Aztec is fine if you need a place to stay but could use updating. Beds were clean and comfortable. Air conditioners leaked water every so often. Maintenance came to fix but the next day it happened again. Pool area is great, though pool is not heated, we enjoyed poolside room. Shower fixtures are very nice and shampoo/conditioner is provided. Connected to a restaurant that opens to the boardwalk. Great location! Lots of potential!

No parking on premises you have to go walk two blocks. The pool was insanely dirty and I’m not even that picky. The bathroom was horrific and the roll of toilet paper wasn’t even new upon checkin. Great location but hotel isn’t that great.

This property was amazing for what I wanted, needed and price. We had a balcony over looking the pool that I could also see the Ferris wheel. Room was clean besides under the beds needs some tlc. Would have been nice for a coffee pot in room but everything is walking distance or a quick drive that it was ok. Too cold for the pool but the pool was clean. right on boardwalk so made it easy to come and go especially with a five year old. I would definitely stay here again

Check in pretty good, has free parking either under covered of the hotel (20 spots only), or across the street. Most convenient location on the boardwalk. Pool is nice except some people brought their own speaker and blast the entire pool area. Nobody to stop them, also people smoke cigar at the pool area, nobody stopped them either.

The location of the property was fantastic. My family loved how you literally stepped outside and there was the beautiful lights of the ferris wheel. The location was very convenient. On the surface, the rooms and property appeared clean and well kept, however, once you got a closer look realized that everything was quite dirty and unsanitary. The air condition unit in our room was absolutely filthy dirty with globs of hair, dirt, mold, and sand blocking the vents and filter. I personally wound up cleaning and sanitizing the unit myself because I did not want my family breathing in whatever air was being pushed out of the filth. Plus, it looked like the AC unit was never cleaned since installing it. The floor in our room was ok, that is the floor that was only out in the open and visible. My son's shoe went under the bed and when I went to get it, I was appalled...there were all kinds of old food from previous guests under there along with dirt, hair, and I'm not ever sure and don't think I want to know what else was under there.

Disappointed with how you could hear everything as if windows and doors were left open. However, the worst part was the cleanliness. It was not clean. We checked in and staff were really nice. But qe couldnt stay. So we lost 2 nights worth of money and had to find another hotel. We couldnt stay in that. Hair and dirt in the bathtub/shower, dirt on the bed sheets and bed skirt.

The hotel room was very dirty. Floors were not washed, didn't want to use the shower at all. There was something in the room that got my daughter sick. Very bad allergic reaction to something. We left a night early.

The location is fantastic and is truly the best part of staying in this hotel. It is right on the boardwalk, and is 2 minutes to the beach. The rooms are not large, but do-able. The pool is an excellent size. It was also nice having the restaurant right on site to be able to grab a cocktail so close by. My only complaint would be that cleanliness of the room was substandard.There was still a jar of peanut butter in the refrigerator from the former guests and a bottle of shampoo in a plastic bag in the bathroom on the tub from the previous guests as well. There was no door to the freezer portion of the refrigerator which is not good for trying to freeze ice packs for our cooler for the beach. The balcony was nice to have but needed vacuuming. For a quick two night stay, it waa fine but if I was going to stay longer, I might look elsewhere since the price you're paying definitely is higher based on the location.

hotel location is great, you are right near the boarkwalk rides, beach, and water park. room was small with a tile floor that was sandy, the door didn't close very well (had a lot of play in it, loose).you can hear everything in the halls, poor sound proofing. parking kinda sucked, had to park across the street and halfway down the block in the hotel owned property lot. staff was very friendly. pool was large and clean with a deep end.

The staff was super friendly and the location was great. However, the floor of our room was very sandy when we . And the hotel was very noisy. The beds were not very comfortable and in our case, the headboards were not attached so they rocked and hit the wall a lot just turning over in your sleep and the pillows were super thin and barely there bring your own pillows.

The view from the room/balcony was fabulous. While the interior of the room was modernized, the furniture and beds ARE in NEED of being replaced. Very old and worn looking. The mattress extremely lumpy. The beds were completely made differently which made me think that they might have been slept in prior to my arrival and never had the sheets changed! Tub drain yukky and held water. AC unit fabulous and cold! Hallways horrible and needs to be remodeled. Terrible parking, had to walk a couple of blocks from parking lot. Elevator needs to be changed out. Buttons not working properly. Excellent location facing Casino Pier. Lobster Lounge restaurant..excellent! Fabulous ice machine in lobby. Would stay there again!!!

