I’ll start by saying the reception staff were very helpful and friendly. Great service from them. On check in, one staff member helped me with parking arrangements , which was a relief as there’s limited parking available. I was initially put in the annex across the road. As a lone female I said I wasn’t comfortable with this and the receptionist kindly changed my room to the main building. The hotel itself is ok but I’m pleased I was only there for one night. The walls are so thin I found it very noisy - have to realise not all hotel guests are considerate of others. This resulted in a poor nights sleep. Coupled with lumpy pillows and a room that was very warm, the comfort of my stay was poor. Breakfast was ok. Again the issue was other guests pushing in and being inconsiderate. Quality of cooked breakfast seemed ok but poor coffee and limited choice of bread or healthy options. But then again breakfast is cheap, so it is going to be basic. Area of he hotel is in is probably not everyone’s first choice of location but it’s near Ilford station. I didn’t really like the walk back from the station in the dark, but it’s only a couple of minutes walk. Just need to be sensible and I wouldn’t suggest walking with your phone on show, for example. The hotel did seem better than all other hotels nearby.

The hotel is in a very good location and very convenient for getting around London. The staff were friendly and welcoming. However, the rooms are quite small and noisy, and we could clearly hear guests snoring and TVs playing late into the night. Our ground-floor room overlooked the smoking area, where guests sat and smoked, so we couldn't keep the windows or curtains open. There was also no air conditioning, making the room less comfortable. Overall, a convenient location with a nice staff, but the room comfort and noise levels need improvement.

Really good price, close to the Elizabeth line so central London in 30 minutes, and ended up getting a really big room. Bargain for £65 a night! Would stay again, and have booked a couple more London stays 👍
