The hotel is absolutely lovely and the food excellent with lots of choice. Service was first class and everyone is really friendly and welcoming. There are 3 pools in the hotel and you can snorkel on the coral reef just off the hotel beach. The spa had a lovely sauna, steam room, hot tub, warm outdoor pool and gym. Massages are really good value and excellent. We got a deal for 5 massages each for $40 each. That’s about half the price of the uk.

I have visited Sharm many times, but this hotel continues to stand out as the best. It is peaceful, elegant and designed for genuine relaxation. The grounds are lush and welcoming, and the sunrise over the Red Sea is truly spectacular. The beach is clean and calm with excellent snorkelling, and there are always plenty of sunbeds available, even later in the morning. The pool area is spotless, well organised and ideal for cooling off or enjoying a quiet afternoon. My room was comfortable and very well maintained, with granite bathroom finishes that added a touch of quality not often found in standard hotel rooms. The food throughout the stay was consistently excellent. The buffet offered a wide range of fresh dishes, including breads, soups, appetisers, a carvery, pasta, salads, themed evenings and an outdoor barbecue every night. Breakfast was another highlight, with fresh-squeezed juices and good coffee, all carefully prepared and far better than the usual bland all-inclusive choices. What truly sets Stella di Mare apart is the staff. Everyone is friendly, smiling and eager to help, creating a warm, relaxed atmosphere from the moment you arrive. I would particularly like to mention Mr Salah at reception for his welcoming professionalism and for the many things he did to make my stay so pleasant. I will definitely be back.

Overall a very nice hotel, with 3 different swimming pool areas, activities during day and evening and 3 different restaurants. I'm not impressed by the food, but it was ok. The equipment in the beauty saloon, are outdated. When they wash your hair, you have to lay down in an aqward position, because they cannot adjust the sink. And the bench was uncomfortable, when I had a facial treatment. The girl also put cream on my eyes, so I couldn't open them after treatment. I had to ask her if I could wash off the creme. The spa operated with old price list (in Euro) So I was given a price in Euro, but they charged me in British pounds.That's a big difference. But I got a "free" massage when I told them that I had paid 50 Euro more than I shold have.

There was nothing not to love about this hotel. Friendly staff, varied and delicious breakfasts, a house reef to keep the most avid of snorkelers entertained, spacious clean rooms ( a bit dated but everything works ). Loved the location, slightly out of the hustle and bustle of Naama Bay but close enough to walk to. Every external taxi driver we used commented on the Stella di Mare being a “very good hotel”, I guess their clients all rave about their stays at the Stella Di Mare and rightly so.

Very nice hotel in perfect location. The staff was incredibly helpful all the time. The room allways clean and had good space. The food was OK, but not fantastic. For instance we would like icecream for dessert sometimes, this was never offered. The good icecream you must buy as an extra, even if you are on all inclusive. They served "sushi" for dinner one day. This is the worst sushi ever. Apart from that, food was OK. The hotel is dominated by russian guests. In our poinion not allways the most polite and nice people, and many of them reluctant or not able to speak english. The gym is OK, although not everything is working, and both threadmills warn about needing service, but the staff doesnt fix it.

Ha sido una estancia fabulosa, el hotel tiene todo lo necesario que puedas necesitar. Está muy limpio y el personal es súper amable y servicial. Además de tranquilo, tiene justo en la playa una barrera de coral increíble. Sin duda recomendaría este hotel para unas vacaciones tranquilas a todo confort.

Nicely kept hotel. Lovely grounds and beach front location. Staff very helpful and friendly. Good hotel facilities and nightly entertainment was good. The staff actually made available the conference room for us to watch football on their big screen. Nothing seemed too much to ask for. Food was amazing. All inclusive was the best option. The hotel is fairly dated and could use with some modernization for example there was a shortage of mains power sockets and what were available were of mixed type. Also there is a tendency to be approached frequently while on the hotel grounds (by the pool or beach etc) by reps trying to sell their services such as spa treatment or trips which does become a bit annoying as the selling tactics in Egypt are a bit on the "enthusiastic" side. We did succumb to one of the reps who sold us a scuba diving trip and we were very glad we did do it as the experience was fantastic. All in all we would definitely book to stay in this hotel again.

