The WiFi is an unsecured open network. My phone and laptop gave a scary warning that the router was not configured to use WPA2 (AES) or WPA3 security, whatever that means. The front desk gentleman told me that the WiFi requires a password and so was safe, but I've never had such a warning from my devices in any other hotel WiFi on my trip so I was reluctant to use it. The hotel neighborhood looked a bit desolate upon arrival, the outside a bit run down, and reception had an odd smell. However, inside, the hotel rooms are clean and cheerful and modernized, and I found the firm bed comfortable. You will hear periodic traffic noise and sirens so it's not ideal for light sleepers.

The whole was clean, though very dated, was comfortable to stay at. The location was great and near many restaurants.

The gentleman that checked us in was very friendly. Based on the room placement, I questioned if there would be a lot of noise but he assured me that there wouldn’t be. Unfortunately, the was a lot of street noise throughout the night through to the next morning. Also, the website says that the room has blackout curtains and it does not. Needless to say, we didn’t get a great night’s sleep.
