out bed, which was good but the hotel was out of extra pillows and blankets.

The 2nd floor NON Smoking smelled like smoke or pot.

Stay was good however my wife woke up with bed bug bites running down her leg. I would not stay here again.

Super clean lovely stay. Nice breakfast. Nice shower. Only thing I didn’t love were the tiny pillows, but they were comfortable and it seemed to be clean. The shower was strong and hot…that’s important. The breakfast was more like processed eggs and such, but it was better than no protein so not complaining. Friendly front desk.

We only stayed one night for a soccer tournament. The staff was welcoming and bery helpful. This hotel looks like it was modern in the 90s, although very clean, it felt a bit stuffy and old. The breakfast had very little options and there is no USB plug anywhere... (nowhere in the rooms either).

I reserved a king suite but when I arrived the didn’t have any and I went to a small queen room no internet first night desk employees overworked but trying very hard to do the best they could

Very clean and excellent hot breakfast. The only reason I give it 4 stars it is because the mattress was very uncomfortable and the bathroom fan/extractor did not work.

Called to let hotel know I would be arriving late. after midnight. They said no problem.. Go to check in at 12:45 am and their sytem was down. Told me I would be able to check in at 2am. I had to leave and drive home. not happy at all

My wife and I booked a 3 night stay at Hampton Inn in Conroe so we could be with brother who had open heart bypass Friday morning. Check in Thursday night, room was large,clean well furnished and bed comfortable .Breakfast buffet was hot,fresh and good selections.Brother’s surgery was very successful and recovery progress so well,praise the Lord, that we checked out Saturday afternoon at 3:00 . Manager opted not to charge us for Saturday night even though checkout was at 11:00 . Most gracious of her. I would definitely stay here again. Quite and pleasant hotel with friendly staff.

It seems like your receptionist overbooked stays leaving us without the room we ordered a week ago unavailable. Her service was horrendous and disrespectful. Disappointed in the lack of empathy and astonished at her responses. Literally saw her sell several rooms in front of me. And our room was suddenly unavailable. She said yall start saving the rooms in the morning. We booked it a week in advance. I had young kids waiting and exhausted from out of town. I’m not sure how it wasn’t reserved for us when yall sure took our money for it a week prior. Alexandria is rude and doesn’t know customer care. Not one reasonable or logical explanation came out of her.

When we got there at check in time our room was not ready and we had to wait hours for a room to get clean.

Close to ballfields, dining and grocery store. Hotel was clean and well kept.

Really nice property, conveniently located and was well run by the hotel staff.

Pet friendly, good location, lots of dining options within walking distance. Clean property and hotel. This is our 2nd stay in the last few months. Will return again!

It was easy on and easy off of the interstate. Places for shopping and eating was close by.

Clean and restaurants across the parking lot

This was last minute trip that and property was chosen based on location. It is walking distance to at least 5 restaurants. The staff were GREAT. They obviously emphasize treating their guests well. The staff were nicer than most fancy places are now. It is not far from The Woodlands, Lake Conroe and Huntsville for vacation stuff, and it is probably a good place if you work on NE side of Houston

I was there for a family funeral and found the hotel and staff extremely amenable and friendly. The location was ideal and convenient for easy access to all of the surrounding communities.

I liked that restaurants were so close by and some even in walking distance. Room was clean.

The breakfast food was good. Nice size room.

Room was ok clean, bathroom could’ve been better. Staff was great. Breakfast was good.

Stayed here for a wedding and it was all so clean and neat. Loved the breakfast in the morning

Free breakfast from 6-10am, but at 9:30 they had no scrambled eggs, no bacon, no sausage. They only had potatoes and those looked like they had been sitting since 6am. Slim Pickens I general across the board. So just don't go with the expectation of anything but toast and potatoes.
