Great hotel even you travel alone and dont need breakfast and all the stuff. I was happy to have my own little kitchen and could prepare my own meals! All the people are very nice/friendly plus the reception(front desk) speaks good english so you feel safe and comfortabel. Everything their is ecplained in japanese/english so you wont have problems understanding everything! You can wash your cloths at the laundry room for some yen, so you dont need too much cloths and can pack mone souvenirs! Helping tools for kitchen or cloths you will get at the receiption! You have lots of shops around and sunshine city is also near, so the hotel has a good central position! Was my first time in Japan and if i will come back im sure i would pick that hotel again! Room was clean though a bit old, but acceptable for the price point. Close enough walk to Ikebukuro but far away enough you don't get any noise. Having a kitchen was a big plus, I cooked some great waguu steak in there. Would definitely stay here again.

This was a great hotel to stay at! It is located in a more quiet part of Tokyo, away from the main central busy part of the city. However, it is a 10 minute walk from the station. The staff were very friendly and can speak English which was helpful! I love the free amenities provided for guests right by the service desk.

Good location, plenty of convenience stores nearby if you need to grab any last-minute items, and also just a short 10 minute walk to Otsuka Station. It's around a 15 minute walk to the Ikebukuro area, which has lots of shops, food options, and another station there too. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. There is a laundry room with plenty of both washers & dryers, so we never needed to wait as there was always one available to use. The room is small, so if you have a lot of luggages and bags it can be difficult to open them up and still have space to move around. The bathroom takes some getting used to as it is also small and has quite a high step to get in/out of the bathroom and the bathtub too, so that is something to note for anyone with mobility issues or bad knees. Overall had a good experience here as it was a good central location and affordable price.

I booked a non smoking room but when I entered the room smelt very strongly like cigarettes. The smell seeps in through the vents into all rooms it appears. When I asked hotel staff to amend this they said there were no other non smoking rooms available. A couple days later they provided a deodorising spray which did not get rid of the smell. The pros-Very friendly service, they even let us check in early after a our long journey. Super close to sunshine city and about a 10 min walk from the train station. The room was a decent size for Tokyo and the AC worked great. Bathroom was renovated nicely. The cons- the walls had scary stains. Lots of spots covered in what I can only imagine is blood and other bodily fluids. There was a huge red stain right when you entered that looked like blood, like someone was shot at the doorway( head height ) I had some wet wipes but It was a textured wall paper and I was unable to scrub out the stains, the worst of which were on the wall right by where the bed touch the wall and would have to touch while sleeping. The mattress was awful. Super lumpy and hard. Didn't sleep great at all. Nothing against the hotel but also wouldn't recommend the neighborhood as it was the only place in Tokyo that felt a bit unsafe. Lots of noises from other rooms in the night. Lots of sirens in the night because the fire hall is super close by. I didn't realize the proximity until the next morning, so all through the night I felt like things were happening right outside. We only stayed one night and was glad I didn't stay longer.

目的地の付近だった為、こちらのホテルにしました。大人1人、子供1人での予約でしたので、事前にホテルに子供のアメニティの確認をしました。子供用のパジャマやアメニティはないとのことで、事前に聞いておいてよかったと思いました。スタッフの方の対応はとてもよかったです。当日も、フロントでの対応はとてもいいと思いました。部屋は、普通のホテル(禁煙部屋)なのですが、、各所のホコリが気になりました。窓際、ベッドの下、少し気になりました。天井にも大きなシミがあり、不気味に感じました。いざ寝ようと布団をめくると、血？チョコレート？おそらく血だと思うのですが、、ベッドメイキング後についたであろうシミがあり、戸惑いました。もう夜も遅く、子供も寝かけていたので、フロントには連絡せず、掛け布団カバーをしいて寝ました。清掃の部分でとても残念に思いました。

It is a 8 minutes walk from the JR Otsuka station to the hotel, but a 20 minutes walk from the Ikebukuro station. The room I stayed has built-in mini kitchen, so faint smell of food can be detected walking in the room, which is okay to me. Cleaning service will only be provided for a fee. But they can provide new towel for free if needed. Generally, it is a nice budget hotel.

This is the noisiest hotel I have ever stayed in. The walls and ceilings are paper thin, so you will know when your neighbour is using the shower or the TV, or has the air conditioning on. If you do finally get to sleep, you will be woken early each morning by people leaving, presumably to catch their flights. And if you're trying to rest during the day, you have the nearby sports field and fire station to contend with. This is undoubtedly a cheap hotel, especially while the yen is weak; whether or not it's good value depends on how much you like a good night's sleep. Oh, and the WiFi is really slow.

Big mirror in the room. The room main light switch is next to TV, a bit weird. The hotel is close to station. A lot of convenient store and dining options. Walkable distance to sunshine city. If you planning to visit Ikebukuro a lot, then it is a good choice to stay here as well. But if you are walking from Ōtsuka station, there is a bit of up slope walking to hotel. Overall, it is not bad at all to stay here if on budget. lol

I stayed for about two weeks and I had a great time staying at this property! It had all the amenities I needed and it was very close to both Otsuka Station and the Sunshine City Shopping Mall so it was a convienient stay. The staff was also very helpful and I could still communicate with English.
