This is the hotel where we most often stay when snowboarding at Winterplace. It’s convenient to the interstate for our drive to the slopes. We always bring our bathing suits to enjoy the pool yet often fail to do so being worn out from riding. It’s about a 25 minute drive to slopes and always consistent accommodations.

We had an awful experience. There was no coffee made for breakfast, a post it that said “out of creamer” , nothing ever restocked for breakfast. We had 4 people and two towels, room was NOT clean and the air conditioner made a loud noise when it was running. The beds need to be replaced. Very lumpy and uncomfortable. The pool water had a yellow tint with balls of hair at the bottom of it. This place is disgusting!

Our bathroom sink was cracked, towels and wash rags were dirty and smelled awful, there were pillows missing the light and tv was on like someone had just been in there. The place was very dark as you approached the parking lot. You couldn’t see the building very well. They had frozen pizzas you could warm up in the microwave for breakfast and no sugar for your coffee in the rooms or at the breakfast area. There was trash sitting out across the hall from our room and the carpet was filthy. Towels were not folded. Just thrown up on the rack. Do not stay at this hotel! We have stayed at various other Microtel Inns before but this was the worst!! Health department needs to walk through this place. BBB needs to be notified.

Fell on the black ice that had accumulated in parking area and was not well lit. Manager said that maintenance hadn't done well salting much earlier in the day, so she then had to go out and salt it herself after I fell.

They overbooked the number of suites they had so by the time I checked in I was charged for a suite but only received a room with a queen bed (basic room) they showed didn’t work and they elevator smelled like vomit

The staff was wonderful. Helpful, accomodating and fun. Only 2 complaints..we were in a handicapped room. Great for my 82 yr old Mom. The toilet moved when you sat on it. Made my Mom feel very insecure. I tried to squeeze some toilet paper under the bottom to stabilize it. My other suggestion is to put a mirror over by the blow dryer. The blow dryer is clear across the room! OR..put an outlet by the sink. Most lodging has a GFI outlet near the vanity for curling irins, shavers, blow dryers, etc. The parking was a bit of a challenge too. We need a handicapped space and there aren't many. Otherwise, we loved the beds, good selection of TV channels and very quiet.

I wish I could upload the pictures we showed the staff of the crumbs, body hairs and even dead bedbugs we discovered once we pulled the sheets back on the beds. They didn’t seem surprised at all. After 5 minutes in the room we asked for a refund and checked in at another hotel down the street. The desk staff was apologetic and refunded our payment with no arguments whatsoever. This particular room, general property appearance and house keeping staff is a disgrace to the Wyndham name, which has not generally been my experience with the brand.

I have never visited the Microtel before in Princeton. I always stayed at the Holiday Inn nearby. But read the reviews and decided to give it a try. On arrival staff member Jennifer welcomed me, signed me in and gave me great directions to my room and facilities. The room was very clean with a message on the notepad with a warm welcoming message. My room was excellent. Clean and for sure no previous smoker. It was not as big as the Holiday Inn but it was perfect for me. The TV was easy to work, the bathroom was impressively clean. I am not a breakfast eater so I cannot comment. I am a new customer. Thank you Microtel for a pleasant stay.

Dirty bedding (wrinkled and fecal on the pillow case), filthy room and freshly patched white mud everywhere on the walls from holes. Can hear every conversation from other rooms and arguments from people in the hall. Immediately checked out and requested a refund and stayed somewhere else.

We got there at 8:30 pm and our room and several other peoples rooms weren’t ready. I realize people are short staffed but this was ridiculous. One of the room staff was constantly texting while there were 4 of us in the hall waiting on our rooms. Slowing down the process while constantly chatting with other attendant which was interfering with her work and she was trying hard to get things done. I waited half an hour in the hall to be changed to another room that they said was ready. We had to go looking for the blanket on the bed and in the morning we had no towels. The room was only slightly larger than a jail cell and the decor was from the 70’s and looked as if it hadn’t been changed since then. The room wasn’t dirty but where it looked so old it made it seem unclean. The staff made no attempt to make an compensation for our inconvenience. Would not stay there again

Front desk staff was nice. Condition of room was nowhere near the cost. Food was left in refrigerator. Door lock did not align so was not secure during the night. No towels in the room, had to ask. Rooms were still being cleaned at 6pm. The walls were so thin that i geard the ajoining room's tv and alarm clock as though they were in ny room. Save your money - fo somewhere else.