The room service is smazing,spotlless clean, they make decorations with towel and flowers. The food is exceptional, each day different cuisine, multiple varieties of meat, chicken, fish, desserts and fruits. There is always fresh BBQ at dinner, in addition to, regular beef stew dishes,fish, and chicken, soup. The staff are so polite, very helpful,always smiling

The hotel is clean the staff very friendly. The staff are constantly cleaning the whole hotel. The food was very good with two speciality restaurants. The hotel could do with some upgrading but that doesn't detract from the fact it is a friendly hotel next to Naama bay

We stayed at this hotel for 10 nights for our anniversary (all inclusive , sea view room) To start with the reception staff who were very poor and helpless, Not very pleasant to deal with and always felt like they was not willing to help (manager had to get involved couple of times to help) The breakfast is good and fair selection likewise evening dinner good selection with fresh BBQ outside (only downfall I would say is it can get repetitive as same food everyday also to mention there is a lot of seafood options so if you don’t like seafood be aware!) The room itself had a pleasant balcony with a really good view, the bed was extremely comfortable and overall nice and clean. Bathroom could do with an update as slightly dated. The hotel has 2 pools, both which are excellent and the pool bar staff are very nice and welcoming. Pool bar also do food which was the best food at the hotel to be honest. Location wise, more or less everything is in good distance by taxi. If you are looking for a chilled out beach resort with hardly any children running around and some peace and chilled time then I would recommend Stella di mare. The outside area of the hotel is lovely right on the sea front and excellent for some downtime.

CONS: lots of stairs if you have mobility issues for beach area. £1.59 for quality ice cream even though we were premier all inclusive customers beach towels are chargeable ($50 ) if mislaid or left accidentally somewhere- its ridiculous wifi is 9.7 mbps which is very poor only TWO useful sockets in rooms - inadequate taxi service from hotel lobby, RIP-OFF PROS: staff were awesome food and beverages- awesome hotel lobby- awesome rooms with beach view -awesome entertainment - awesome very quiet and peaceful after 9:30 pm- awesome location from airport- awesome

Veniamo spesso a Sharm e abbiamo visitato tutti i resort più belli e tra tutti Stella di Mare è il numero 1 per il panorama mozzafiato che ti offre. Noi avevamo una camera panoramica ad angolo al 7° piano e la visita era indescrivibile. MERAVIGLIOSA!!! La struttura è diversa dalla maggior parte dei resort di Sharm, è più simile ad un albergo, non ha una grande estensione territoriale e quindi ristorante, piscine e mare sono tutti a due passi. Il personale è cordiale e gentilissimo. Per quanto riguarda gli aspetti migliorabili sono il letto, che era estremamente morbido, anche se hanno cercato di venirci in contro mettendo una tavola sotto il materasso il letto è rimasto il nostro nemico. Il ristorante a buffet internazionale è nella media dei ristoranti di questo tipo a Sharm, cioè la maggior parte dei piatti non sono affatto invitanti ma trovi sempre quei due o tre piatti, soprattutto alla griglia, che risolvono la tua indecisione. Assolutamente negativi, invece, i ristoranti a la carte. L'arredamento delle stanze e il colore scuro del tanto legno presente nei corridoi creano un'atmosfera un pò datata. In conclusione, il rapporto qualità/prezzo è spesso interessante e quando si trova una buona offerta è da prendere certamente.

Great holiday, food was good, staff couldn't be anymore helpful. Hotel in lovely spot. nama bay is around 10-15 minute walk or get hotel shuttle bus. We had family room, good size 2 bedrooms, hotel put extra bed in room for second child. Would recommend and look forward to coming back !

Nicely kept hotel. Lovely grounds and beach front location. Staff very helpful and friendly. Good hotel facilities and nightly entertainment was good. The staff actually made available the conference room for us to watch football on their big screen. Nothing seemed too much to ask for. Food was amazing. All inclusive was the best option. The hotel is fairly dated and could use with some modernization for example there was a shortage of mains power sockets and what were available were of mixed type. Also there is a tendency to be approached frequently while on the hotel grounds (by the pool or beach etc) by reps trying to sell their services such as spa treatment or trips which does become a bit annoying as the selling tactics in Egypt are a bit on the "enthusiastic" side. We did succumb to one of the reps who sold us a scuba diving trip and we were very glad we did do it as the experience was fantastic. All in all we would definitely book to stay in this hotel again.

