The room was nice. The exercise room had broken equipment. The breakfast was lacking with what appeared to be old hash browns. The waffles were good though.

Most of the equipment in the exercise room was broken. The hot tub was taped off just like it was a year ago when we stayed there.

I didn’t like that the pool was always closed

We had an excellent stay! The continental breakfast was great, and the kids enjoyed the pool—especially with the extended hours. The hotel staff was friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Our only minor complaints were that the pillows were quite thin, so you may need two or three for comfort depending on your preference. Additionally, on our last night, the guests in the room above us were quite noisy throughout the night and into the early morning hours.

This place is older & definitely needs updating. But it was clean, beds were comfy, the shower was nice. The room was spacious & the workers were very nice. The pool was just ok. It's pretty small & was very cold. They have a hot tub, but the jets were not working, so that was disappointing. There is also only one working ice machine & it's on the first floor. We were staying on the 4th floor, so it was very inconvenient to go down to the first floor to get ice. Overall, we enjoyed our stay & would probably stay there again, but they need to lower the rates until they fix the broken amenities & update in general.

The pool and hot tub were enjoyable and we were glad it was open until midnight! Staff were very nice

Hot Tub is no longer there. Pool was not heated as advertised. Pool was dirty, slimey. Good was not good. Rooms were falling apart and smelly. The only thing I can say was that the staff was friendly and apologetic. Do not recommend. There are several other hotels to stay within walking distance.

Several things out of order - ice machine- elevator(part of the time)- cold drinks machine in breakfast area - hot tub - pool looked bad - Breakfast was disappointing- no cold drink - oj or other juices - milk put out late (like 8:30)

Have stayed here a few other times over the years , like using the spa/hot tub & swim pool .Well the spa/hot did not work or get repaired the entire five days I was there. Also parking was terrible. Do the fact that the hotel allowed a company to store their vehicles and work vehicles, construction equipment, and parking spots to me that unacceptable I understand they probably are paying a higher rate and staying long-term, but come on that’s horrible. I have to park my car out in the street because there is no parking spot available and then on my last day and a half there no warning or anything they start doing construction in the lobby, I will definitely not have to consider other avenue as possibly when coming down to visit family that I do at least twice a year.

They was unacceptable, discovered bed bugs in one of the two rooms we paid for. The night employee, Jay, advised he was unable to provide further accommodations and was only able to provide new sheets only no comforter or other linens. Due to the lack of accommodations I had to give up my sleeping area and sleep in my car so my kids and wife could sleep in the one room. The following morning the day manager advised that policy was not to refund the room until inspection, secondly advised that it is agonist the hotels policy to sleep in my personal car on property. During our conversation she advised that the employee that cleans the rooms will clean the room that is infested with the bed bugs and have it inspected on Monday or Tuesday. I advised her that that is against health regulations, as the room should be locked out by the manager or security, quarantined until inspection NOT cleaned by staff and possibly cross contaminating other rooms the employee will be cleaning the same day and allowing the room to utilized over again prior to inspection. Attached are pictures of the live bed bug that was secured and given to Jay, the overnight manager/employe. The picture of the carpeted area is a picture of another live bed bug and the pictures of the mattress area are pictures of casing from bed bugs. There were also traces of bed bugs on the linens, however we did not obtain pictures of those due to not wanting to further expose our family to bed bugs.

The hotel is under renovation but my room was a hot mess. Filthy carpet, lumpy bed, bathroom paint various patch up colors and STILL with speckled spots not even attempted to have painted. My granddaughter could have done a better job! Location worked for me so I stayed for 4 nights. So happy I brought flip flops and never touched the floor!

Hotel did not look entirely as advertised, it is looong overdue for a renovation. Room was somewhat clean but the towels had clumps of hair in them. The walls are so thin you can hear people getting off the elevator from the opposite side of the hall. Also the AC system is extremely loud every time it turns off or on. Will not be booking again. The only redeeming quality was the kindness of the staff and front desk.

The bedding, pillows and towels had hair on them. I stayed 4 days, 3 nights and did not have cleaning service at all during my stay. I emptied my own trash and when I asked for clean towels to swap, they were not available.

Nice staff, clean rooms, good breakfast

THE WAS A USED DIRTY WASHCLOTH IN MY SHOWER! My husband and I pulled the curtain open and there was a crusty dry washcloth draped over the curtain rod. COMPLETELY disgusting. We got a room with 2 queen beds and one set of sheets was stained. The toilet paper wasn’t neatly on the roll so that was off putting, and there was hair on the floor in the bathroom. Definitely seemed like it wasn’t clean and will not be going back.

