Anelli Hotel

A very friendly and relaxing hotel, very clean in a quiet area, the bar and lounge area are very friendly so are the staff well worth a visit.

Bright modern hotel with lovely rooms and very polite staff. Lovely continental breakfast. Reasonable bar prices. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

This is a lovely, independently owned hotel. I always book room 3 as it has a private, outdoor space. The air con is excellent. It’s nice and quiet and the staff are really lovely.

Lovely 1 night stay, lovely welcoming family run business. Fantastic continental breakfast well above what we expected. Plenty of parking, pay and display outside the hotel or free street parking a couple of minutes away. Air conditioning in the room, We will definitely be back.

Absolutely amazing stay at the Anelli hotel. A Fantastic host who allowed us to check in one hour early, booked us a table at an Italian restaurant and also allowed me to park my motorcycle on his property. Rooms a long with the bar were modern, clean & really comfortable. Would really recommend staying

Fantastic stay in a very comfortable room with outside terrace. The hotel is well situated in a quiet part of town but just a few minutes from Lord Street and the promenade . Lovely Italian owner who provides an Italian themed Continental breakfast. Beds are very comfortable and rooms have large TV and powerful showers. Recommend to all, have disabled access too and a lovely bar

We stayed here for 1 night and the hotel is beautiful. It was clean and the air con in the room was fantastic! Everyone at the hotel were very friendly and helpful, the garden terrace with the room looked magical lit up at night. The location is great just minutes walk away from everything, I would very highly recommend this hotel and the price was cheap compared to other places.

We've stayed at the Anelli a few times now. As frequent visitors to Southport, we have found the Anelli to be quite possibly the best hotel on offer in it's price range. We always book the superior double room, which is spacious, clean and airy, with an excellent en-suite. The room comes equipped with a dressing table, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, wardrobe with safe and a large tv mounted on the wall. There is only parking for 2 cars on the property, but there is ample paid parking on the road outside the hotel, with blue badge holders not having to stay. The bar and breakfast area is very nice, with a fullly equipped bar. Breakfast is a continental offer, with cereals, yogurts, fruit and a basket with pastries, croissants, cheese, ham and salami. Toast is cooked fresh on request. It has to be experienced to appreciate how good the Anelli is. It truly is Southport's little gem.

The whole experience from check in to leaving was exceptional Adriana and Roberto are amazing hosts The room was beautiful and meticulously clean, the bar was amazing as was the atmosphere They couldn't so enough for us and we will be returning 100% recommend this beautiful hotel

We were probably unlucky but our stay on Saturday July 19th wasn't great. 1. Check in was a bit stressful as reception was unmanned and we couldn't find any staff. We had to phone the hotel to find a nice lady to check us in! 2. She warned us they had a noisy party that night. It didn't bother us as we got back after 11 that night and only had noise till about 11.45. But it wasn't ideal and the warning came a bit late for us to be able to do anything! 3. The drain in our shower was smelly. As no-one was around to report it to I just dealt with it myself by chucking a couple of kettles of boiling water down. It seemed to do the trick. But it may well need a bit of attention. 4. Breakfast on Sunday morning was pretty grim. The man on duty was clearly fuming as staff hadn't turned up for work that morning. He made us feel a nuisance by daring to ask him for some toast and then some more coffee! But it wasn't our fault that - unlike most hotels - the Anneli didn't have a buffet help yourself system! We had to ask. We felt customers shouldn't have been punished because he was cross. Also the supermarket sort of bake your own croissants we were given seemed to take an age to prepare. Even then they weren't really properly cooked. To be fair ...after the late member of staff arrived... the grumpy breakfast man started trying to be a bit nicer. I think he may have realised he was wrong to make guests feel so unwelcome. But the whole thing wasn't great at all.

Fabulous hotel, immaculately clean and really friendly host. Very handy for the town center. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Anelli hotel - we’ll certainly be back soon!

I can't speak highly enough of thi s hotel and bar. The owners were very friendly and helpful, the decor and comfort are excellent. We stayed in a family room, which is ,in fact, 2 bedrooms, and a bathroom. One room has a double bed, the other 2 singles. TV in both.Everything you could need is provided, and the bathroom is fabulous. Continental breakfast included too. We have already booked to return in a couple of months

Lovely boutique hotel in a quiet location but a stone’s throw from Lord Street. Comfy bed, clean, modern. Will definitely be back!

Feels & looks brand new. Clean and comfortable. We had a wonderful large private terrace with pagoda and small lights outside our room. Very well done new bathroom with great shower, lots of hot water. The room is elegantly decorated with a clean modern touch. Excellent continental breakfast with fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereal and a basket of assorted warm pastries, meats and cheese. Great service, very attentive and friendly. I would stay here again.

Beds very bouncy, prefer a firmer bed, but that’s personal taste. Continental breakfast. But all in all a very nice b&b with helpful and friendly staff.

Very modern and stylish hotel in a great location. Roberto was the perfect host and nothing was too much trouble. Excellent continental breakfast.

Fantastic place to stay. I even got a phone call as I was running slighter later than expected. Great service. They went out of their way to help me dietarywise and this made it exceptional

Booked last minute, on arrival there was an issue with the room which wss immediately dealt with and we were upgraded. Family business and they were very attentive and made us geel very welcome. Looks recently renovated and lovely. Would definitely recommend and definitely return.

For an extended or a brief stop in Southport, this hotel is an excellent choice. A few minutes from both the station and the coast, this gives you access to all the corners you are likely to want to visit in Southport. Great breakfast, too. Exquisite!

Hotel was a little gem my only issue only parking for 2 cars but could park across the road at cost. And i booked because it had breakfast but it didnt start till 8.30 as a contractor thats nearer dinner time lol. Over all lovely hotel