Upon entering the lobby, I overheard other guests complaining about issues with their reservations. Despite this warning sign, I proceeded with check-in as my group was exhausted from a long road trip. However, only one of our three rooms was ready when we arrived at 4:40 PM, and even after waiting in the lobby for an hour and a half, the rooms were still not fully prepared. The maintenance employees were overwhelmed, and one even kicked us out of our room when we pointed out some unfinished details. The "clean" towels were damp and musty, and there were no glasses or even an ice tray bag in the room. Furthermore, at 11:45 PM, my mother-in-law was startled by a man who walked into her room as it was mistakenly given to another guest. The hotel's management seemed to be absent, and the overall experience was very disappointing. Avoid this hotel if possible. Higher management in this hotel fully failed their employee, as the desk employee who checked us in at 4:40PM was still working when we checked out at 7:30AM, all staff member looked extremely exhausted and doing multiple different jobs at once.

Lady on check in seemed more interested in the guy in the back than taking care of customers. We didn’t get a suite we reserved and she didn’t tell us until we called about it. Room didn’t have a TV remote and she said she would bring it up and never came. Room floor was unswept. Toilet paper holder was broke. Nail polish all over the trash can. Room key wouldn’t work on day 2, had to go back downstairs to get it redone. There were a lot of folks getting their keys redone. Girl at the desk on day 2 was much nicer.

I have never visited the Microtel before in Princeton. I always stayed at the Holiday Inn nearby. But read the reviews and decided to give it a try. On arrival staff member Jennifer welcomed me, signed me in and gave me great directions to my room and facilities. The room was very clean with a message on the notepad with a warm welcoming message. My room was excellent. Clean and for sure no previous smoker. It was not as big as the Holiday Inn but it was perfect for me. The TV was easy to work, the bathroom was impressively clean. I am not a breakfast eater so I cannot comment. I am a new customer. Thank you Microtel for a pleasant stay.

We will not be staying at a Microtel in the future. Everything is too minimal. No soap at the sink. Toilet paper roll less than half left and no back up roll. No blow dryer. No tissues. We paid for breakfast, but it was not worth it. No juice. We took a muffin and coffee and left.

This is the hotel where we most often stay when snowboarding at Winterplace. It’s convenient to the interstate for our drive to the slopes. We always bring our bathing suits to enjoy the pool yet often fail to do so being worn out from riding. It’s about a 25 minute drive to slopes and always consistent accommodations.

So in short, the place needs some updates, but the staff was nice and courteous. The beds were comfortable and clean. The floors needs to be vaccuumed, but you can tell that a lot of the guests that stayed there were not concerned with how dirty their boots were. There is visible wear and tear all over the hotel and its in need of some upkeep. The breakfast was clean, but really small. The coffee left much to be desired. Its located right next to a strip club, but the noise wasnt a problem. Fire alarm went off in the middle of the night for about 15 sec. and then turned off. In an ideal location off the highway, but overall quiet. The staff was nice, but you could tell that they were not able to keep up with the demand of cleaning and running the place when it was really busy. I would stay here again since the price was fair, but dont expect too much frills.

In need of a remodeling. Very dated and therefore looks unclean. Hallways needed vacuuming and room bedding was very old. Not the worst but won’t stay here again. The first room they gave me was a handicap room that seriously looked like a prison cell. I do not recommend their handicap room if that is what you are requesting. However the waffles were great but they didn’t even have coffee made.

Staff at check-in were dressed as street casual and seemed confused about my booking as if they had no reservations at all. It seemed as if I was lucky, they had a room available. Breakfast started at 6am, I was there at 610am, and all the coffee was gone, and they had one muffin and not much else.

Clean hotel conveniently located with large rooms. But they appear to be having staffing issues and there was no one at the front desk or attending the continental breakfast area in the morning (no coffee!). This does appear to be the case for the entire area as the local restaurants were also understaffed. So I suppose I can't hold it against them...
