Music Road Resort Hotel and Inn

Nice hotels, room, the 24 hour pool is great when you have kids. The outdoor pool was also heated. Unfortunately it was too cold to enjoy the outside space. Good service and breakfast.

Staff was outstanding- friendly, real people. Rooms were very clean and child friendly. Pool area was amazing. I would DEFINITELY book this hotel again.

From the top check-in was easy and front desk staff were friendly our room was at the hotel on the 4th floor, elevators were sufficient enough to not have to wait an extended amount of time. The pool and lazy river were very nice and comfortable to swim and enjoy but the one bummer was that the waterfall in the lazy river was not functioning and the lazy river was a bit… lazy. Also what happened to the little snack bar by the pool? Our room was nice and cool on arrival, the cleanliness was as expected. The microwave in the room was OLD (1950s?) it took a masters in engineering to start it and it couldn't properly pop a bag of popcorn. The carpet in the room was about as old as the microwave and looked dingy and stretched. The mattresses were mediocre at best and were not the most comfortable due to being saggy with ruts in them. Definitely not the worst I’ve slept on but nothing to brag about either. The bathroom was beautiful and nicely updated. I will say that the river side patio area was nice and exceeded expectations with nice adarondak chairs and tables. The balcony of our room was a straight view of the cemetery and the chairs were probably from the dollar store about 5 years ago. I love the old school grande decor but basically the entire hotel part of the resort could use an update due to just being worn down and old and this did not hold up to my expectations of a stay at a “resort” versus a super 8 with a nice pool. I would stay here again but hopeful of an update

We had a great stay! The breakfast was good and had many choices. Our room and the facility was clean and well taken care of. All of the staff were nice and helpful. The indoor and outdoor pool was great and the kids loved it! The location was great and very convenient to everything. We will definitely be coming back.

From the beautiful lobby, friendly staff, free breakfast, great clean rooms, pool(s) especially the outdoor pool space was fantastic and clean and well maintained.

Staff members rude when checked in with others. AC didn’t work well at all in the room stayed hot in the room. Definitely will not be back at this hotel. Hall ways smelled like smoke but signs on wall saying no smoking. Do yourself a favor and fine some place else to stay. Also, one of the elevators was broken.

Loved the property and was still kid friendly. Parking was easy and offered a good breakfast. Loved that the indoor pool was 24/7 so no matter how long the day was we were still able to enjoy the pool after.

Music Road is one of our favorite places to stay! Pool/hot tub are open 24hrs. Pool is heated and hot tub is nice and hot. The only reason this didn’t get 5 stars is because of the amount of chlorine in the hot tub! It will burn your eyes and there’s so much it discolored our clothes :/ Other than that, everything else was fantastic. Great friendly staff, breakfast is hot and taste great, room was clean and comfy beds!

Our room was clean and large. We had the king river view. The property was beautiful. The complementary breakfast was good. It had waffles, eggs, sasuage, cereal, yougart, bagles and cinnamon rolls. The only negative was the hotel had 1 working elevator and sometimes it took 10 to 15 minutes to get downstairs.

We only stayed for one night. The Inn is very outdated. Our view was a cemetery. It appeared that the curtains had blood stain stains on them. They really need to update the hotel. It smelled and i was thankful i bring my own bedding and pillows. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Room was not cleaned at all. Dropped some change on the floor and moved the bed looking gif it. Food and dirt were under the bed. Chips and we didn’t eat chips this whole trip. Utterly disgusting!! Toilet wouldn’t flush and the shower wouldn’t drain. Couldn’t wait to get out if there. Staff very unfriendly. Have stayed there every time we visit pigeon forge. Last time

Very clean and very nice!

Everything was great. Except the most important issue that turned us off was the room smelling musty. I even bought a can of Lysol to spray. I must say we did not notify staff as we thought it was a little better after the Lysol and the first room cleaning.

Loved our stay at Music Road resort hotel. We arrived a little early to check in. Staff went above and beyond to get us situated so we could make our dinner show. Spacious room was well appointed. Our room had a balcony overlooking the river, with amazing views of the Smokies. Definitely worth the upgrade IMO.

The pool’s are wonderful, but can get crowded fast. My kids loved the slide. I enjoyed the hot tub, but it was a little small as well. The breakfast was good, but it great crowded as well. The earlier you go seemed to be less packed. Over all it was very clean. My reservation said the bed was supposed to have been pillow top, but unfortunately it was very uncomfortable for me. It’s close and convenient to all the shops, and food

The only thing was I was promised a view of the river and the mountains and I got a view of trees and small part of the river and no mountains. 4th floor. But best bed I ever slept in on vacation

We cut our trip short because the bed in our room was so awful. It felt like we were sleeping on a two inch blanket on top of a board. The walls were really thin too, we could hear everything going on around us. The lobby and terrace looked super nice. We didn’t use the pool because it was on and off stormy weather.

A little dated in the hallways. Needs spruced up a little to be great again!

It was very clean and quiet. Beds were not comfortable and wifi was slow. Staff was very courteous and would stay again

My wife and I just got new IPhones and the charging cable only works with USB ports. NONE whatsoever in our room. Went to front desk to ask about this. "You can go to Walmart, I think they have a conversion for that". Say what????

