The man at the check in office was very hospitable and polite. the room was not as large as i thought, however it was very clean so i wont complain. the only complaint i do have is that the parking was very inconvenient. beyond that, the location was great and the staff was delightful to speak with. would recommend to anyone who wants a few nights on the boardwalk

Great location. Easy check in. Awesome service. Only 6 parking spots for 9 rooms, but they offered free parking at another problem a block away.

Parking is very tight but at least you don’t have to pay for it. The balcony is public like any one can just be on it no privacy / romance. The walls are thin and you can hear people breathe. People outside get loud and make it hard to sleep- don’t bring small kids lol. The rooms are just that a space for 2 beds a mini fridge microwave bathroom and dresser- nothing extra. Staff was nice no issues. I didn’t see any roaches, I did look for them.

It is right on the boardwalk and roof top view was awsome to see fireworks and the ocean. TV wouldn't shut off, had to unplug it and the volume was blasting and remote didn't work. The bathroom door needed to be cut on the bottom because the door had to be pushed to shut and open. Shower was gross, needed a good scrubbing.

the (732)793-1735 number does not work or no one answers but I received a call back from a Mr.Muhammad who was very friendly, accommodating & very helpful. the rooms are clean but very cramp & there are no closets or places to hang clothes. only other furniture in the room were 2 nightstands with a lamp with 3 small drawers & a desk with no chair. we stayed in a very nice single bed room during a very cold & very windy rainstorm. outside cold air leaked thru around the A/C unit below the window. there was no heat in the room but an electrical space heater was provided, which needed to be set on medium or low, or else it may trip a circuit breaker, which happened during our stay. the walls are thin so you may hear the other hotel guests next door & they can hear you. highly suggest to bring extra towels , hand towels & wash cloths. there is parking on the property but very limited to maybe a 1/2 dozen vehicles. on a nice summer day, the hotel is very ideal & conveniently located right on the boardwalk

Room was dirty, sheets were stained, outlet hanging out of the wall, shower was never cleaned from previous guest. If I was to change in my room, anybody driving by could have seen me through it. Toilet itself was never cleaned and stained. No other lock on the door besides the hotel key we were given (only one mind you) we actually gave them there key back and went down to another hotel 4 minutes away because the place did not seem safe. We also waited 15 minutes in the “lobby” to just get our keys in the first place.

Positives: The deck overlooking boardwalk was a wonderful perk. The staff was very nice and helpful. Boardwalk grill food on property.Negative: The room and condition of stairs, halls etc. Room was pretty terrible- very small, dirty shower, patched wallpaper, dented minifridge, worst of all the sheets were stained and there was hair in them !! YUCK.

So we just got done with our stay at Hotel Charlie. The pros. Location is great. It’s right in the middle of the boardwalk. It’s quiet, and we did go in the off season. Easily accessible to the beach. Beds were comfy and clean. Now for the cons. Where do I begin? Place is run down and the room was dirty. Dust was visible throughout the room. Furniture looks like it has seen its better days. Parking lot can fit 5 cars maximum. There is a parking lot across the street, which they did let me park at. That was pretty small too. I get that it’s the Jersey Shore, and none of the places on the boardwalk look up to par, but this was ridiculous. I also got charged for an extra person at a whopping $116. They would not take the charge off. First night it was myself and my 3 children. Next night it was myself and 2 children. We were located on the 3rd floor so there is one staircase. Fire hazard?? Don’t look for food downstairs, the restaurant was closed the whole weekend. We made the best of the weekend but if I return to Seaside Heights I will definitely search for a different property,

It’s right on the boardwalk so if you’re going to be spending time on the beach or boardwalk for any extended period of time it’s very convenient. But it is really just a place to sleep. The rooms are very barebones, just a bed, end tables, a bathroom, and a small tv. It’s my understanding they may be renovating some rooms, but it’s definitely not a room I’d be spending any amount of time in other than to sleep.

-Booked room with queen bed, but received room with 2 full sized beds instead...then manager tried to "upsell" us the room that we actually booked in the Expedia app. -Dirty towels in the cabinets -broken towel bar in bathroom -no outlet cover plate -Portable Heater broke 3 times and had to be replaced -No washcloths or hand towels in bathroom -No cups, no coffeemaker, -Remote for TV only worked 2 feet away from TV -Super bright light right outside room -No wand to adjust blinds in room -Shower faucet was impossible to tell hot or cold

Parking is located 2 blocks from hotel. Rooms are very small, bed was uncomfortable and broken to the point I thought it would crumble underneath us. The room is very small and we kept bumping into things just trying to move around. Bathroom is very small also. Since the room is right on the boardwalk so it is very loud until about 10pm.

I was charged $250 to stay in a closet with a bathroom. Bathroom was falling apart as well as "furniture" in the room. Bed was worse than a college dormroom mattress. Never again.