I stay here yearly couple times here staff always welcoming when I arrive. Room is always clean and love the new remodeling in the bathrooms. I highly recommend staying here walking to everything. Parking safe and convenient

No one was at the front desk when we arrived, so check-in took longer than expected. Room was clean, but dated including the furniture. The bed was comfortable, a/c worked well. Bathroom fixtures appeared to have been updated recently but the towels weren't. I know, sounds weird, but I like a nice towel when I get out of the shower. Pool chairs were uncomfortable. I saw at least 3 different styles, one was cracked. I got our beach chairs and we used them at the pool. The pool was clean but areas around it needed attention. Signs were confusing, some handwritten on cardboard, gates bent or crooked. There was a drain clean out in the parking garage leaking, don't know what it was. Overall we enjoyed ourselves, but some attention to details would have made it better.

Ben Pattel the manager was very rude when I told him at 1230 am that i was awaked by the room above me rolling what sounded like a bowling ball across the floor, our ceiling. Shower was broke. Toilet paper holder was missing. Room was clean. Super noisy spot. Save your money stay a couple blocks away.

There was no beach view! The room was dirty! The staff member that checked us in was not welcoming at all. The ad in Expedia was not at all factual. I would never recommend this motel to anyone and if I had not reserved through Expedia, I would have demanded my money back and gone somewhere else!

Staff was vwry respectful and attentive if we needed anything. Only thing i didn't like was the parking situation and no elevator but staff assisted beautifully. We will be back.

Just wanted to get away to the boardwalk with my older children, just the 3 of us! Weve been here many times but it had been years. What an incredible upgrade theyve made to the rooms!! It was beautiful and modernized! Awesome shower! Always a great place to stay, cant beat right on the boardwalk, and the evening movie by the pool!

Great experience our first visit to Seaside Heights and this place is smack dab in the perfect place! Literally on the boardwalk, steps to beach and restaurants. View was amazing. Everyone was nice, smooth check-in and out, and surprised not noisy at night. Definitely planning to return! Thanks to your all the staff :)

I loved this hotel because it was literally on the boardwalk so you would think it’s expensive but the total opposite it was super affordable nice big clean pool. The staff when we checked in were very nice and very informative, even gave us a book with activities and restaurants in the nearby area. The room was very clean, no odor, and stocked with towels ! The guest in the hotel were also respectful even with so many young teenagers staying as well. Even has an attached bar and lounge ! They even have their own private parking lot one block away. It was a great stay I have no complaints. I would definitely return.

Though the rooms appear to have been newly renovated, the work wasn’t great. There was clear water damage and poor repairs. Our toilet overflowed and we were just offered a plunger to fix ourselves. We then spent all our towels cleaning the water off the floors. When asked for additional bedding, staff appeared annoyed by giggling out of disbelief. The hotel restaurant food options were limited for kids and bread for sandwiches were not fresh. Our family who were also guest, weren’t offered beach badges as we were and weren’t offered parking (probably due to limited availability but they were elderly and treated differently than we were). The best part of the hotel is the location, as we were able to utilize hotel parking the entire stay access the boardwalk right off the hotel.

The Aztec used to be a hot spot to stay at while at seaside. That ended about 10 years ago. The property is run down , they still ask for a 200.00 deposit and the air tin the restaurant and the rooms need updating . Lastly the shower which looked fancy didn’t work. When I checked out at 10am which is a hr earlier than almost all the other places in town. She didn’t even apologize or offer another room for a hr to shower only said ok then walked away.

We loved bring right off the boardwalk. The restaurant changed owners and we couldn’t enter from the hotel area this year. There was mold all over our shower curtain, not the cleanest hotel but stay here for convenience and the front desk staff are excellent.

The location is fantastic and is truly the best part of staying in this hotel. It is right on the boardwalk, and is 2 minutes to the beach. The rooms are not large, but do-able. The pool is an excellent size. It was also nice having the restaurant right on site to be able to grab a cocktail so close by. My only complaint would be that cleanliness of the room was substandard.There was still a jar of peanut butter in the refrigerator from the former guests and a bottle of shampoo in a plastic bag in the bathroom on the tub from the previous guests as well. There was no door to the freezer portion of the refrigerator which is not good for trying to freeze ice packs for our cooler for the beach. The balcony was nice to have but needed vacuuming. For a quick two night stay, it waa fine but if I was going to stay longer, I might look elsewhere since the price you're paying definitely is higher based on the location.

The view from the room/balcony was fabulous. While the interior of the room was modernized, the furniture and beds ARE in NEED of being replaced. Very old and worn looking. The mattress extremely lumpy. The beds were completely made differently which made me think that they might have been slept in prior to my arrival and never had the sheets changed! Tub drain yukky and held water. AC unit fabulous and cold! Hallways horrible and needs to be remodeled. Terrible parking, had to walk a couple of blocks from parking lot. Elevator needs to be changed out. Buttons not working properly. Excellent location facing Casino Pier. Lobster Lounge restaurant..excellent! Fabulous ice machine in lobby. Would stay there again!!!
