I'm glad that I stayed at The Castle Hotel finally. It was very pleasant! My room was spacious and had nice views out of the windows, the bed was comfortable, the staff were pleasant. It wasn't right in the middle of Aber, so it was quiet (minus the noise from the car racing - but I had a great view for it). Easy walk right down to the sea. The only drawback was not having a lift, but that is pretty common and my fault for having a heavy suitcase! I would definitely stay again.

Room was a good size and clean. Bed was a little hard for us. Bar was nice, staff were helpful and it was really well placed for the town and pier. Good value for money.

It is above a pub and someone was literally being sick on the pavement right next to the car as we arrived! The room itself is quite well sound-proofed, but bear in mind it is above a pub which closes at about 1-2am. The camp bed provided as the additional single bed had very weak springs which meant my body was hitting the bars below, making it unusable for sleeping. The large bed itself was good however, so if you only want that then it may be fine. It was very expensive overall, which meant it was not good value, especially given the above issues. Parking is also extremely limited, so you are unlikely to find a parking place anywhere nearby.