There was nothing not to love about this hotel. Friendly staff, varied and delicious breakfasts, a house reef to keep the most avid of snorkelers entertained, spacious clean rooms ( a bit dated but everything works ). Loved the location, slightly out of the hustle and bustle of Naama Bay but close enough to walk to. Every external taxi driver we used commented on the Stella di Mare being a “very good hotel”, I guess their clients all rave about their stays at the Stella Di Mare and rightly so.

This is our fourth stay. It’s your best bet for the money in Sharm. Beautiful property and the friendliest, most helpful staff on the planet (we travel almost non stop). Perfect airport pick up. The food isn’t amazing but solid and plenty of it. The rooms are getting a bit dated and could use some refreshing. My only real complaint is the internet is awful. Be sure to have an international plan on your phone. Overall highly highly recommend. No better value around.

The reception staff were very rude and unprofessional, and they are not qualified to provide a good level of service for this hotel. However, the cleanliness was excellent, and the management was understanding and quick to solve any issues. I really hope they find a solution to improve the reception service. Honestly, I will not repeat my stay at this hotel.

To be clear, this is a nice hotel with good facilities and an attentive staff. But their draconian checkout procedures almost caused us to miss a flight that would have had catastrophic (expensive) after-effects. Running late for a very early morning flight, and after checking out and sitting in the taxi, we were surprised that he wouldn’t leave. The reason? He was awaiting the reception to tell him they had checked the rooms before he could leave the hotel! I know that Egypt is a different animal, but I’ve never encountered anything like this before. They knew we had a tight timeline and they could have sent someone to our rooms well before we boarded the taxi - but they didn’t. We are a family group of all adults and no kids. Not party types (it’s not that kind of hotel) so I’m not sure what the “room check” was supposed to be for. Net result was we made our flights and bags made it to Cairo and Larnaca, but I won’t stay there again.

Outstanding in every possible way. The quality of the staff's attention to detail is something i've not encountered elsewhere. The bedlinen, the food quality and variety and above all the warmth and kindness of all staff even at the busiest periods under pressure. I extended me stay twice and will be back!

Superb service, would definitely stay here again and recommend to others. Visited the place with my father, and super impressed with the quality of the service from concierge to the cleaners, from reception staff to restaurant managers and waiters. Names we remember: Bishoy Nandy, Mahmoud El Hoseny, Hany George, Ahmed to name just a few. Chefs, waiting staff just really welcoming too. Waleed in the perfume shop also wonderful to chat with. Place was very clean, very safe, and super comfortable. We stayed in the family room, consisting of two rooms (king bed, and another with sofas and double bed) and a bathroom. Lovely view, spacious room, with everything we needed. We had specific dietary requirements, and restaurants tried their utmost to cater to this. Lots of food choices at breakfast, lunch and dinner, Some repetition but that’s bound to happen at a buffet place when stay for several days. Only change I’d request is to have more vegetarian food, maybe in a separate section to avoid cross-contamination of serving spoons, but at least labelling of food that is vegetarian or vegan appropriately. (The restaurant did label gluten free foods as such), We especially enjoyed the custom made pizzas, Arabic sweets and cakes, and the huge variety of breads made within the hotel. Already thinking about when we will go again with more family and friends! Thank you to everyone at Stella di Mare for making the stay so wonderful.

We spent 10 days in Stella di Mare in October. Hotel is superb. Grounds are immaculate and cared for every day. Rooms, hallways, all places were very clean and well kept. When we arrived at 2:30 in the morning, we were greeted with a smile and “welcome home! We have been waiting for you!”, which felt very nice. The coral reef (part of the reason why we booked this hotel) didn’t disappoint. One tip, go early in the morning or closer to 5:00pm to see the best variety of fish. Food was really good too, with different themes every night. Excellent room thanks to expedia vip access. However i felt that a two tier system operated at the hotel. Half board was not treated nicely. Was told you will have to pay for tgat drink on several occasions. Staff dont ask if you want anything like they do for all inclusive. On checking out i was asked to wait until the room was checked before i could get into my taxi!!! Never had that in my life. Glad to say that i passed the room inspection. 😆

