Holiday Inn San Antonio N - Stone Oak Area by IHG

The room was fairly clean but the bathroom needed a detailed deep clean, there were still hairs from other guests on the shower wall, counter and one found on the little flower design they did on the toilet paper rolls. The shower walls were also gunky underneath the shelf for soap and shampoo bottles and the room had a terrible mildew smell that was overwhelming. We stayed on the second floor where there was some construction being done on the area that lead out to the patio and it must've been completely open because the hundred degree heat outside could be felt into the hallway as soon as you exit the elevators. We didn't use the pool but apparently it was out of service because a pump went out and the family checking in before was was very upset because they had their children with them and they were looking forward to using the indoor pool but couldn't. Our bathroom only had 1 bath towel and 1 wash cloth even though we booked the reservation for 2 adults, the young, male employee at the desk seemed completely confused when I asked for a towel and a "wash cloth". He literally didn't know what a wash cloth was. They really need to read their reviews and work harder on their property maintenance, quality control and staff training if they want to remain a respected hotel. My husband and I stayed here last Thanksgiving while visiting family in San Antonio, decided stay again since we enjoyed our last stay but both agreed that we would rather not return here again.

The staff was great. Our was clean and location was good. However, construction was going on, the pool was closed, and the gym wasn't up to par.

Overbooked couldn’t check in @9pm

Just wanna say the breakfast is great and hot parking. Space was great. The staff was great too very much impressed. We use them again soon.

Would not stay here again.