The hotel needs to be upgraded A LOT. plugs falling out of receptacles, holes in curtains, no usb ports. Bed was really comfortable

Our stay was very comfortable at the Music Road Hotel and highly recommend for getting a River View Room on the higher floor of the hotel for an amazing Mountain View.

Arrived at hotel at 11 a.m., check is was not until 4 p,m. Front desk clerk was rude, hateful, and condescending about me requesting an early check-in. The parking lot was empty, nobody was at the pool and I'm certain rooms were available. I asked what time would be a better time to return. She just kept repeating herself "4 p.m. is check in" like a robot. Just completely impressionable. She did not smile one time from the time I walked to the counter. I said "thank-you" 3 times forcing her to say you're welcome. At breakfast the next morning the 2 ladies in the breakfast area were furious because there were about 10-15 of us finishing our breakfast. One announced in a very rude and almost yelling tone, "Breakfast ended at 10 and it is now 10:15. You need to finish up and leave within the next 5 minuets." and then proceeded to pace back and forth in front of the few tables that were trying to scarf down their food. The published breakfast time is 7-10. My party arrived at 9:40 but due to the lines it took a long time to get through and sit down to eat, that is why there were people still eating at 10:15. The 2nd food attendant stood there immediately after the rude announcement with her finger pointed to her wrist while starring into the crowd for just a moment and acted mad that we were still eating. Two people who had left to go to the bathroom across the hall were locked out of the breakfast area. Rooms and pool were clean. Maintenance staff very friendly.

The desk clerk who checked us in at The Inn was incredibly rude and created the worst check in experience I’ve ever experienced. I rarely write negative reviews but this guy merited the review. We’ve stayed multiple times and will never come back again after the way we were treated.

The breakfast was great! My kids enjoyed the pool and it was very clean and the balcony was great off of the room. However check in was not great the lady just was not nice and was to worried about putting her hair up and stared at us like we had ruined our day. The next day another lady was at the desk we asked a question and she was snarky and again acted like her day had been ruined.

Excellent property. The check-in process was seamless, with an early check-in prior to the scheduled 4:00 pm time. Rooms, pool area, and property were all impeccably clean. The staff demonstrated exceptional accommodation. A decent breakfast was included.

Our stay was great. Everyone was very accommodating and met our needs without hesitation I would recommend music road resort to anyone.

Usually I would give this property a 5 but the staff and service I had is why I rated it so low. Staff does not care at all about guest.

We got in super late. The staff called and checked on us to make sure we were okay since it was getting late. Our remote control was broken but the staff quickly brought us a new one and even brought small gifts for our kids. Our room was clean and felt very safe. We really enjoyed the stay and would definitely stay again!

During our stay, my elderly mother fell and needed stitches. The night clerk, went above and beyond helping me get my Mom to the car and making sure I had the right GPS directions to the nearest ER. The next morning, management and staff went above and beyond to make sure we were okay. 10/10 would recommend and stay again.

Gray overnight stay in between our trip to Dollywood. The hotel was accommodating, friendly, and a clean room and bathroom. Complementary breakfast in the morning and located in a perfect spot amongst 100+ activities and restaurants.

The Pool was fantastic and the Mountain View was great. It is not on the Strip but close enough that it doesn’t matter.

A beautiful hotel inside and out It was very convenient for walking onto the Parkway Parkway. The breakfast was fine not many options but still tasted well. They do not have condiments like ketchup. I found a little odd. The vending machines don’t work Just wanted the late nights snack and a bottle of water could not get it. The swimming pool inside and out was awesome and very clean. Staff was great as well We would recommend this hotel, especially if you have kids they would love the swimming pools. We would definitely stay here again

The hotel was clean, well maintained and beautiful. Their staff was helpful and friendly. The outdoor pool was a nice addition with a slide and other fun activities. Breakfast was excellent as well. It was nice that the hotel was off the main road but close to everything.

This place was offset just enough to give a little privacy. Property was quiet and pretty. Pool areas were great. Very clean and comfortable. Love it!

No fresh fruit served, Oatmeal was watery, hot water was served but no tea bags or chocolate mix. More variety and selection

The hotel was near entertainment for a variety of ages. There’s a dinner about 100 yards away if that. The pool is lovely with low water in the middle and deeper o. The edges. The breakfast was delicious and had options. The sheets and pillows were great.

Was a good stay overall. Nice quiet place to stay, off the central road, which was nice. Checking in was a longer wait than expected & they served the same exact breakfast everyday. But the breakfast was hot, plentiful & fresh daily. We had a great stay!

The hotel is very clean, and both pools are kept clean even though it's open 24 hours a day. It's worth noting the great effort they make to maintain a pleasant, safe, and clean environment. Thank you. The location is good for enjoying the attractions. The included breakfast was good, although it didn't have much variety, but it was still enjoyable.

We just returned home from staying at this property for the past three nights. I would definitely stay at this hotel again. It is in perfect location very warm and welcoming. Extremely clean. The only thing I did not care for about the property was the breakfast. There is no fresh fruit offered , muffins or regular toast.

The continental breakfast was the same menu both mornings and it was not very good. No fresh fruit option. Ran out of things a lot. Oatmeal was soupy. Felt very cheap quality breakfast.
