Good location, great if you are a football fan. Hotel is part of the MK Dons stadium which makes for an interesting view of the pitch at breakfast. Hotel staff super friendly and efficient. Rooms well appointed and a nice size. Mattresses not the most comfortable, other than that the room was great. Onsite gym is well equipped. A good choice of restaurants within a five minute walk. Would be happy to return.

Ive stopped at this hotel numerous times for work so I was surprised when they'd more than doubled the rate on a Sunday night when Muse were playing at the MK Bowl. The main bar on the 2nd floor was closed and the one in the lobby was open which is very average.

The only negative is that you have to pay for parking though hotel guests get 24 hours for £8 which compares to £20 for non guest parking as the parking is for the MK Dons Arena (hotel is part of the arena complex).

A unique property overlooking the stadium. Huge room which felt nicer than being cramped. The best bit? The breakfast that goes on to 11am. We were in Milton Keynes for an all day festival and so many hotels finish breakfast at 9.30 or 10am....which when you're out late and quite frankly, hungover, you can't always eat that early. Staff were attentive and friendly. Great place!

Always an amazing stay at this hotel although the lacks of working lifts seem to be an ongoing problem. Unfortunately this time the elevator broke with me in it and I got trapped in the door!

The Hilton is a great choice when the football is not on. The rooms are very comfortable and there is a great choice for breakfast. Have stayed a couple of times and found this time that you now have to pay to park. Hotel discount cost though still expensive.

Business trip....biiig hotel. Great breakfast. Many parking spaces BUT a very outdated system to register the vehicle for parking and virtually impossible for a foreigner such as myself. Luckily the hotel had an option to pay a fee at the reception. Tons of shopping and restaurants within walking distance.

We were impressed with the hotel from the moment we checked in and were given hot cookies! Our room was excellent and spacious and very good value. Bar area was very nice. Breakfast was excellent. Only niggle was that only 1 of 3 lifts was working during our stay and the wait for the lift was very long. Therefore we had to use the stairs throughout our stay (not really an issue for us, but would have been an issue for many). Will definitely stay here again.

I usually enjoy staying at this hotel, but this visit was very disappointing. The first room (4018) smelled bad and had a bed bug trap with live bugs inside. Reception acted like it was normal, which was concerning. I asked to switch rooms. But next day, they confirmed there’s none of bed bugs. They shouldn’t denied it because I got pictures for proof The second room (4226) wasn’t much better, there was a used plastic cover from a razor left on the floor and a towel just tossed in. Also, soundproofing was poor, with banging doors and noise through the walls late at night. This was the first bad experience I’ve had here, but it was enough to make me rethink staying again. Needs serious improvement in hygiene and comfort.

Lovely hotel.Great breakfast. Only small gripe was an old chicken packed sandwhich in the fridge with end date 8 days previous which made the inside smell. Only one tissue left in box in the bathroom. But very hood service on reception.

Very impressed. Spotless room. Very interesting to see the MK Dons pitch. Staff super friendly and helpful. Breakfast too expensive at £20 per person, and a bit chaotic but the food was good. Shower in our room had no power.

Hi, I have just returned home after staying in room 3013 in your Milton Keynes Double Tree hotel. I am emailing to inform you that when we arrived late afternoon & checked in we noticed that the room smelt “musty” & damp but didn’t think too much of it as we had to meet family for a meal. When we returned to the room late that evening the smell was a lot & it became obvious that there had been some kind of problem - maybe a flood or similar & the room had not dried out completely but I was with my daughter, it was late so decided as we were only staying one night we’d have to put up with it. As an asthmatic & as the night went on I found it increasingly difficult to breathe confirming that the room was indeed pretty damp in general so a good nights sleep was NOT had. Upon check out I did inform the reception staff who apologised. I thought I’d also send an email as room 3013 obviously needs some attention & now we are home ALL of our luggage & clothes that were in the room with us also smell very musty & damp. We have stayed in your hotel at the MK Dons stadium previously & never had an issue like this.

