Homewood Suites by Hilton Newtown - Langhorne, PA

The hotel was gorgeous with their new renovations and breakfast was great. We were extremely dissappointed to find the pool was down as it was one of the primary reasons for picking the hotel, my 3 year old was very upset especially being next to a aquatic club that he had to look at every time we left not understanding why he couldnt swim, we tried to see if there were accomdations at a neighboring pool but no, we drove 25 minutes to a public pool to find that was closed as well so having a tearful 3 year old was difficult. The shower doors fell on us multiple times and the shower in general was not cleaned very well. We had a hard time with the TV which we asked for help with, a man came in agreed there was something wrong but didnt know how to fix it so he would talk to his manager and come back....we never heard from him again so we didnt bother to ask for help with anything else the rest of the trip.

It was an amazing hotel. Close to so many restaurants. Clean outdoors wirh firepit and BBQ Area. Wonderful gym with a pelaton. Clean and cozy pool.

We arrived on Thursday, August 21st. We were there for my 2-year-old son's birthday. This property was convenient to Sesame Place, but there were issues. We did not have a microwave from Thursday until Saturday. We were informed that there was a microwave downstairs in the lobby area, but the elevator that was near our room was out of order. That meant we would have to walk down our hall, around a corner and then down another hall for the back elevator. That was very inconvenient especially if you are carrying food for 3 adults and 1 child. The microwave was replaced and while it was being replaced, 2 lights had blown. Someone came to change the bulbs, but had the wrong bulbs and had to go find differnet ones. Of course, this person seemed to have an attiude. Any time we took our dogs out, we had to walk down 3 flights of stairs. Major inconvenience! Also, while there, we could not access the pool as it was closed due to maintenance. The first notification about the pool stated it would be closed until the 22nd, but changed to the 27th. That was a major inconvenience as well due to me booking the hotel for the indoor pool. My son loves pools, and we had planned to spend a lot of time in the pool. Unfortunately, we could not do so. I was compensated, which when asked, it was a slight attitude about it. To be honest, I would not recommend this hotel, while it may be convenient to Sesame Place, I would rather pay more elsewhere than to deal with all the inconveniences. Thanks!

The indoor swimming pool is out of commission till 8.18. Staff reported that it is being painted. The humidity is high in the summer. It would have been better to do a pool project during the winter when most people won’t use it. Cleaning Staff did not clean my room during my stay. I kept the room tidy and made the bed daily (as I always do). Towels were not changed the 2 days I was there. However, the grounds, dining area, and lobby were immaculate as well as the landscaping. The staff was super friendly, the free breakfast was actually really good. We were a little bummed out the inside pool was closed due to maintenance but other than that it was a nice affordable place to stay.

Could not get hot water out of the shower. The water in the sink and shower did not drain properly so you had to stand in 6 inches of water in the shower. The front elevator is still out of service.

One elevator wasn't functional which meant a much longer walk to the second elevator with luggage. We tried to visit the pool once, there was something floating in it.

Elevator broken so we had to go to the back of the hotel. Otherwise, the room is great. Pet friendly.

Our room had an ant infestation. No available rooms to move to until next day. Shower/tub faucett could not control water temp and difficult to shut warer off. Cold shower. Said they would fix but if they came when we were out they never fixed the problem.

We found bugs in our room. We found one small cockroach on the door frame of the bedroom and then several small bugs on the area that meets the floor to the wall. They were in the bedroom and bathroom. We asked to switch rooms and the next room had the same bug in one of the beds. The continental breakfast was nice and clean but the bugs I could not deal with, obviously, we shortened our stay and switched hotels.

We were there 5 nights, no cleaning service for room, towels replaced and trash emptied every 2 days—that’s it, never once was coffee, sweeteners, cream refreshed, bare bones furnishings, parking lot views, one day took shower and NO bath towels, it took over an hour to have a towel brought to the room

The property is immaculate both inside and out. The entire staff ( from the top down ), is friendly, professional and accommodating. I highly recommend it !!

The word ‘tired’ aptly describes this hotel. The a/c unit was clogged with dust and debris, blowing out bits of dirty ‘lint’; a few slots were broken as well on the unit. Shower had mold, commode was unclean, stuffy and odd odor permeated throughout the hotel: halls, rooms lobby. They also could use more room signage and directional upon exit from elevator. However, the staff was beyond reproach- friendly, attentive, they were the best part of the stay. I expected more attention to be paid to the upkeep of the hotel given the cost of the room, and the area.

The room was a very good size, but ours was definitely dingy, sheets were stained (as were the backup pair I called and asked for), and all of the furniture in the room was beat up. The carpet also kept a ton of dust and the AC could not be adjusted. Breakfast was fine and the staff were very nice, it's just in desperate need of an update and a good scrubbing

Comforter was stained and sheets were dirty. Housekeeping changed all the linens for us. The showerhead was filthy-moldy and rusted. The rest of the room was good. Not close to amenities or restaurants.

We had a quick 2 night stay but it was great! Their bfast is delicious, so clean and lots of places to sit and eat. The room was spacious and clean and loved having the kitchenette option with 2 small kids! Will definitely be back when we visit sesame again.

Hotel room was beat up and in need of new carpet WC and paint. Furniture was worn scratched and soiled. Corridors were the same.

The interior and rooms are overdo for a refresh. Very dark interior wallpaper, and it shows lots of scuffs from its age. Same with the room, which showed a lot of age as well. Pool was ok, kinda small but sufficient. Breakfast was basic but again just kinda meh.

