Best Western Plus Chain of Lakes Inn & Suites

Great last minute stay! Well lit parking. Walking distance to a good restaurant, Ramshackles. They provide a nice variety of breakfast items.

This is the best hotel in Leesburg the only place I like to stay at when I’m here. I pay the extra money just because it’s a better hotel. The people are nice. The rooms are nice. It’s a great place to stay and I love the pool and hot tub

Not enough parking and the pool is not heated.

This place was perfect for our trip. We were fishing the High School Bass tourney. Parking was awesome. Room was clean. Wish we stayed for the entire weekend but had to move to a hotel with horrible parking that was farther from the ramp. I will be back here. Thank you.

Great cafe next door, firness equipment didnt work.

The start of a good stay is a warm welcome when you arrive to check in. A hello, a smile, a enjoy your stay, something. We got can I help you. I need id and a cc. Your in 313. Payed extra for pool, hot tub and breakfast. Cold tub, not working jets. Pool being worked on.

Staff was very hospitable. We accidentally broke a pool chair. Trying to put up an umbrella and the management was very kind about the situation said don't worry about it although we offered to pay for it. Would definitely stay again. Pool was immaculate but the hot tub I wouldn't get in for money. Lol

Only issue was water and hot tub never got hot. We also had the first morning it took forever for the shower to get even warm.

Overall, it was very good. However, the accessibility to the motel is somewhat limited. One direction is easy access but the other, you must go past it to a traffic light and make a u-turn. An accessible room was requested but the shower area was an in tub shower, not walk-in or wheel chair accessible. Being unable to lift foot and leg high enough to climb into the tub, a shower was not accomplished. Convenience to the restaurant was within easy walking distance, even with a walker. Recommendation: More ice machines. Only one ice machine on the 1st floor is very inconvenient for a 3-story motel. The buffet style breakfast was good from the variety of food presented to taste and sitting. Overall, it was a very good stay and we will stay again, especially with the selection in Leesburg and consideration of affordability.

They were doing roof construction, but that would end at 5:00. Everything was very nice.

The service was excellent and the old building was clean. The breakfast was manned cheerfully and efficiently. Two major drawbacks though bring the score down: no hot water and ants in the coffeemaker. There were no ants evident anywhere else, only in the coffeemaker.

There was a bug in my bed that appeared to be bed bugs. This is unacceptable and disgusting. They offered another room and with it being so late. We settled for that but I’m sure other rooms have this problem. They should have offered my money back. Additionally, room was smelly with a musty odor, lights missing bulbs, breakfast was unappealing so left to go to a restaurant. I would not recommend this hotel.

Visiting on business nearby Most of the staffs are not polite or made you feel welcomed, only the mature guy was nice. The room you can see doesnt get deep cleaned. The toilette tank had build up dirt and toilette bowl. When given rooms service i asked to clean it and it wasn't touch at all during my entire stay. I just used my clorox wipes Even requested sheet be changed. Hot tub was dirty. I wouldn't return, only if your looking for a short day or two stay just to lay your head.

It was great. Lots of space and the room was spotless. Very clean.

I woke up to a roach in my bed. I started screaming, packed up and left immediately because I felt like the roach had been in all my stuff. I notified the front desk and he said “oh well, I guess we need pest control” and didn’t even say oh sorry that happened. He seemed annoyed I was even bringing it up to him. I also told them the toilet paper was dirty and seemed like it had been rolled out and put back together by hand and he said, “we don’t replace toilet paper until we see everything has been used”. I just felt grossed out the whole time. Oh and you can literally hear everything from every room. A dog kept barking the entire night. Worst place I have stayed.

Hotel was very clean, staff was friendly and attentive

Overall was a good stay. Bed linens didn't get changed and room was vacuum the three nights we were there. The last night of stay whole hallway smelt of marijuana smoke. Even on check out the next morning you could still smell it in the hallway.

There were no enterance signs so it was very hard to find where to pull in to the property and where to exit. Front desk staff and breakfast staff were polite and the breakfast was decent. The room was musty and dirty. There was white crusty stuff all over the heavy outside curtain part that you can't draw closed and I'm praying to God it was food. The bathroom floor had dirt and grim on it that I was actually able to wipe away with a towel, so I know it couldn't have been mopped. To top it off the soap at the sink was open and used, with hair on it. We had to throw it out. I would not recommend and wouldn't stay here again.

Only problem was air conditioning. very noisy and not manageable. Otherwise clean friendly

The water did not get hot in room 202. It was barely luke warm. The thermostat on the wall does not control the temperature. It only tells room temp. The thermostat controls temp is on a/c unit near window. The bed was comfortable and the room clean. The front desk staff was kind enough to come to our room and get our temperature to our liking.

The bad is horrible!

The bed was to darn hard. Tossed and turned all night. Could not get a good nights sleep.

The AC unit was rattling so loudly we just turned it off and let the room get hot.

Air conditioning was problematic

The room with the jetted tube was really comfortable. The only problem was the taps on the jetted tub was loose. All three of them.

Front desk staff at night was unfriendly and unhelpful. Bed was not firm at all, and the sheets were old and would not stay on the bed. Bathroom overhead light was burnt out, and they would not fix it until the day we were checking out. The AC Unit was very noisy when it kicked on. We have had excellent stays at this hotel in the past. But this room was not up to par by any means.

