The staff were friendly and helpful. The elevator was terrifying. We had to use our phones for flashlights on the staircase. It was a quick walk to the Eiffel Tower.

The hotel is nice and clean. It's located within 5 minutes walk from a metro station, 20 minutes walking to the Eiffel tower. There are restaurants close to it. In general the hotel and location was good. The only thing I didn't like was that the elevator is really small. Two people at most, with backpacks. When we arrived with our luggage only one person at a time with his luggage could enter the elevator.

Had everything we needed in the hotel. Spacious, comfy beds, modern bathroom, easy check in and out. Water machine downstairs to refill our water bottles before setting off for the day. Didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment but would recommend staying here for the location, convenience and general practicality of the hotel

Great stay! Comfortable bed, nice temp in room even for warm weekend. Easy walk everywhere. Thoughtful of guests: tea snacks in afternoon and an access to refill water bottles anytime. Staff was friendly and helpful. Fair warning: the elevator is coffin-sized and fits only one person and one suitcase at a time but better than stairs with luggage. Staircase is dark is only thing wish was different.

Quiet boutique hotel in the 7th arr. with views of Invalides. Walking distance to two metro lines and bus stops. 10min walk to Champ de Mars and Eiffel Tower. Convenince store, cafés and places to eat nearby. We had a basic double room which was all we needed as we were out early and came back late. Room was clean and we had housekeeping service change our towels and tidy the room everyday. Washroom and shower were small but we managed. Air conditioner worked well. Room had a safe, coffee machine and hairdryer as well as small bottles of shower gel, shampoo & conditioner. Hotel offered breakfast for 15Euros as well as a free afternoon snack table at 2pm but we always ate out. This was a nice basic hotel (approx $200-$390) per night. Good if you are not looking for anything fancy and want to be close to a major attraction.

A lovely little hotel with great value for money. The staff was kind and courteous — they even offered to safely store our luggage while we waited for our room to be ready. The location is excellent, just a few steps from the Eiffel Tower and close to all amenities. A wonderful find!

Tudo muito bom, elevador, proximo a Aura Invalides, proximo a torre Eiffel (tem como ir a pé), tem filtro d'água e croissant na recepção. Gostamos bastante! Só um detalhe, mas nada muito importante, a banheira do banheiro não tinha como usar, pois o tampão do ralo fazia a agua vazar.

This is a smaller old hotel with a very tiny elevator that holds one person and one suitcase. It is not amenable to persons with disabilities. The bathroom had significant mold on the tiles around the bath tub and toilet. We arrived and there was no soap in the sink dispenser so we thought perhaps it was overlooked. The second night it still had not been replaced, which indicated the cleaning staff was not particularly attentive to detail. If the staff missed this basic item on two days, it made is wary of the thoroughness of the overall cleaning. The location is very central to tourist attractions. Would not likely stay there again.

We had bed bugs. And we were severely bitten. Room 208 was infested with bedbugs. I am requesting a refund. I wrote to the hotel to demand a refund. The wrote back and said it was approved and they notified Expedia. Please follow up.

This was our family's first trip to Paris, and we chose this hotel because of its proximity to major attractions. However, upon checking in, we noticed a strong, unpleasant odor in one of the rooms. The smell appeared to be coming from the toilet and had a strong, sewage-like odor. We tried flushing the toilet and opening the window, but the smell persisted. It was so overpowering that we couldn’t even rest. I contacted the front desk, and after about thirty minutes, a staff member came to inspect the room. She acknowledged the odor and said she needed to consult her manager. Later, she called to inform us that we could leave and find another hotel, as there were no available rooms to move us to. Unfortunately, it was already late, and we were exhausted from our travels. I was shocked by how poorly we were treated as guests. We had no choice but to spend the night in that room and checked out the next morning. I could not sleep that night with the bad odor in the room, and my daughter had very bad headache after that night. The experience tainted our trip to Paris. The only compensation offered was a free breakfast, which was not pleasant.