We have stayed at DoubleTree many times. Reception staff are always welcoming. Evgenia is always friendly and helpful. She has checked us in on our last three visits. As a side note, we have witnessed a guest being quite rude to her and she communicated with them in such a professional manner. We sometimes request a room up-grade and the hotel has always been able to accommodate, even if it is for a specific room, so thank you House-keeping staff. The hotel is clean and the rooms are always spotless. The food in the Red Dot bar has always been served in good time and is always hot. We dined in the Pitchside bar/restaurant on our last visit. The kitchen had an issue with the gas supply. We were kept informed regarding our food order (delay) and received extra portions when the food arrived - result! We’re staying again this weekend - hope the kitchen has the same issue, ha ha ha. Would highly recommend this hotel to friends. I almost forgot... great warm cookies! Just one negative point - guests are charged for parking. Most hotels request that you register your vehicle but are not charged.

very welcoming check in, i have to be honest and say i was itching in the bed i was in (3074) there was chewing gum rubbed into the bathroom area surrounding the sink and the TV channels are poor, the walk can be far to your room and they went a long way past my long walk and the noise from outside if i guess not pitch facing was quite loud late and early

Hotel is great for location and we have previously stayed here. We added breakfast as part of our stay and we were not disappointed good quality food and loads of choice. Hotel room very warm. Air con not working and we let reception know. The room would not drop below 25c. They promised to have it looked at by maintenance but this never happened. They dropped off a desk fan. Biggest annoyance was what was FREE parking is now £20 per day £40 for our 2 days if you book outside via phone. Luckily we spoke to reception and they offered a discount price of £8 per day added to the hotel bill. We will no longer say here at these ridiculous charges. We have a blue badge and this makes no difference as ALL cars are charged despite the blue badge.

The air conditioning didn't work and there was no windows to open. It was really hot. Unfortunately we didn't realise this until late and we were tired. These things should be checked when rooms are made up. The breakfast the hash browns were over cooked the bacon was under cooked. The sausages were awful.

The Doubletree Hotel is good value to stay but it is a long Hotel you get out the lift and your room can sometimes take a while to get to thats not a moan just a comment.

Lovely hotel in a fantastic location. Went to a gig at the National Bowl so this was a great location within half an hour's walk of the bowl. I can be fussy with mattress comfort as I like a soft bed, and even though this was on the firm side of my preference, I did find the bed really comfy. The hotel text to ask how our room was (a really nice touch) and I asked for an extra couple.of pillows. These were delivered within ten minutes so great service. Complimentary bottles of water and tea and coffee all included with a fridge. We had a view over the pitch... Neither of us are.football fans, but it was a nice novelty! Breakfast was good with a great selection of fruits and ham and cheeses with pastries and cereal as well as cooked breakfast all help yourself. They had scrambled, fried and poached eggs all on the buffet which was a nice touch. The mushrooms could have had a bit more love as they seemed to just be boiled, but everything else was good. There are a good selection of restaurants next door to the arena,.most with outdoor seating next to the cinema so plenty of choice for evening meals. There are also a few shops next door, as well as Asda, Ikea, and fast food options of Maccies, KFC and Burger King. Easy to get to, great location, comfy spacious rooms and a good breakfast. Not the cheapest hotel around, but I would stay again.

Very good breakfast. The room was a very long way from the lift and I think the hotel should point this out as guests as like us they may be elderly and find such a long walk, right round the length of the football stadium.

The reception was overwhelmed with the number of people trying to book in, only to be told rooms weren’t ready, customers were sent away and asked to return in an hours time, with rooms still not ready! We were there for an event and had also booked a table in marco pierre white restaurant, which we wax late for, which knock on to our arrival at the event too.

As we walked into reception we were met with an uninterested member of staff, which was a sign of the the experience we would be subjected to. As soon as I walked into room there was an overpowering smell of vomit . I proceeded to walk onto the carpet and stepped onto a wet patch . The cleaners had tried to clean it but obviously were unable to eliminate the smell. Asked reception for 2 pairs of slippers to which the initial reply was that there were none available. After a lengthy debate eventually were given only one pair. The night was very disturbed and uncomfortable . The noise from outside the hotel and the hallway was unacceptable. We were constantly disturbed and were shocked that the sound proofing was atrocious. We thought we’d try this hotel again to give it another chance as last year we had a similar experience. But after this we have decided never to waste our money here again.

Absolutely terrible choice of hotel! Very long walk to room, non existent customer service. No ventilation had to call maintenance who had to change a filter. Ordered room service which did not arrive! Was very disappointed with it. Expected a better service from Hilton which was why I had initially booked there!

We have stayed at DoubleTree many times. Reception staff are always welcoming. Evgenia is always friendly and helpful. She has checked us in on our last three visits. As a side note, we have witnessed a guest being quite rude to her and she communicated with them in such a professional manner. We sometimes request a room up-grade and the hotel has always been able to accommodate, even if it is for a specific room, so thank you House-keeping staff. The hotel is clean and the rooms are always spotless. The food in the Red Dot bar has always been served in good time and is always hot. We dined in the Pitchside bar/restaurant on our last visit. The kitchen had an issue with the gas supply. We were kept informed regarding our food order (delay) and received extra portions when the food arrived - result! We’re staying again this weekend - hope the kitchen has the same issue, ha ha ha. Would highly recommend this hotel to friends. I almost forgot... great warm cookies! Just one negative point - guests are charged for parking. Most hotels request that you register your vehicle but are not charged.