Everything at breakfast was severely watered down. Coffee, juice and oatmeal were all ridiculous. We had to go out for breakfast. The first room i was offered showed evidence of bed bugs. They were very polite about switching rooms but some people wouldn't have checked the beds.

Horrible experience, bugs in the first room.and massive.stink in the second, still got charged a night

Very clean rooms and courteous staff

Good place to stay foe a night while deiving or a short visit to family. A little noisy especially if you are not on the top floor.

Always friendly staff, clean, comfortable. Only thing annoying is no microwave in the room

I think it just need an update in TVs and couple other things, and better breakfast options, but it wasn’t bad, but it’s hard when your right by 2 breakfast chains. Well 3. Nice location all day.

The wi-fi was not good, but the food was good. The hotel was okay, the pillows were terrible, so bring your own.

Did not have microwave in rooms. Had to go downstairs to first floor. Outdated rooms with 19 inch TVs. Housekeeping would knock on door early in morning to ask for towels instead of waiting to clean room. I had change room because it was stink in the air.

Walls are thin allowing noise from neighboring rooms to interrupt rest. Pillows are small and are nearer to bricks.

The WiFi did not work in the bedroom of room 416. It worked in the sitting area, but that was it. When I told the front desk clerk about it, she said they had recently switched networks and they aware of the problem.

The room was very spacious and fit our family of 4 very well. The staff was very nice and helpful during our stay. The breakfast was typical of complimentary breakfast. The only downsides were that our room wasn’t cleaned during our 3 night stay and the pool was cold.

I would not stay here again. The walls are very thin, all night I could hear the folks in the next room talking. They were not loud, normal conversational tone. But they talked ALL night. Somewhere a piece of machinery would run for a while, then stop, then start up again later on. The lever to close the drain for the bathroom sink is so close to the wall that I could barely get a grip on it. It really didn't matter, though, because the drain wouldn't stay down anyway. The faucet dripped steadily, wouldn't completely shut off.

Great and friendly staff

All staff I dealt with was amazing except the young boy Ryan that works mornings. Never seems to want to work or interact with you when you are talking to him and is rude. Messed up my payment and over heard he did the same for another guest. Management is amazing and on top of things to get stuff fixed. Hotel is clean and nicely kept up and in a good area. Only negative is the young boy that works the front desk.

Staff were very friendly, helpful and prompt.

Front desk employee was rude and cussed and yelled at other customers in front of my children when it was brought to her attention to get a manager she declined to do so.

The location was convenient to all activities in surrouding towns.

This Country Inn and Suites is located right off 85 with easy access to lots of restaurants and the highway. Hotel was clean and check in was easy. The hotel was undergoing some wall renovations with removal of wallpaper which was somewhat unpleasant. But did not affect our stay.

Excellent location if you are going to the outlets or the Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Nice hotel for a fair price. Conveniently located near shops and restaurants, right off of I85. We'd definitely stop here again.

We were unexpectedly delayed in the area and needed a convenient location while our RV was down. The location was good for our needs, area felt safe and the staff was great.

It is a bit far from downtown, but very close to the outlets and the Charlotte Motor Speedway.

The location of this property is simply an A . They have places to eat, places to shop, gas station, etc. and the hotel it self is not bad. I look for several things when I stay in an hotel: location, cleanliness, comfortable bed and good water pressure. This hotel checks them all.

It was convenient drive to downtown, shopping, and to restaurants. The room was clean and updated. The only drawback was the breakfast, it was included. It had many options but not always fresh. We ate there a few times and then just ended up going out to breakfast.

It was a very nice stay. The property was well kept, plenty options for your free breakfast, easy check in, and great pool/Jacuzzi!! Would stay again.

The front desk staff members were great! The beds were comfortable and the rooms are spacious. The breakfast was tasty with a variety of options. I wasn't satisfied with the TV capabilities.....streaming options would be better for most. There were little cosmetic things that needed attention, but nothing that hindered having an enjoyable stay.

Pros: The check in process was easy and staff very friendly. Room was clean and air-conditioning worked well. Parking was ample even with a fully booked hotel. Hotel is right off 85 and easy to find. Cons: We killed two cockroaches (waterbugs). I know they are common down south. We just kept everything separate when we got home and washed everything in hot water. Also, breakfast staff were great. However, we were all left with heavy upset stomachs. We decided the rest of the trip to go to Breakfast Time Anytime right next door and breakfast was awesome there! A must try.
