I really appreciated how large the room was - studio with two queen beds. The beds were comfortable not over firm and not over soft.The breakfast was A . The only disappointment was the hot tub really needed to be set to a higher temperature. But the jets in it provided a great massage. The whole pool area with the glass windows was great and the pool is larger than most hotels. We stayed during the week and it was quiet.

My only complaint is the pool and hot tub has so many chemicals in it we ended to getting really itchy and bad headaches. Property was great besides that. We are sad that we didn't get to enjoy the pool like we had hoped.

After check-in, our room was dank and had a poor smell but the front desk quickly got us into a new roon which was great. The breakfast was excellent and fresh and the morning gym was clean and had everything I wanted. Friendly staff and good parking. Overall a very good experience.

Overall a nice hotel. Decent amenities. Nice pool area. Not overly clean. There was what looked to be liquid makeup covering the chair in the room, so it was not useable. Guess I’m not sure why you wouldn’t clean or replace that before the next guest.

The room that we were given had mold in the shower and one of the large window blinds (two shades) didn't work. One shade was ripped from dog scratches and the one blind behind it was pinned up with clips. Rooms should also be set aside that are pet free for those who can't tolerate pet hair. I complained to the front desk and they said they would send someone right away to see about fixing the blind, no one ever showed up. Also don't book your stays through any source other than the hotel's reservation site or you will be given the worst rooms. Stayed at Hampton Inn in Rochester MN many times throughout the years and this was how we were treated. Won't be staying there again.

Heat wasn’t working. Got back to the hotel about 11:00pm after a long day of work. 62 degrees in the room. Tried many times to reset the thermostat with no luck. I called the front desk, and the woman was very empathetic and nice. She said she would call back. I called back and said they would comp the room and bring more blankets. 20 degrees outside with 40-50 mph winds. Later, after we were in bed, she called and said because we booked through Expedia, they wouldn’t allow a refund.

The staff were absolutely amazing to a grieving family with tons of food from a funeral. They helped us wrap and store it, they helped us manage trash and i saw the staff give the father of the deceased a sweet card. Best staff and experience we could ask for in a terrible time for everyone.

It was quiet and easy to get to. The front desk staff were not friendly and helpful. The staff at this location went above and beyond to make our stay nice and comfortable. Booking through Expedia, our reservation got messed up for the first night and we didn’t have a room. I requested a room on the top floor away from the elevator. Instead, we were given room on the second floor next to the elevator. I’m pulling down the bedsheet, and there was some foreign object laying on the sheet. I went to the receptionist and showed it to her. She said that she would make sure that the manager would be notified. Nothing has been done about it.

Didn't like the fact that when we were at the hospital and our test were getting pushed back, we tried to call the hotel several times to talk about a late check out and there was no answer on the phone. Was very disappointed that there were no vending machines. Plus, if you bought things, they were charged to your room wasn't too fond of that.

I have never been to Rochester MN before, and I am from NW Indiana. I read some good reviews on the Hampton North Rochester. The place actually exceeded my expectations when I arrived at 2 AM. It is beautifully decorated and the front desk was extremely hospitable and helpful. The room and the entire place was very clean. Breakfast was very good- with plenty of choices. Refills came quickly.The bed was comfortable, the room was quite spacious, and it had a fridge. It was very quiet. It truly was a gem on my trip to see my son swim at the Rochester Recreational Center. I traveled alone, and it is a safe spot. I did not leave a Do Not Disturb sign out, and this is 1 of the few hotels that still replenish and refresh everything. Jenna, at the front desk, was amazing at listening to my independent needs and accommodating me. I am so thankful that I found this place. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT and hope to be back in the future!

Very convenient location, right off of interstate/highway 52. Lots of dining / shopping all within 10mins from the hotel! Breakfast was good, toast, bagels, waffle maker, scrambled eggs, sausage patties, fruit. Cereal, milk, juices, coffee. Very warm & welcoming hotel! Pool hot tub was nice, towels provided. We were the only ones in there both nights of our stay! Walmart/texas roadhouse down from hotel. McDonald's & gas station on corner of the hotel street. Would highly recommended!!

HVAC was loud and difficult to adjust to a comfortable temperature. We had no shampoo and the front desk said they would send someone up. They never came. A little outdated.
