the Tel is steps from the ocean and has a lovely boardwalk with places to eat and drink very close by. Loved having a mini kitchen which had a fridge, microwave and sink. The only thing we missed were plates, would have appreciated a couple of plates but dollar store was a short drive away! Good size parking spot, lovely balcony to watch the many parakeets flying around! Nice covered area with a couple of loungers and chairs. Area was quiet at night. Enjoyed our 2 night stay, would recommend!

I wanted a reasonably priced room that was clean, had a kitchenette, was close to the beach, with parking, and within walking distance to various places on the boardwalk. I got all of those at the Tell!

It was wonderful to wake up in the comfortable king bed, have a Keurig cup of coffee , and then walk a half block to boardwalk/beach. Off street parking included in this beach neighborhood. Two lovely ladies onsite during the daytime to answer questions. Quick drive to airport and port; $20 - 25 Lyft rate but higher after hours. Keyless entry to room worked fine. Only drawbacks are the stairs to access 3 of the 4 rooms when carrying luggage up and down. And noises of doors closing as others come and go.

The only thing is that the picture on Expedia is not the same room that we got! The area is nice - beach and broad walk are right there - a couple of beach chairs in the room would have been nice - no one at the property- any communication was by phone

Would 100% recommend The Tel! They're so accommodating! Called in the morning to see if we could drop our luggage off until check-in. Not only did they let us drop our luggage off but they upgraded our room and let us check in early! Very clean and excellent location! Walk out the door and you're only a few steps from the beach! They also offered us beach towels, chairs and umbrella! Will definitely be coming back!

We really like the Tel, although the picture of the room that we were supposed to be staying in through Expedia was not the same. There is no one on site so you have to make a phone call which they did reply promptly. I did call somebody to let them know about our room and they said they would talk to management and get back to us, but I never heard of anything other than that property was very nice. It is very close to the beach (which they do not buy chairs for, and they should ) and you are on the boardwalk!! I would say there again because the price was reasonable!

The Tel was in an excellent location, one block from the boardwalk/ocean. We walked to all restaurants/bars. The room was newly renovated, modern, large, perfectly clean, very comfortable. Bathroom was large, great shower & sink area. Nice area for micro, coffee maker, refrig. Balcony (2nd floor) was a nice place for morning coffee/tea (provided). Owner was available by phone if we had a question. We were VERY pleased to have chosen to stay here. Would highly recommend and would stay here again.

This place is quite nice for what we used it for. We stayed one night while waiting to board a cruise. Check in was easy (all online) and that went smoothly. The location is outstanding! Steps away from the beach and shops and restaurants. We really loved strolling down and having coffee on the sand. But speaking of coffee… there’s a keurig in the room but they only provided French vanilla or caramel macchiato coffee pods. Not my style. I definitely feel they should’ve provided a regular coffee option and you shouldn’t have to request that. The room was very clean. Although I could do without the 20 or so small room air fresheners they had everywhere. Was a bit overpowering. Maybe it would stink without them?? Can’t say. Either way, would definitely stay again and bring my own coffee!

We stayed on the first floor of the Tel. The noise from the couple staying above was minimal. We arrived at dinner time. Pay attention to the instructions provided as they are accurate, just a bit disconcerting as no one is on site and we had to read directions late in semi darkness after a long drive. It was also a bit strange to remote check in before arrival and put credit card details in a DocuSign but everything worked out. The place is spacious, clean and well ‘maintained. A two bedroom apartment with two full bathrooms and a full kitchen and living room. Located a block from the Hollywood beach walk and safe to walk on the boardwalk even at 11pm with others walking back to their hotels as well. Powerful showers with plenty of hot water and robust wifi. Comfortable beds. The only tiny setback was no written details found on wifi access. I emailed very late after dinner the first night and received a reply that night. Would highly recommend.

I awoke to the moans and groans of WILD SEX! Unfortunately I was not a participant. 😩. Walls are paper thin. Even the most moderate conversion was heard in the next room. Other than that the place was very nice. Bathroom was great. Bed comfy. Parking was nice!

The property was excellent. Check in was a breeze. Very spacious and clean and I love the full kitchen which was well stocked! Very quiet and quaint! Steps away from the beach. Manager was nice on the phone. I'll definitely stay here again!

We loved this place!! It’s so nice. Everything’s clean, and it’s in an excellent location! You can even order an in room massage! Everything is updated and very modern. The balconies from the second floor are fun for bird and people watching! Coffee and toiletries were very well stocked.

The Tel was a bit different of an experience from a traditional hotel (3 rooms and no onsite lobby/staff.) I would choose to stay again despite some little “quirks.” Here are my pros and cons for others considering the Tel.The cons are minor annoyances, mostly just lots of calls to the main number. Pros -Amazing location - steps from the beach -Parking space included -Beautiful, clean room - we had the presidential suite and it was plenty of space for my family of 5. Beds were comfortable, a full kitchen Cons -I was sent a survey to fill out multiple times in advance of our stay. It asked for a payment method and total amount to charge my credit card, even though I’d paid in full on hotels.com. It asked for our mini bar preferences, even though our room had no minibar. It asked for car license plate number even though I didn’t know that in advance because we were getting a rental, etc -On the day of our check in, we arrived early, so I called to see if we could get in. Although the room was clean and ready, they would not let us in 2 hours early without paying $50 plus taxes and additional fees. -Nowhere in my emails did it specify our room number, so I had to call. When I did, she told me the wrong room number and I spent several minutes attempting to enter our code at someone else’s door. Resolved after calling back -The umbrella that we rented was broken, but because there is no staff on site we were unable to get another. They did end up refunding us after several calls

The Tel was in an excellent location, one block from the boardwalk/ocean. We walked to all restaurants/bars. The room was newly renovated, modern, large, perfectly clean, very comfortable. Bathroom was large, great shower & sink area. Nice area for micro, coffee maker, refrig. Balcony (2nd floor) was a nice place for morning coffee/tea (provided). Owner was available by phone if we had a question. We were VERY pleased to have chosen to stay here. Would highly recommend and would stay here again.

I loved it. It was exactly what I needed during my stay. I was spending little time in hotel so the price was great. In addition, the parking included was a major plus for me. Check in was super easy and no interactions with anyone needed. The best thing about it is location, it’s simply steps to the beach. The room was perfect, clean, well stocked supplied (kitchen and bathroom). It was 10/10 for my needs - quiet, convenient, good price. Saying that, some people may find it a little “apartment like” rather than a hotel feel. But the rooms are perfect and exactly what I needed. Must visit Club Cafe for breakfast down the boardwalk.

Close to the beach, close to the port as we were coming home from a cruise. We wanted to get a good nights rest before our flight the next day. Very comfortable and convenient. A very short walk to the beach and restaurants. Very accommodating and friendly staff.

I stayed at The Tel the night before a cruise out of Fort Lauderdale and I came back to spend a night after I returned. Both nights were superb. Great location by the Broadwalk and good restaurants. I'll definitely go back, perhaps just to stay there and enjoy Hollywood beach. Thanks so much!!