Terrible experience hot water quit in first day. When asked about moving to another room the answer was no cause we booked for 2 days with hotels.com and said they didn't have any availability so it was a nightmare to say the least

The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was older but clean however showers for three days were barely warm, never hot. Also the breakfast was minimal yet they started taking it down early and not replenishing it at all. This to me demonstrates a Management not focused on a good customer experience. Whether you go down to get coffee or get food, at 7am or 9am, we pay the same room rate. So why show such disregard for those who follow the rules and show up during bfast hours and have picked over food, juice and coffee machine shut down, refrigerator items all removed or not restocked, waffle machine unplugged, etc. The little bit of money you are trying to save but not trying to serve all your patrons is not worth the bad impression and negative reviews.

Check in with the late night Women was much to be desired I found her to be extremely rude!!! Demanded my credit card for $100 hold for incidentals …what ? The night before at the Sheraton was $50….we are sleeping then getting up to leave…it was 12am…asked for a late checkout to be told to call in the morning 😳😳 she should be trained to be nicer and helpful, this is the 3 rd time staying at this property all others in the past were excellent, just saying!!

It took over 20 minutes to be seen and the check in was constantly interrupted by the clerk answering the phones. The hotel was dirty and the cleaning staff was loud early in the morning, playing loud music on their phones in the hallways. The hot breakfasts were undercooked and one person was available to keep up with restocking the food. For the price of the stay, the hotel was subpar.

I stayed at this hotel while I helped my stepmother pack her house/garage for her move, I came back to the hotel needing a shower. The first night the water was lukewarm but turned cold as I was finishing up. I didn’t think much of it and went to bed. The next evening, the water was cold (not even lukewarm). I called the front desk. I asked them if they tended to run out of hot water at night. They said no and apologized, but said they couldn’t move me until morning as no room was available. I went to bed without a shower. The next morning,I checked the water and it was hot. I discussed this with the front desk and since they denied this was ever a problem (and I had the problem two nights in a row), I asked to be moved to a different room, so I would be assured of a hot shower that night. I asked for the manager’s name and was told he would be in on Friday morning. I also called BW customer service. I had hot water the next two evenings in my new room. I checked out early Friday to go to airport. When I landed at my home airport (around 1pm), I called the hotel, but the manager had left for the day. They didn’t know how to reach him. I called the hotel to speak with manager again on Monday. He was not there, so I e-mailed him. I received no response after waiting two weeks. I again called BW customer service. I wanted to be credited for one of the nights’ stay. They offered a $50 (less than 1/2 of one night’s stay) credit by mail that I have still not received.

Hotel is very nice but the night staff is very unwelcoming and unfriendly. It's unfortunate bc it could be a lovely hotel.

Fruit was past its prime and items like peanut butter containers were hard and inedible.Thanks good the coffee was pretty good. Water in shower wasn't nearly impossible to control to be able to take a shower. Overall probably the worst Best Western I have stayed in.

Excellent front desk service from a lovely woman. The cleaning lady was attentive to my needs when asked. Neighborhood and surroundings a bit scary. My room had an odor in it that gradually dissipated; but it was quiet as promised and I was happy to have a good working fridge & microwave while doing my work. Thanks!

We travel fairly often and this time only needed a hotel for 1 night. We had a small dog and the pet fee was only around $27. Lloyd @ the frint desk when we checked in was FABULOUS. He remembers your name, very personable and will take care of you without a problem. The hotel was very reasonbly priced. Very clean, everything worked. The free breakfast was very nice and NOT a crappy one like some other hotels. The bed was very comfortable. I rarely write reviews so if i do its either because i was very impressed or there were all jinds of issues. In this case. VERY IMPRESSED. GIVE LLOYD A RAISE! You dont find people like him nowadays.

Service at this hotel goes above and beyond. I left something of value in the room and they called to let me know. I was about to board a flight and could not return to pick it up and they mailed it to the address on file, certified, to make sure I received it. That kind of customer service and goodness is hard to find these days.

Nice clean hotel with decent breakfast and a nice pool. And the price was very competitive also. But someone needs to train the front desk clerk who works overnight. Bad communications, surly attitude, and downright unfriendly. He’s probably a good kid. He just needs some training.

Nice room, staff very friendly and helpful.Only problem was getting out of property parking lot onto busy adjacent highway.

The breakfast was really good and lots of it. However, ease of entering and leaving the property was challenging--could not see the sign from 14th street.

The hotel is fine but this is an incredibly unsafe area. I am glad we are only staying one night. Would not recommend. Very sketchy.

Very quiet and clean room. Close to many restaurants and stores, some within walking distance.

The hotel was nice and convenient for our location. The staff was super nice.... the room was perfect for what we needed... clean, easy access, near restaurants. The surrounding area isn't the best but we felt safe and it was a great stay for one night.

This is a nice motel in a not so nice neighborhood. The hotel room was clean and nicely furnished. The free breakfast was good for the price. We enjoyed our stay but did not find the area it was located in appealing.

We stayed here during the softball tournament. Property was clean it is dated the room was clean. Bathroom was clean. Staff was very nice. The only problem I had was breakfast was from 630 to 930 and it was very limited during that whole time.

We stayed here 3 nights, no issues at all. Breakfast was tasty with a variety. We did not use the Pool, or Hot Tub, they did not look very clean. Would stay again

The staff was great, the breakfast had a good variety and the yogurt & coffee/ latte machines were my favorite!! Super comfortable beds that were welcoming after working the event I was in town for!

The only negative during our stay was the breakfast window. On a weekend, breakfast should be later than 9:30.

She was nice. But the overall experience was awful. Breakfast was horrible too. We had to get it out because the one provided by the hotel was old and cold. The room was super dirty. The floor was sticky and dirty and bathroom as well. We had to call to change the bedding sheets because they were dirty too. It was an awful experience. We stayed because we were evacuated because of hurricane Milton. And availability was limited and have 3 kids that were so tired and we couldn’t drive like that anymore. :( plus the AC wasn’t cooling enough. Horrible night!! :(