We arrived to find ants crawling all over the bathroom. We were assured they would be taken care of while we stepped out. We came back to find live and dead ants still all over the floor. The next day while on a tour, I received an email at 2:52 that we could be moved to a new room if I responded by 3:00. I was not checking my email then and an 8 minute window is ridiculous. We should have been given a new room without hesitation. We also had to ask for replacement towels after we cleaned the floor ourselves.

The room was quite small & the bathroom was very cramped but the reason I struggle to recommend this hotel to anyone visiting is for 1.5 days of our 2 day trip, the hot water was not running. No one informed us of this & there was no apology for this. When we submitted a complaint they offered us a free breakfast or 20 euros as a discount. In Paris, you’re walking around a lot in the day and not being able to wash after 8-9 hours of travelling/walking was very unacceptable

The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was lovely and they gave us a room with a balcony which was nice of them. The best part though, was the bed! It was like sleeping on a cloud, so so comfy.

Checkin went professionally and smoothly and we were pleasantly surprised by a beautiful view and balcony! Morning breakfast located in the basement looked plentiful but we didn't eat there. Negatives: No Washcloths/air conditioning temperature controlled by hotel was too warm and bedding too thick leading to many wakings due to overheating in the night/no hair conditioner. Overall, very good stay in excellent location.

Great location and rooms had everything you may need: hair dryer, A/C, towel warmer and comfy beds. Rooms are small, but if you can ask for a room that faces the street, you will be happier. We had one at the end of the hall that ended in 07, and it was quite crowded compared to the others in our party that got street-facing rooms.

It is in a nice location near the Eiffel Tower, provided a comfortable bed, and clean. However, the gentleman at the front desk was rude and unfriendly. They also gave us the wrong room that we had paid for and overcharged me for breakfast. I would pick another hotel based on rude and unfriendly attitude.

We love staying at Hotel de France Invalides! The location was absolutely perfect (close to the Ecole Militaire metro station and within walking distance of great restaurants and historical sites), and the neighbourhood was safe and clean. I’ve stayed at this hotel twice and have had a good experience with the exception of one afternoon at about 3 PM. I was laying in bed and a man literally knocked and then opened my door! He apologized and immediately left, but it made absolutely no sense as my room had already been cleaned for the day and he was definitely not housekeeping staff.

We stayed 4 nights, and while the triple room is quite small/crowded we had what we needed. There’s a kettle to boil water in the room, and a very small fridge. There’s also drinking water available to refill water bottles behind the reception which was very much appreciated. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location is amazing, right next to Hotel des Invalides. About 15-20mins walk from the Eiffel Tower, 6-7mins from metro stop.

Quiet boutique hotel in the 7th arr. with views of Invalides. Walking distance to two metro lines and bus stops. 10min walk to Champ de Mars and Eiffel Tower. Convenince store, cafés and places to eat nearby. We had a basic double room which was all we needed as we were out early and came back late. Room was clean and we had housekeeping service change our towels and tidy the room everyday. Washroom and shower were small but we managed. Air conditioner worked well. Room had a safe, coffee machine and hairdryer as well as small bottles of shower gel, shampoo & conditioner. Hotel offered breakfast for 15Euros as well as a free afternoon snack table at 2pm but we always ate out. This was a nice basic hotel (approx $200-$390) per night. Good if you are not looking for anything fancy and want to be close to a major attraction.

Would definitely recommend to others & go again!! Negative areas: Rooms were too small & so was the cupboard. Hardly a place to move or hang ur clothes. Not many choices of meat in the Breakfast Buffet other than pork.

The hotel was very good value for money. We had breakfast which again was good value for money. Overall excellent just had two grumpy encounters, the first when we went for breakfast there were not eggs or bread as I think it had been busy before we arrived, when myself and another lady asked about them we got quite an angry reply. But they did get more. Then when our room key stopped working the staff member was very sharp saying it was us, but then he banged his head on the door when it wouldn’t open for us. Would definitely stay again. Cocktails are really good and very cheap at €7 Rooms were very clean and a really good location, metro was a 5 min walk.
