The hotel was very lovely and accommodating. The amenities online claim there is parking, that is false. There is only valet which is almost $70 a day. Just something to be mindful of. There are parking garages in the area.

The building is lovely and the staff are extremely professional. There are two issues though, both having to do with the elevators. First, the elevators are flooded with extremely loud music for much of the day and into the evening. Second, at least when I was there, at least 2 of the 4 elevators were usually out of use, which made it take FOREVER to get up and down to the top floors. It is an unfortunate points deduction for an otherwise excellent hotel.

I writing about my current holiday at your hotel. The building and room were beautiful however that is not enough. Thursday night a loud sounding noise woke us up three times. We thought it was an emergency alarm but discovered it was the heating unit. We had to turn the heat off to deal w the issue. The next day we called and someone came up to service the unit. Once again Saturday night the same issue. Once again, interruptedsleep in a very cold room. Long lines every day because all the elevators were not functioning.

Beautiful hotel. Prime location. Convenient. Everything was walkable. There were just 2 adults in our party. With the “VIP” from Expedia - The hotel gave us 2 breakfast “vouchers”. That was actually equivalent to 4 entrees. They have a free coffee bar in the lobby, both iced and hot options available. The room was clean, bathroom clean, shower clean- very nice. They have a large closet with several hangers, an iron, a safe, a refrigerator. The TV worked well, no issues with anything within the room. It wasn’t 100% quiet, we heard the occasional door slam but the room doors were heavy, so I’m not surprised. We had a song machine with us and it blocked out any noise while we slept, we didn’t hear a thing. We stayed for 2 nights. The staff was friendly. The hotel restaurant was great for breakfast, we didn’t have any other meals there. They have a nice fitness center on the 4th floor with updated equipment. Only negatives, if you would even call them that, is that there is only 1 ice machine- on the 4th floor in the fitness area. AND there were only 3 elevators that seemed to work out of the 4 they have. With 24 floors, sometimes the wait for an elevator was long (up to maybe 3-5 minutes). And they are smaller elevators, so you might not even get the first one that comes. That was the only true negative. Other than that, we have an EXCELLENT stay and hope to go back again one day.

Always love staying at this property. Great team, convenient location for what I like to do and lots of dining options close by. My only criticism is the corners and along the baseboards in the lobby appeared very dusty. Probably not that notions I was in hospitality for years and those stand out to me.

The hotel room wasn't very clean the nightstand in between the beds had several coffee stains and the lamp shade had food stains. The room felt a little eerily and the nightly rate was entirely to high with additional unnecessary fees given the room quality. We ended up checking out and making other last minute arrangements.

The hotel is well located but our room was tiny We had pre paid breakfast and we specifically asked if breakfast reservations were needed on a Monday. We were told no. PS when we arrived for breakfast there was an hour wait. That wasn’t acceptable The hotel was clean and we were reimbursed for breakfast when we had to go elsewhere.

Check in was quick. Room was quiet. Room 1801 warning: DON’T stay in this room. The bed, oh the bed was terrible! Both queen beds were horrible. The mattresses were completely broken down and should have been replaced long before today. Rolling to the other side was like an uphill battle only to find the other side was also broken down. My pain level is now at a 6 and can’t stand up straight because my back hurts so bad. My husband’s back is just as painful.

This is my favorite hotel in Philadelphia. All staff are very professional and quick. The room very clean with the BEST TUB. I have stayed here several times and don't even consider elsewhere when in town now. The breakfast is very tasty and great service. My room was very quiet too. The neighborhood has some good food options - my fav cheese steak spot is a block away and lots of great ice cream nearby.

We received excellent service From the valets to the front desk attendants and the concierge. Everyone was pleasant and helpful. The room was immaculate as was the gym. We liked the $20 beverage credit and made use of it with a bottle of wine at the bar. The coffee on offer in the library area in the morning was alsovery good. All in all an excellent stay

When in Philadelphia this is my go to hotel. It is within walking distance to everything Center City and the shops and restaurants of Rittenhouse Square. Rooms are as expected in a converted building. Clean and quiet. I like the design aesthetic as well.

I love how close proximity the hotel is to everything. The septa Surburban stop was a 6-minute walk. Shopping and dining options all walkable. The buses are right around the corner. The only con is that the restaurant does not serve dinner.

Great downtown location, afternoon wine was a nice touch. Loud, throbbing music in lobby and elevators was off-putting. Breakfast in the hotel was not good….no yogurt was available, bagel tasted more than day-old, steel cut oatmeal was really just regular oatmeal, and it took forever to get to us.

The property was fine- very standard. The room was nice- spacious closet! The two problems were: 1- bathroom: the face towels had makeup stains on them. 2- a rat joined us for drinks. I’m a New Yorker so I’m used to seeing rats, and I get it Philly is also a bustling city. But rats hanging out IN the bar- not great :-/ what was weirder was the manager tried to make excuses (we’re near an ally, sometimes things happen etc). He didn’t seem alarmed or overly concerned, which was concerning for a hotel that charges $500-$800 a night. They did offer us free breakfast, which we declined (rat gate had just happened in the same restaurant!!) and they waived our parking charge for the night, so I appreciate that gesture. Stuff happens that’s unexpected. But given the attitude of the staff, it may not be that irregular? And for that, I have to give it fewer stars.

The helpful kindness of the staff from first to last, including the check ups via text, were excellent. The food and drink in the resto was delicious. Room was very spacious and the shower and tub room combo was an unexpected treat. The daily wine bar happy hour with truffle oil popcorn served by staff was unexpected and delightful. Good location, room was decent. Gym is outdated. Restaurant was very poor. Evening bartender, big guy, was very slow and rude. I sat for 10 mins waiting for a beer. Had a burger and bun was cold and fell apart instantly. Very disappointing.