Good location, great if you are a football fan. Hotel is part of the MK Dons stadium which makes for an interesting view of the pitch at breakfast. Hotel staff super friendly and efficient. Rooms well appointed and a nice size. Mattresses not the most comfortable, other than that the room was great. Onsite gym is well equipped. A good choice of restaurants within a five minute walk. Hotel literally part of the MK Dons stadium so hotel room was looking out into the notice was which unique; some local cups were on whilst we weee there so a little noisy! Good location for some shopping and food places. Parking is part of wider complex so busy but plenty of spaces and reduced rate via hotel.

Stayed over for a flight from Luton. Plenty of parking available and lots of places within a 5 minute walk to eat and drink. Only criticism I have is no window to open so no fresh air in the rooms.

Lovely hotel in a fantastic location. Went to a gig at the National Bowl so this was a great location within half an hour's walk of the bowl. I can be fussy with mattress comfort as I like a soft bed, and even though this was on the firm side of my preference, I did find the bed really comfy. The hotel text to ask how our room was (a really nice touch) and I asked for an extra couple.of pillows. These were delivered within ten minutes so great service. Complimentary bottles of water and tea and coffee all included with a fridge. We had a view over the pitch... Neither of us are.football fans, but it was a nice novelty! Breakfast was good with a great selection of fruits and ham and cheeses with pastries and cereal as well as cooked breakfast all help yourself. They had scrambled, fried and poached eggs all on the buffet which was a nice touch. The mushrooms could have had a bit more love as they seemed to just be boiled, but everything else was good. There are a good selection of restaurants next door to the arena,.most with outdoor seating next to the cinema so plenty of choice for evening meals. There are also a few shops next door, as well as Asda, Ikea, and fast food options of Maccies, KFC and Burger King. Easy to get to, great location, comfy spacious rooms and a good breakfast. Business trip....biiig hotel. Great breakfast. Many parking spaces BUT a very outdated system to register the vehicle for parking and virtually impossible for a foreigner such as myself. Luckily the hotel had an option to pay a fee at the reception. Tons of shopping and restaurants within walking distance.

The air conditioning didn't work and there was no windows to open. It was really hot. Unfortunately we didn't realise this until late and we were tired. These things should be checked when rooms are made up. The breakfast the hash browns were over cooked the bacon was under cooked. The sausages were awful.

Staff were welcoming and efficient. The breakfast was brilliant. Lots of selection and hot. Room was comfortable and a good size. The only small issue was the bathroom had no hand lotion, it had been left empty. Great hotel in an excellent location. We will be back

The hotel was lovely and clean - room was a good size and the beds lovely and comfy !! I ordered a BLT for room service with triple cooked chips - the bread was stale and the chips not cooked !! Left the food in the corridor to be moved - not nice unfortunately. Just an apology at checkout but not good enough for a £23 meal !

Great view of the MK Dons Stadium, great sized room, big comfy bed, only issue was quite disappointed with breakfast, the food was flavourless, sausage and bacon poor for the price, very bland, same with the boiled mushrooms, otherwise a very good stay and great staff

Good hotel although the reception staff had little knowledge of the on site dinning facilities. Breakfast as expected, good. Evening non-existent despite information on the TV and also from the staff. We ate out both nights. The pitch side restaurant only had one GF main meel. We did not have a TV link initially, however the IT staff quickly put this right, although it failed again two days later. I have been to numerous Hilton Hotels and never had such issues. Maybe a glitch, lets hope so

The Hilton is a great choice when the football is not on. The rooms are very comfortable and there is a great choice for breakfast. Have stayed a couple of times and found this time that you now have to pay to park. Hotel discount cost though still expensive.

Bed was comfortable. The weather has rexmcwntly changed and became colder. The air-conditioning in the room seemed to take a long time to warm up the room. The bathroom was very cold with no heating. Breakfast was basic with only one tea and coffee machine working so it had long queues.

Stayed here for the 2nd time. Reception and checking was t great. The check in lady was not very welcoming, mumbled through most of the checkin. Had a few issues where we had to change rooms twice. Staff were a little more helpful and granted comp breakfast for 1 of the 3 mornings. Room was clean upon checkin. However turnover didn’t happen on a daily basis. This would be appreciated. All in all the stay was ok. I’d go again next year.
