The room was a little small but the hotel was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. There is a washer/dryer on site that includes detergent in the price. Easy access to public transportation and a 7 eleven just outside was very convenient.

Great location, close to metro and bus station. Great hotel, very helpfull staff and clean. There is a convinience shop under the hotel which is great. Definitly a great place to stay if youre visiting Kyoto.

Nice location. Easy access to everything by city bus. Ten minute walk to bike rental shop. Hotel staff helped me make restaurant reservations by phone. Generous with towels. 7-Eleven next door with an ATM. First time to Kyoto by train? Skip taxi, use bus 9 or 28, hotel at Shiju & Hirokawa.

7-11 available just outside, close to buses and trains . Many restaurants nearby. Twin room on the small side but clean with air conditioning and a laundry room on second floor. There is also a room on second floor where you can meet with others, microwave, hot water, coffee and plenty of seating.

Relatively good location for the price. Room was small, as expected but we made it work for our family of four. The only thing I didn’t like what the community area is not open before 11am so we had to eat our breakfast in the room and couldn’t access cold water machine.

This hotel was decent but very bare bones. The room and bathroom are tiny. The beds are very hard and they give you one pillow. They don’t clean your room other than to empty the garbage and give new towels (only one per person). The hall and elevator area need a good vacuum. It was okay but probably wouldn’t stay here again.

Stayed here for 6 nights in early Dec and absolutely loved it. Though the room is slightly small, can’t complain with the super clean sheets and bathroom. They don’t serve breakfast anymore but there’s a convenient store downstairs and plenty of supermarkets/ food options around the area. Buses are convenient around kyoto so you can pretty much get anywhere from here. Will definitely recommend staying here!

普通のビジネスホテルです。部屋の清掃に不満ありです。ベッドの下からコンドームの袋が出て来ました。子供が見つけなくて良かった… 床に髪の毛が多く落ちている為、紙スリッパで歩いてるとスリッパに付いて来る。ティファールでお湯を沸かそうとしたら、中に爪楊枝ぐらいの長さの髪の毛が2本入っていて、気持ち悪かったです。清掃なしで外出した後、タオルを自分で取りに行かないと行かなかったのも、ドアノブに、かけて置くなどしてくれたら良いなと思いました。お値段は安かったですが、不満が残りました。

Photographs viewed while booking the hotel were deceiving. The room had no closet or drawers. Last five nights rooms were half price than what i paid. Very noisy room facing an intersection. I would not stay there again. Staff was excellent

Stay for 3 nights. New and clean hotel. Great location with 7 Eleven, Family Mart, Daiso and many restaurant around. Subway station just 10 minutes walk. And bus station is just outside of hotel. Not far away from Kyoto station.

Quite close to what seems to be a major shopping street (lots of brand name shops and Pokemon Centre, Nintendo store and a Disney store) all within about a 20min walk from the hotel. Close to a train station too.

Location is convenient to visit sites by bus or metro. A bit far away from jr station. We took Uber which was abt $13 to get to and from hotel, There is a coffee machine in the lobby area offers pretty good coffee, as a matter of fact, better than the other hotels we stayed in Japan.

O hotel é bom, ótima localização, facilidade no transporte de ônibus. Fica a 2,6 km da estação central de Kyoto, facilidade de locomoção de ônibus e a pé tbm, quem tiver disposição. Tem um seven eleven do lado do hotel, um Sukiya e obentoya perto, atravessando a avenida.

Sympa pour un court séjour, on est reste 9 jours. Au delà de 5 jours, l'hôtel ne nettoie la chambre qu'une seule fois, à vous de choisir la date au check-in. Pas de petit dej, mais il y a 2-3 restaurants à 5m de l'hôtel qui font le service assez tôt. La localisation est bien, au carrefour entre deux gares de lignes différentes qui vont permettra d'aller un peu partout.

Location is good, 3 mins walk to train station and bus is accessible to main tourist area. The shower is strong with massage points. Size of room is ok compared to Japanese standard room. We were eligible for one time service over 6 nights stay, service is fine but not detailed. We lost our laundry bag due to staff picked up with dirty towel. But staff did not speak English, unable to get it back. Bed and pillow are hard not comfortable. Short stay is ok, May not choose for long stay. Currently the restaurant is not closed too.

This was my first time visiting Japan and I'm glad I chose this hotel. The staff was both polite, helpful and English friendly which was a huge plus. Room was great, bed was firm, breakfast selection was wonderful. I would definitely choose to stay here again during future visits.

This is not a destination, it is a comfortable base to explore Kyoto. THERE IS NO Breakfast, restaurants, onsens and all those lovely Japanese perks. But if you have a JR pass, the JR bus from the station passes a few short blocks away and you are on a street worth walking to the end of it. Many things are close by and most of the rest accessible with the JR pass.