We have a large family so our options for staying all in 1 room are limited but this hotel has 2 bedroom suites that work great for us. The bedrooms are a nice size and it has an indoor pool so that's a plus with 4 kids. The proximity to sesame place is good. The lobby and breakfast area is clean and well kept. Our room could use a better job with cleaning and updated furniture. The kitchen table was scratched up and had something that looked like weave hanging from underneath. The chairs were VERY wobbly and in obvious need of repair or replacement. The upholstered furniture was stained. The mattresses were uncomfortable. We would definitely consider staying here again as our options are limited with a family of 8. We did like the laundry facilities also.

Pleasantly surprised by the King Studio suite; we had an East facing view with the sunrise. Staff was very helpful & the breakfast was pretty good, with multiple options, incl. cereal, yougurt, tortillas with meat, waffles, eggs, potatoes, etc. Breakfast/great room was a good place to gather or relax. Lots of shopping places within driving places. The doors/hallways could use fresh paint; there are a lot of scuff marks on the room doors. It appears the hotel also hosts permanent residents; we did see a school bus pick up a child. Out back, there is a pond, where we saw a kid fishing. Overall, a good stay.

Comfortable rooms and nice staff. Breakfast was good also. Only complaint was internet was slow and complicated to use. For fast internet you have to pay extra, but even with staff help, we were unable to sign up as the system was buggy. So, on a business trip I had a terrible connection which was frustrating. The price of the room should cover fast internet in my opinion.

Very rude nasty check In an out would never stay there again

Very friendly staff, hotel is updating the property to keep it nice - looks great. Nice amenities, good breakfast buffet, nice little market area in the lobby for drinks and snacks, etc. Rooms are spacious and nicely equipped with everything you need.

Checkin is at 3pm, but by 3:45pm my room was still not ready. The front desk staff asked if I would mind waiting 20 more minutes and I did. After that time I inquired again and she said another 30 mins. By this time I was past the “waiting patiently” stage. I have my children sitting in the car and I’m annoyed. I ask for the room to simply be switched so I could start my stay and she couldn’t because it was booked through Expedia (a 3rd party). the woman walks me through the hotel, past hundreds of rooms (non of which I could be switched to), to check on mine. The room of course was dirty and no one was cleaning it. This was about 4:15 at this time. Then we walk around the hotel to find the cleaning staff. They don’t even know what she’s talking about. She then says she’ll have to override the system to change my room and they will just have to absorb the cost at this point. We get back to the front desk where there are irate customers waiting to be helped. She was apparently the only one working that day, and she left her post to walk me around the hotel on a wild goose chase. She immediately went to help them, so I walked outside to bring my kids in. She was still helping other people (happily sending them off to their rooms without issue), so I bathroomed my toddler and came back. At that point I interjected the current transaction and just asked for my room key so that I could at least take my kids to the pool. She proceeded to make the keys and then told me my room was r

My name is Devi, we were going to Sesame place , I did call previous times and different ocasiones, due to the fact that I have a Non verbal Autistic child and we wanted to leave our stuff in the hotel before proceeding to the Park,,, we were traveling from NY to PA,,,, Nancy and Jack was very kind enough to let us checking as soon as the room was cleaned and ready!!!!! Staff at the desk couldn’t access keys for our room for 25 minutes. They made our keys not work when we went back to get our luggage even though they approved a late check out. That wasted another 20 minutes.

Lovely stay, during a time of need where we were staying in the area for a funeral for a family member. Checked in on Friday the fifth around 10 PM, and the person at the desk on that shift was actually quite hurt and non-friendly. That said, the person who took the 11 o'clock shift, a nice gentleman, was very, very accommodating and helpful.

Didn’t allow refund of original booking when we tried to cancel and rebook for a room block. Expedia allowed the refund but the hotel did not on their end. The room block for the wedding wasn’t available when we originally booked. The difference in price was substantial around $100. Also our key cards malfunctioned 4x and had to return to the desk from the 5th floor each time.

The spacious suite gave us plenty of room to spread out and relax, and the comfortable sleeping arrangements ensured everyone got a good night's rest. My kids were thrilled with the breakfast buffet each morning, and having a full kitchen in the suite allowed us to prepare familiar meals, which helped maintain a sense of normalcy during a stressful time. What truly stood out was the feeling of being cared for and supported by the staff. They went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, making our stay feel like a true home away from home. I can't recommend Homewood Suites by Hilton Newtown - Langhorne enough, especially for families facing challenging circumstances. They provided a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment during a difficult time. 5 stars!

My favorite place to stay in the Newtown area. Nice and quiet but conveniently to restaurants and shopping.

This is a very comfortable hotel if you have a car rental or someone to drive you around. It’s very spacious and easy. Breakfast was good and lovely staff .

This property is only a 10-minute drive to Sesame Place. It was clean and just what my family of three needed for our stay. The room was nice and was equipped with a kitchenette and fridge. It also had a small living room with sofa bed. The breakfast options were good. The indoor pool was open and clean. The staff were friendly. I would stay here again.

Hotel was decorated very festive for the Memorial Day holiday. Breakfast had a good variety.

The hotel was under renovation when we arrived. So ir is inconvenient to arrive to a place with big renovation in progress. The hotel shall do a better job at isolating the construction area. It shall be announced some where during the booking process that the place is undergoing renovations. The breakfast was not good in terms of freshness.
