If we ever go back to Paris, we will definately stay here again. We had a family room and had lots of space. Room was very clean and nice. Helpful and friendly staff that would answer all of our questions. The hotel has a nice garden, and is truly a peaceful gem in such a busy city. The location is perfect, near the Oberkampf metro station. The area is full of good restaurants, nice shops and bakeries, and has a different feel to it than more touristy areas like Montmartre.
If we ever go back to Paris, we will definately stay here again. We had a family room and had lots of space. Room was very clean and nice. The garden seating area was lovely and inviting. The breakfast buffet offered good, tasty variety. The property was well maintained. The staff was generally helpful and polite. The location was within walking distance of the Gare du Nord and the Marais. I did not like having to leave the key card each time we left the hotel and it was a little challenging for my disabled father to move around the hotel comfortably.

First - they do not use mattress protectors on the beds. While I didn’t see any evidence of bedbugs, the sheets were stained and had hair on them when I first got there. The walls are quite thin, especially if located near the stairwell. The room was definitely not what was pictured in the photos. I paid for the “superior” twin room and the room was far too small for two people to be comfortable, let alone open your suitcase. Front desk staff was rude when asking about the difference in the pictures shown online and the room I received. While it is conveniently located, I would not recommend, or consider staying here myself ever again.

We had an excellent stay at the Hotel Alhambra for our trip to the Olympics. Very close to the metro and lots of options of places to eat nearby. The hotel was very clean, the staff were very friendly and our room was comfortable. Would definitely return.

OK hotell for etpar netter. Veldig trangt, ikke plass til å åpne koffert på gulvet. Trangt, iskaldt bad. Vi bodde øverst med utsikt mot den lille hagen, så det var stille og rolig. Den første dagen ble ikke rommet ryddet, så vi måtte be om håndklær/dopapir selv. Frokosten var grei nok, men ikke mer enn det. Det fantes ingenting for matintolerante. Ingen te/kaffemuligheter på rommet. Safe på rommet. De vi traff av personale var hyggelige, og snakket engelsk. Hotellet ligger ca 30 minutter til fots fra Notre Dame, men det ligger en metro like ved. Vi måtte ta taxi for ca 1000 kr til flyplassen, siden det ikke gikk buss, og resepsjonisten mente metro ikke var en grei måte å komme seg dit på.., Vi kommer nok ikke til å velge dette hotellet neste gang.

The pictures are lying, the hotel is super simple and not at all cozy. Bed was very hard and the room so small I could not open my suitcase on the floor. Breakfast was absolutely NOT worth 15 euros. We were asked to pay for the breakfast cash, very odd. We asked them to book a taxi for us to the airport. We were told the price would be 70 euros. When it arrived it was all of a sudden 110 euros. There was no time to get another taxi. All in all a cheap hotel not even worth the money. Stay away. Paris can do better.

This is my second stay and there are definitely pros and cons. Good location right off the metro and walkable through the Marais area. Bedrooms are spacious by euro standards. Good bathroom. I like the tile floor vs having carpet. the street side rooms have no noise protection. But it is a seldom used street at night. I accidentally added breakfast buffet this time. It was clean and fine but I don't recommend adding it when there are better options nearby.

Breakfast buffet was great, hotel cleanliness was great, very affordable with metro and bus lines in close proximity. Many dining options and pharmacy in close proximity. Only criticism was that the air conditioner is on a timer making night-time sleeping very hot and sweaty. Many 2am-3am wake-ups to reactivate the air conditioner during our stay.

J'ai oublié ma liseuse dans la chambre, je m'en suis rendu compte le jour du départ mais j'avais quitté Paris. J'ai téléphoné le soir même, puis trois fois le lendemain, le gérant m'affirmant qu'il n'avait rien trouvé et qu'ayant fait mon check out, je n'avais aucun recours. A force d'insister il a reconnu l'avoir mais a refusé de me la renvoyer à mes frais. Heureusement une amie a pu aller la récupérer mais cette expérience me laisse un goût amer.

Chose this hotel primarily for the area, everything is walkable including the metro. The staff was very friendly and knowledgable. And the rooms were cleaned every day! If I came back to paris I would definitely book here again!

On the whole the hotel is great as was the service. Excellent location as metro is on the doorstep. My only issue is that as It was my sister’s 60th I asked the gentleman (he was the older man) at reception if they could do something small to surprise her like a cake at breakfast time but he was rather rude and just said no immediately. One receptionist wouldn’t give the name of the manager which I thought was weird. However I would like to thank the gentleman that was there on our last day as he went out of his way to provide us breakfast as we were leaving 7.00am (breakfast starts at 7.30am). He was very polite and helpful. The hotel was very clean and our room was very comfortable. Would’ve been nice to have tea/coffee facilities in the room as most hotels have them now. Also couldn’t understand why we had to hand out key in every time we went out but wasn’t really an issue as someone was always at reception. I would definitely stay there again and would recommend it.