Great attention to detail, great service Mohamed at the pool bar was also great making different drinks and providing great conversation Bishoy at the pool bar was also fantastic Mina Tawfik was also great at breakfast and dinner! Mena at reception was a life saver when needing business services to be done at the hotel. Overall the staff is fantastic and these were just some of the few people and the highlights of them The property and amenities were great, clean and had fun looking towels on the bed daily. Property was very safe all around! The resort grounds are beautifully kept and very clean. Hotel reception was friendly and welcoming. Waitstaff at the two a la cart restaurants were very attentive and nice. I can’t say the same about the staff working the food and beverage station at the beach. Each day we went for lunch, we felt like we were bothering them and had to wait for a long time for anyone to acknowledge us even though we were leaving $2-3 each time. At one point they told my kids they weren’t serving lunch in the middle of the day which really put a bad taste in my mouth. Also several times I’ve ordered a drink from the pool staff and never received it. Towel guys were amazing!!! Entertainment girls at the beach were cute but a bit too pushy to join activities! Spa staff was friendly, exceptional at giving massage and friendly all around!

Language barrier is a problem and making the birthday arrangement for cake on down low was not easily planned. Misunderstanding plus wanted to charge higher price… found out they provide cakes for free and they make many desserts at the restaurant. Finally it worked out… unnecessary fuss could have been avoided. Great peaceful location.

Veldig fin beliggenhet. Ligger nær Naama Bay men pga alle hotellene langs strandlinjen må man gå et godt stykke rundt for å komme til Naama sentrum, evt videre utover. Ingen gjennomgang ved nabohoteller. Utsikten er flott, 4 gode restauranter på hotellområdet, flere steder å sole seg og bade, 2 basseng, liten dykkefacilitet, stort Spa som også har eget uteområde og basseng. Bra rom, god mat og veldig vennlige og servicemindede ansatte. Resepsjon har taxi service og minibank. Medical service, aktiviteter og noen butikker er det også på området. Det er forventet tips på tjenestene fra personalet som spør om de skal spraye deg med vann når du soler deg i heten eller om de skal pusse solbrillene dine, hente håndklær og legge på solsengen eller slå opp de store parasollene. Tips er også ønskelig for de som bærer din bagasje og de som gjør rent rommene. De som bestiller taxi tar også et beløp for å gjøre det. Husk endelig å kjøpe et visum når du ankommer flyplassen i Sharm for reiser utenfor Sharm. Om du ikke har planlagt reise, kan det hende du likevel gjør det. We stayed at this hotel for 10 nights for our anniversary (all inclusive , sea view room) To start with the reception staff who were very poor and helpless, Not very pleasant to deal with and always felt like they was not willing to help (manager had to get involved couple of times to help) The breakfast is good and fair selection likewise evening dinner good selection with fresh BBQ outside (only downfall I would say is it can get repetitive as same food everyday also to mention there is a lot of seafood options so if you don’t like seafood be aware!) The room itself had a pleasant balcony with a really good view, the bed was extremely comfortable and overall nice and clean. Bathroom could do with an update as slightly dated. The hotel has 2 pools, both which are excellent and the pool bar staff are very nice and welcoming. Pool bar also do food which was the best food at the hotel to be honest. If you are looking for a chilled out beach resort with hardly any children running around and some peace and chilled time then I would recommend Stella di mare. The outside area of the hotel is lovely right on the sea front and excellent for some downtime.
We stayed at this hotel for 10 nights for our anniversary (all inclusive , sea view room) To start with the reception staff who were very poor and helpless, Not very pleasant to deal with and always felt like they was not willing to help (manager had to get involved couple of times to help) The breakfast is good and fair selection likewise evening dinner good selection with fresh BBQ outside (only downfall I would say is it can get repetitive as same food everyday also to mention there is a lot of seafood options so if you don’t like seafood be aware!) The room itself had a pleasant balcony with a really good view, the bed was extremely comfortable and overall nice and clean. Bathroom could do with an update as slightly dated. We checked in smoothly with a lovely upgrade to room 603 which was just perfect with a gorgeous view. This was my 2nd visit to this hotel and can’t wait to book again for next year.. The restaurant quality was out of this world and had different themes every night. The pastry dessert chef deserves recognition there was so much choice and there Egyptian sweets were so delicious. We visited both Ala carte restaurants which were lovely too with the Asian being my favourite. There were 2 main pools one for families and one for adults which we preferred being a couple for the peaceful surroundings and being looked after by all the staff. The only point I would make which is very small is the entertainment and animation it wasn’t 5* material and was all finished at 10pm with the outside bar closing as well which I thought was strange as most hotels are midnight so if like us you like to go down for dinner at 8pm when you’ve finished the entertainment is nearly done You do have an option of going into the inside pub or lobby but I think most people would like to sit outside for longer.. other than that we had a lovely holiday and look forward to coming back. Visited the place with my father, and super impressed with the quality of the service from concierge to the cleaners, from reception staff to restaurant managers and waiters. Names we remember: Bishoy Nandy, Mahmoud El Hoseny, Hany George, Ahmed to name just a few. Chefs, waiting staff just really welcoming too. Waleed in the perfume shop also wonderful to chat with. Place was very clean, very safe, and super comfortable. We stayed in the family room, consisting of two rooms (king bed, and another with sofas and double bed) and a bathroom. Lovely view, spacious room, with everything we needed. We had specific dietary requirements, and restaurants tried their utmost to cater to this. Lots of food choices at breakfast, lunch and dinner, Some repetition but that’s bound to happen at a buffet place when stay for several days. Only change I’d request is to have more vegetarian food, maybe in a separate section to avoid cross-contamination of serving spoons, but at least labelling of food that is vegetarian or vegan appropriately. (The restaurant did label gluten free foods as such), We especially enjoyed the custom made pizzas, Arabic sweets and cakes, and the huge variety of breads made within the hotel. I have visited Sharm many times, but this hotel continues to stand out as the best. It is peaceful, elegant and designed for genuine relaxation. The grounds are lush and welcoming, and the sunrise over the Red Sea is truly spectacular. The beach is clean and calm with excellent snorkelling, and there are always plenty of sunbeds available, even later in the morning. The pool area is spotless, well organised and ideal for cooling off or enjoying a quiet afternoon. My room was comfortable and very well maintained, with granite bathroom finishes that added a touch of quality not often found in standard hotel rooms. The food throughout the stay was consistently excellent. The buffet offered a wide range of fresh dishes, including breads, soups, appetisers, a carvery, pasta, salads, themed evenings and an outdoor barbecue every night. Breakfast was another highlight, with fresh-squeezed juices and good coffee, all carefully prepared and far better than the usual bland all-inclusive choices. What truly sets Stella di Mare apart is the staff. Everyone is friendly, smiling and eager to help, creating a warm, relaxed atmosphere from the moment you arrive. I would particularly like to mention Mr Salah at reception for his welcoming professionalism and for the many things he did to make my stay so pleasant. I will definitely be back.