Went with a couple of friends. The room was very small. Not at all worth what I paid. Not at all like the pictures. No microwave or coffee maker. The door to the bathroom would not close easily. Nowhere to hang up your wet towels or bathing suits. And only 1 mirror for 3 people to use getting ready for the day. On the plus side- the room was very clean. Plenty of towels, soap, and shampoo was provided. The staff is very friendly.

Love this place and the guy who runs it is just so nice. We get the top floor room right off the rooftop patio and he has had no problem coming up to help us with the tv. Very friendly.

Staff was excellent. Property location is top notch. Room was clean. If you need a clean place to sleep, have a dump, and have a shower all while being close to everything ….. this is the place.

-Booked room with queen bed, but received room with 2 full sized beds instead...then manager tried to "upsell" us the room that we actually booked in the Expedia app. -Dirty towels in the cabinets -broken towel bar in bathroom -no outlet cover plate -Portable Heater broke 3 times and had to be replaced -No washcloths or hand towels in bathroom -No cups, no coffeemaker, -Remote for TV only worked 2 feet away from TV -Super bright light right outside room -No wand to adjust blinds in room -Shower faucet was impossible to tell hot or cold

Nothing like the pictures posted on expedia. Refrigerator and microwave was rusty. When i mentioned it to them they never offered another room. Front desk Henna lady never meet her thar day and she told expedia that she offered another room when she didn't. Nit recommended

Have no complaints from our stay, staff were friendly, attentive and accommodating. Room was updated and nice with a great view of the boardwalk and Seaside heights beach. Will be returning next summer!

Muhammad at the front desk was amazing! We were able to check in early for a small fee as well as upgrade to a larger room for a small fee because we added an extra person with us last minute! He was great about working with us to make sure we had what we needed! The room was a great size for a quick trip & was stocked with everything we needed. We will definitely return when coming back to seaside!

Room was decently clean had hair on the sheets and on the floor in bathroom staff was very friendly and accommodating could see ocean from balcony of room and had private back deck

On arrival, property manager did not greet us. He called to figure out the room is open and key is on bed. There was no trash can, burn holes in bed sheets. Bed felt like a pull out couch frame and mattress. There was food left in the fridge from previous guests. We had to ask about wifi and it was terrible service and was for the Sand and Surf motel next door. It was the worst experience I’ve had. We we’re out most of the day, but the time we we’re there. I wish I wasn’t.

The room is on the 3rd floor. You have to walk up 39 steps to get to the room. The microwave door was broken and it made loud whistling and grinding noises. There was no coffee pot. Toilet paper holder was broke. They gave us two towels and no wash cloths. We had to ask for more.No clock, no phone. No coffee pot. Took 18 minutes to let the shower run for hot water. The only perk of this hotel is that it's right on the boardwalk. Oh, and we found out, its close to the Hersey Shore house.

The hotel is exactly what you need to stay in Seaside Heights. Pretty clean for a simple beach hotel, no fuss, just a straight forward place to stay. Bring beach towels, skincare and toiletries. You are really paying for the location. Located right on the boardwalk around the corner from the Jersey Shore House with a free parking pass provided at check-in, shopping, rides and games. Perfect for my family's 2 night stay.

Positives: The deck overlooking boardwalk was a wonderful perk. The staff was very nice and helpful. Boardwalk grill food on property.Negative: The room and condition of stairs, halls etc. Room was pretty terrible- very small, dirty shower, patched wallpaper, dented minifridge, worst of all the sheets were stained and there was hair in them !! YUCK.

So we just got done with our stay at Hotel Charlie. The pros. Location is great. It’s right in the middle of the boardwalk. It’s quiet, and we did go in the off season. Easily accessible to the beach. Beds were comfy and clean. Now for the cons. Where do I begin? Place is run down and the room was dirty. Dust was visible throughout the room. Furniture looks like it has seen its better days. Parking lot can fit 5 cars maximum. There is a parking lot across the street, which they did let me park at. That was pretty small too. I get that it’s the Jersey Shore, and none of the places on the boardwalk look up to par, but this was ridiculous. I also got charged for an extra person at a whopping $116. They would not take the charge off. First night it was myself and my 3 children. Next night it was myself and 2 children. We were located on the 3rd floor so there is one staircase. Fire hazard?? Don’t look for food downstairs, the restaurant was closed the whole weekend. We made the best of the weekend but if I return to Seaside Heights I will definitely search for a different property,

Can't beat the location. The staff was great. Right on the boardwalk. Close to everything. My room was nice. The restroom featured a shower. It was clean and on the top floor which was great cause there was a deck with awesome views. Other guests were friendly. Will stay again

It was a good place for one night. Unfortunately the floor rugs in the room kept getting caught on the bathroom door. We also found that the hand rail to go up to the room wasn't attached to the wall.