We enjoyed our stay and the owner was nice and accommodated our requests. Our room was ready before the checkin time so we were able to check in an hour early. We were able to leave our luggage after checkout for couple of hours. The staff even mailed out post card

The breakfast buffet was included in the price of the hotel and it was a nice simple meal. The hotel was also very close to the metro, only about 2 min walk. There’s also a Filipino cafe next door and we had a delicious ube coffee from there. Overall a great place to stay, would recommend!

First - they do not use mattress protectors on the beds. While I didn’t see any evidence of bedbugs, the sheets were stained and had hair on them when I first got there. The walls are quite thin, especially if located near the stairwell. The room was definitely not what was pictured in the photos. I paid for the “superior” twin room and the room was far too small for two people to be comfortable, let alone open your suitcase. Front desk staff was rude when asking about the difference in the pictures shown online and the room I received. While it is conveniently located, I would not recommend, or consider staying here myself ever again.

I’ve stayed here many times over the years, from 2000 to 2025. Always reliable and friendly. I left my jacket behind in the room and they stored it for me for 6 days. So helpful!

Chose this hotel primarily for the area, everything is walkable including the metro. The staff was very friendly and knowledgable. And the rooms were cleaned every day! If I came back to paris I would definitely book here again!

If we ever go back to Paris, we will definately stay here again. We had a family room and had lots of space. Room was very clean and nice. Helpful and friendly staff that would answer all of our questions. The hotel has a nice garden, and is truly a peaceful gem in such a busy city. The location is perfect, near the Oberkampf metro station. The area is full of good restaurants, nice shops and bakeries, and has a different feel to it than more touristy areas like Montmartre.
If we ever go back to Paris, we will definately stay here again. We had a family room and had lots of space. Room was very clean and nice. Great staff. Very accommodating and helpful. The room and bathroom was a little tight for a family of four but we made it work. Location was excellent and in the heart of Paris near Metro, restaurants and tourist attractions.

Idéalement situé des sites touristiques à pied ou en métro. Il y a 2 stations de métro à 2 minutes. 25 minutes à pied de la Gare de l'Est et de la cathédrale Notre Dame. Le petit déjeuner est varié. J'étais au 5e et dernier étage avec une vue sur les toits. La chambre était suffisamment spacieuse pour les nuits. Je retournerai dans cet hôtel lors d'un prochain séjour sur Paris et je le recommande.

Solid hotel in Paris! Room was efficient and clean. The hotel's garden was lovely and breakfast was a nice spread. You can't beat this location: Metro stop on the corner, great restaurants, bars, bakeries nearby. A fun area to walk around!

Very convenient near metro and safe location. Lots of places nearby to eat. It was hard staying with two people and luggage in very small rooms. No ice machine and would not advise breakfast on site as it was expensive, had to wait for refill of food and very limited seating in breakfast area including outside garden.

Nice area, easy to get too via metro. Looks renovated. Breakfast is a bit scarce in terms of food variety, can’t recommend. Staff is Polite and accommodating. The room was small, nice mattress, poor pillow quality. It’s unlikely I’ll be back.

The pictures are lying, the hotel is super simple and not at all cozy. Bed was very hard and the room so small I could not open my suitcase on the floor. Breakfast was absolutely NOT worth 15 euros. We were asked to pay for the breakfast cash, very odd. We asked them to book a taxi for us to the airport. We were told the price would be 70 euros. When it arrived it was all of a sudden 110 euros. There was no time to get another taxi. All in all a cheap hotel not even worth the money. Stay away. Paris can do better.

OK hotell for etpar netter. Veldig trangt, ikke plass til å åpne koffert på gulvet. Trangt, iskaldt bad. Vi bodde øverst med utsikt mot den lille hagen, så det var stille og rolig. Den første dagen ble ikke rommet ryddet, så vi måtte be om håndklær/dopapir selv. Frokosten var grei nok, men ikke mer enn det. Det fantes ingenting for matintolerante. Ingen te/kaffemuligheter på rommet. Safe på rommet. De vi traff av personale var hyggelige, og snakket engelsk. Hotellet ligger ca 30 minutter til fots fra Notre Dame, men det ligger en metro like ved. Vi måtte ta taxi for ca 1000 kr til flyplassen, siden det ikke gikk buss, og resepsjonisten mente metro ikke var en grei måte å komme seg dit på.., Vi kommer nok ikke til å velge dette hotellet neste gang.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the rooms and public areas clean and the bed very comfortable. The lovely garden is a particular feature of this hotel especially as it is available for breakfasts in good weather. My only reservations are the lack of a kettle and tea and coffee making facilities ditto a fridge. That would lift this hotel to the next level especially in hot weather.