This is really an excellent hotel. The staff cannot do enough for you and their attention to detail is superb. The food is really good in terms of choice and quality. The two specialty restaurants were particularly good and you could book into them as much as you wanted. The hotel has a reef next to it which is so good you don't really need to do any boat trips to experience the great variety of marine life in the Red Sea. We will definitely stay here again if returning to Sharm. Just one small negative, the hotel does offer a free shuttle into Naama Bay but if is not clear on the booking sites that this only operates in the evening.

Fantastic size room and really comfortable beds. 2 great pools and access to beach gave plenty of variety. Food was plentiful and good choices in buffet restaurant and in Asian and Mediterranean the all inclusive meal options were great, beautifully presented and tastes wonderful.

Very nice hotel in perfect location. The staff was incredibly helpful all the time. The room allways clean and had good space. The food was OK, but not fantastic. For instance we would like icecream for dessert sometimes, this was never offered. The good icecream you must buy as an extra, even if you are on all inclusive. They served "sushi" for dinner one day. This is the worst sushi ever. Apart from that, food was OK. The hotel is dominated by russian guests. In our poinion not allways the most polite and nice people, and many of them reluctant or not able to speak english. The gym is OK, although not everything is working, and both threadmills warn about needing service, but the staff doesnt fix it.

The hotel is in a spectacular location. The coral reef accessible right from the property is impressive—far better than many of the natural reefs featured on paid excursions. We did run into an issue, though: upon check-out, we were told a small towel was missing from one of the rooms, and they tried to charge us for it. It was shocking and unbelievable. You really need to improve in this regard.
