All the staff that we interacted with were very nice, the place needs a good scrub down, fresh coat of paint, breakfast was ok, my husband has some mobility issues so the small bathroom was a little difficult for him, parking spaces were tight, it was nice to have an elevator since we were on the second floor

Room: -weird pool smell like chlorine, had to buy air fresheners - beds were comfy, had a coffee pot & microwave for leftovers we brought - bathroom was up to par - my bath towel had a stain Activity Center: - disappointing that you have to pay to play pool, but table was in amazing shape - old pool balls, the 1 ball was missing and was replaced by another solid 2 ball. -pool light that hangs above table is out, but lights for the gym made up for it -didn’t use gym, but could tell some of the equipment was broken (ecliptyl, leg press, etc) Parking Lot: -cramped

Stayed two nights, rooms are roomy, plenty of plugins, hair dryer in room. Quiet inside and out. No worries about people roamig the area outside or inside. They have washers and dryers available as well as a pool table. Offers breakfast. Will visit again !

A few of the machines in the weight room don’t work. Room was decent - carpet and bedspreads better than pictures but bathroom dated as in pictures. A little highway noise but Good value for the price.

I like this little hotel. I believe it is independently owned and there is clearly a "pride of ownership". The furniture is dated but functional. The breakfast is simple but same as other small hotels where I've stayed. The beds are comfortable and the linens are nice (both towels and sheets). The staff is very nice and accommodating. I have stayed here twice and will be staying here again.

The hotel was clean, the staff was very pleasant and the breakfast was adequate. It is a good value but it is not perfect. There are a few stains and bleach marks and the furniture is peeling. I would stay here again to save money.

The furniture was clean enough but the floors required attention. The carpeted areas had not been adequately vacuumed and the bathroom floor had not been wet mopped for a long time. After the first night the beds were not remade apparently guests do not like it when they remake the beds! Something I have never heard of before.

Highly recommend and would stay here again! My room smelled cleaner than any hotel room I've ever stayed in. Room was a little dated, but tidy, tasteful and spotless. Comfortable bed. Minor complaints were noisy plumbing when upstairs shower was used and a larger-than-usual gap under the door that let in a lot of light...easily blocked with a towel. Adequate breakfast with the usual options - I especially appreciated the hard-boiled eggs. Friendly and helpful staff.

We stayed two nights and had a hot tub room, we enjoyed our stay and it was the first hotel smart enough to put the hot tub room in the basement! I enjoyed the fact that we didn't hear any neighbors and our room was a nice place to relax. I've stayed in several places on that strip and I'd book there again. My only complaint was how tiny the shower was and how intense the water was in there but the big jetted tub was great. Nice staff and convenient location.

This is a great little motel. The room was very spacious, super clean, comfortable bed, quiet. AC/heat worked well. It had a surprisingly good breakfast with waffles, fruit, cereal, good coffee, packaged pasteries, juice, and more. More perks in the room include bedside tables on both sides of bed with lamps and power outlets, a desk plus a little table with 2 chairs, refrigerator, coffee maker. Staff pleasant, friendly. Good free parking. Stay here!

This was a great place for the price. Located just off the freeway but wasnt too noisy , unfortunately, the ac unit was and could not sleep with it on. Other then that it was a fine place to stay. Breakfast was decent with at least 2 of most things to choose from and i didnt.leavr hungry. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend this place or to stay again.

It was ok - definitely a "you get what you pay for" situation. The beds were ok, the pillows were flat and hard and the front desk guy begrudged you extras. The toilet ran off and on all night, the air conditioning was noisier than average. The worst part though was the front desk attendant at check in who threatened that if we ran, they would call the police - they have our credit card amd the room was paid for. No need to threaten.

I always stay here when I come and go through Bellingham, to get onto the Alaska ferry. Great rates, and most importantly close proximity to restaurants, grocery stores, etc.

It's a good location and close to everything. However if you are a light sleeper this isn't for you. You can hear everything walls are very thin and same with the ceiling. People come in at different times in the night and you can hear them. Good options for breakfast nothing fancy but you will find something you'll like.

The Business is out of the city center so a little inconvenient having to drive to sights. Surprised the I5 being so close did not cause any noise problem. But for anyone using the highway, convenient to access. As we like to walk in the evening, not very convenient for strolling. Other than above notes, the staff and conditions were very good for the price we paid. Parking and access to area was great. Although we did not use, there are many eating establishments nearby within walking distance. Would not hesitate to stay again.

Just a basic hotel to stay at on you way through Bellingham. Stay on the west side facing units to avoid I5 traffic noises if you open the windows.

Exceptionally clean 2-star motel with friendly staff. The building and rooms are dated and lack a few modern amenities like USB ports, but everything is clean and functional. Our room had 3 chairs, a table, desk, mini-fridge, microwave, and small drip coffee machine (with small disposable cups). The “continental breakfast” buffet was small with limited selection, but everything was kept stocked, and it more than met our needs and expectations. But bring a tray (under the coffee machine in your room) to the buffet so you can easily bring food back to your room; there is little room to eat in the tight buffet area (1 or 2 small tables), but there is plenty of room to relax and eat in your room. Bay City Motor Inn is a great deal for a low price!

Stay was good but the breakfast area was really small. Luckily there wasn’t a bunch of people staying at that time or it would have been virtually undoable. These hotels should understand that if you provide a good breakfast in a comfortable environment people will be way more contented and will come back.

This was a perfectly adequate 3-night stop for me, and an excellent value. The staff was nice, everything worked, and breakfast was adequate. It's not a spot for a romantic weekend. We often find even very upscale places with only one chair in the room. This was better: a small table with two chairs, and a desk with a third chair. Bed was comfortable, bathroom good. The area outside the motel is pretty stark. Parking lot front and back. No landscaping. Just fine for a place to sleep, but not a place to hang out.

The beds were very comfortable. the continental breakfast was a little weak. Waffle maker, nothing else warm like eggs, breakfast meat or potatoes. No microwave in room. there is a nice fridge and freezer for hotel room though.
