Ihe facility overall was excellent. The pool was to be the highlight of our stay however the pool was cloudy and greyish the first 2 days with dead bugs in filter. On our last day, Saturday it was much better and the water was clear. I did let the desk know Friday that the pool was an issue for us. We asked for towels and and coffee twice on Sat. Ended up going to desk for them myself. They came for trash and gave us toilet paper after we asked on Friday. No used towel pick up or garbage, sweeping etc the rest of our 3 night stay. The Members club staff were excellent, as was the gentleman who helped with TV. Desk people were welcoming when we checked in. I felt bad not leaving a tip for housekeeping, as I think they were short staffed. Once housekeeping said they would return but never did on Saturday.

The hotels is undergoing intensive renovations. We were woken up on Saturday to jackhammering and drilling. On top of that we were charged twice after already purchasing our room in full via Hotels.com. The hotel told me that I’ll be refunded but it may take 7-10 days.

Walking distance to ISU campus, CVS, Jimmy Johns, coffee shop, shopping etc. Clean hotel with indoor pool and workout facility. Nice lounge area with bar. Beds were comfortable. Staff was very nice. Check-in was easy.

Same as my experience last month. They exceeded my expectations last time which also raised them. I came again with slightly higher expectations, and they met it. Can't beat a hotel this nice with this nice of service that has a skywalk to the parking ramp. Be ready to enjoy your stay here.

Upon arrival there was trash from the last person and the body wash dispenser was almost empty so it took many attempts to get enough to use. Lastly, after taking my shoes off late at night until I took my shower the next day I noticed the floor was sticky. Upon looking at my feet before I took a shower I noticed they were very dirty. So after my shower and until I left I walked around in my dress shoes to Keep my feet clean. The service was awesome with staff always greeting me and helpful to assist. The room was newly updated and I loved the shower. The staff were great to make sure at the conference we had everything we needed. The food was great!

The hotel was beautiful, clean and had a very pleasant atmosphere. I had the smallest room, a king bed and pull out couch, and I felt it was plenty roomy. The bathroom had quality toiletries and the bedding was clean and comfortable. The tv system left something to be desired, considering it is 2026. The satellite was out for a good portion of our stay, and the internet options were very limited bc it wasn't a smart tv. I had to request multiple times that my room be cleaned and bedding changed, etc, but I gathered they were a bit overwhelmed with a bunch of events during my stay. Not a deal breaker, but worth noting. Overall, I would definitely recommend the Marriott at ISU. Nice staff, spacious and clean rooms, convenient parking and located right off the main drag through town.

It was a disappointing experience. Lackluster front desk staff. The restaurant hours that the staff confirmed were incorrect and left us without a food option when we arrived. And the room and bathroom was not clean or fully stocked. I would not stay here again.

Bathroom door to hard to close and open. Thermostat not working room was very cool 67 degrees. Toiler paper holder was broken and roller missing. The toiler flush handle loose.

Check-in took about 10 minutes - excuse was short staffed. Others around us were requesting room changes because their rooms did not get cleaned adequately. We did not have that issue. Room was warm and never really cooled down, even with the setting at the lowest A/C degrees possible. Toilet handle was broken and hanging by a thread. Bed was very comfortable and bar area was nice.

Nice property. Room was clean. Only issue I had was at check-in. They couldn't find my reservation and in the end was told that their system was older and sometimes had trouble with reservations made through outside sources (Expedia in my case). The staff was helpful in rectifying the situation, only after my insistence that they fix the issue, not me.

We were not registered correctly. Got a very loud banging on door early Saturday morning. Sounded like a police raid. Basically accused of "squatting." We thought perhaps a family member had died. Then story changed to it was a "safety check." My daughter and I were shaking, very frightened by aggressive staff! Later found we were not registered by desk clerk correctly, although clerk at registration desk gave us room cards. Traumatic experience for us. Daughter is a 55 year old teacher, I am a 77 year old retired teacher. Not big threat!

Check-in process was subpar. Upon check-in I was informed the room I booked was not available because they were oversold. I was offered a different room which was not at all ideal. I explained that I booked this room several months ago and at the time rooms were available. They said they was nothing they could do. I stated it was unacceptable. I would like the room booked. The employee was upset but miraculously the room I booked was available after a few keystrokes.

Computers were down. They didn’t want to give us the king room we reserved because we were a third party. After a lengthy discussion, we got a king room. We didn’t get room keys and could only get in the room with housekeeper’s keyfab. We couldn’t leave room until checkout. I received a text from the hotel saying they have my room key after 1:00pm even though I checked out at 8:30am. Wasn’t happy

I liked the convenience of being so close to campus and the surrounding areas shops and eating. I was disappointed in the hotel, our check in time was 4 and I arrived at 3:50 to wait in a line with 6 people and only one person the deck at check in time. When I finally got to the front (after 4) I was told my room was not ready. This is completely unacceptable and I didn’t come back for 3 hours. The hotel needs updating but was pretty clean. No free breakfast or free parking like Hyatt across the street where I’ll be staying from now on. I will be visiting for the next 5 years with two sons attending the University and it’s a one and done with Marriott. Marriott can do better!

For the $$$ price this hotel asks it is very worn in and without any real "perks", like free parking (in a small college town) or a room service menu in the room. Having to call the front desk who then sent me to the website which did NOT have a menu, just a place to reserve a table, was exhausting and an enormous time soak to just order some dinner. I ended up having to go down to the bar and order since they actually had a menu. there also was no garbage can in the bathroom. Really?

This was a wonderful stay!! The staff was so attentive! Just to name a few Michelle, Chase and Melissa! We ate in the restaurant at the hotel and food and drinks were so good! Definitely would stay again!! Clean, updated and great amenities!

I really enjoyed my experience but I was super bummed because I traveled from Wisconsin and when you get to the room you kind of want to look at a menu and order room service they had nothing in the room for any menus I had to call down to place an order I just felt very frustrated and I felt bad for the staff as they had to run the food up and then I just felt like it was a lot for them... I would suggest when someone checks into their room to have menus available so that we are able to order room service to the room or at least place an order and go down to get it.... On my second night I actually had to call down to the concierge to ask where I could get some delivery options and she was kind enough to bring a list up to me but two of those that I called and was all set to order so they didn't deliver to the hotel but she went on her way to help me I felt that when I came I was greeted very professionally with the staff they were extremely helpful and wonderful my downside is just going up to the room and not having any menus available or ideas on where you can shop things like that especially if you're not familiar with the area I felt like a small little binder should have been in place showing what's around the city the shops the ISU University places where you can order out food..... I felt like I had to rely on the staff to help me

The hotel was solid. Clean, safe, a big tv., in a nice location- a nice hotel. Look elsewhere for breakfast-$18 for fake eggs even for the omlettes, cheap sausage and gravy, cheap cereal, no oatmeal and a small amount of fruit- seems like for that amount they could have atleast real eggs and stuff.

The staff was inexperienced and the grounds are in need of updating but overall we had a pleasant time. The pool needed to be cleaned and we got items stolen. Check-in took forever. Parking was easy and location is amazing! We had to ask for specific food at breakfast that was not out out at the buffet (the French toast was amazing but the servers was visibly annoyed going in the back to get it for us.)

We paid extra to stay in a Concierge room in order to have breakfast in the Concierge lounge, unfortunately, they’re charging for this, but there is no breakfast available there. Disappointed.
