We had a great experience overall during our short stay. Would have been nice to be given the option of self-parking though. The only option this hotel offered is valet, which can get pretty expensive. There is a public parking garage next door though. Will stay here again!

First off there was no warning that the pool and hot tub were closed. We usually enjoy using both of these when staying at a hotel. We were in are sprinter van and were told they wouldn’t be able to park it we’d have to park it in an unsecured parking lot a few blocks away. We had some very expensive toys in the van and always park it valet so that it’s less likely to be broken in to.

The staff was very courteous and the rooms were clean with utensils, plates etc stocked up in the room's kitchen. The pool was a little dirty. Really enjoyed the fitness center. They also had a spa and free sauna which I didn't use.

There were a lot of people and only one hot tub was working. On our last night (thank goodness} we were awoken at 4:00 am with the hammering that was taking place right outside our windows as they were putting up the carnival rides!! We were quite surprised to awake to find a Ferris wheel that we could almost reach out and touch just out of our kitchen window! If we get back to Tahoe at this time of year, we will know to ask for a room away from the front of the property, other than the early wake up all was good.

I stayed from July 28th to 30th. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. However, the following 3 problems were what I encountered: 1. There is a smell of cigarette smoke in the room. I asked to change rooms but was refused. They said there were no other rooms. 2. The bed is too old. The center of the bed was bent. 3. Only valet parking is allowed, and sometimes you may have to wait 10 to 20 minutes for return/pick-up. As you know, this is not a cheap hotel. Definitely need to improve problems #1 and 2 that I had.

The location is good. You can walk to everything, including the gondola. The room was moldy, and when we checked it the place was dirty. I am not really picky, but it was clear the bathroom had not been cleaned and there was food on the wall in several places. We looked at the jacuzzi, but decided to pass because it didn\'t look clean either. People cook in the rooms and the fire alarms go off frequently. The rooms are small, so they fill up with smoke. In 4 days, I think the alarm went off 6-7 times. Lastly, the valet hit the top of my car with the gate. When I called the attendant said "are you the guy who owned the car that got hit by the gate". I asked him why no one said anything, and he said they were busy. Now his manager is ghosting me. Gonna try again to reach his manager, but she is ghosting me. if you use the garage you should check the car over top to bottom.

This property exceeded our expectations. The kitchen area was so well kitted out with everything you could want for a self catering stay. The apartment was really spacious and comfortable. It was so easy to go skiing in the morning as the gondola station is a few steps outside the hotel.

The room itself was nice and had everything we needed. However, the bed and pillows were some of the most uncomfortable that i’ve ever experienced during a stay somewhere. It made it hard to fall and stay asleep during my stay.

The only reason why I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 Is because the bed sinks quite a bit and Is rather uncomfortable but everything else was perfect. Location is prime and some of the best housekeepers I’ve ever encountered. Front desk staff was very sweet. I didn’t smell cigarettes at all like many have said. It’s just an overall great hotel in a great location! Is it over the top fancy? No but who cares when there’s so much to do in heavenly!! Tip: I used the South Lake Tahoe Airporter to get to and from RNO. It dropped me off at Harrah’s which is a 10 minute walk and it’s a beautiful, peaceful walk with a lot to see. Picks up at Harrahs, too! Its $60 round trip which isn’t bad considering how long the ride is.

The location is great in the middle of shops and restaurants. The property itself does need an upgrade. The mattress sinks in, the pillows are too high and hard. I would recommend bringing your own pillows. The 4th floor smelled like fish 2 days straight. We would go around to avoid the smell. Also one of the jacuzzi’s didn’t work. Overall they need to put some money back into the hotel.

Had a studio, large room with a fully supplied kitchen. Very clean with a comfy bed but bring your own pillows if you can. We were in the 5th floor overlooking the pool. It was nice and quiet…overall loved this room. Have stayed here before and this room was bigger and in a better, quieter location. Walkable to everything.

Staff was very friendly and helpful, and allowed us a late check-out which was a life saver. The location can't be beat and the valet parking was very convenient. The view from our room wasn't great, and since the windows were mostly covered by trees the rooms were quite dark our entire stay. This was fine, maybe just not ideal.

Nice location in the heart of the village. The rooms were louder than expected as they’re on the Main Street. This definitely interrupted the peacefulness of our stay.

Great place with easy access to the Gondola! Huge rooms just nice for 8 people! Fire place in the room and fully equipped kitchen! Walking distance to restaurants, ski rentals etc! Will stay again!

We enjoyed our stay at the resort. The staff were friendly and service was excellent. Our room was like a nice apartment with the benefit of being close to the gondola, restaurants and live entertainment. The weather was perfect! We had a blast.

The property referred us to the on site spa. Was told that they highly recommend the spa. This is not a spa- this is a dirty cheap shop that claims to do massage. Requested the hot stone massage and all the massage therapist did was complain about how hot the stones were and she was unable to touch them. This was such a unprofessional place, they changed the location of our masage 10 minutes before our services the only way I found out was because I called to confirm. Had us fill out paperwork, which the therapist never ever went over with us. the location is in a back room of a store which is loud. I called the marriott and was told they would call me bck which never happend.

No one at this property is customer centric. The customer service was horrible. Step out to Heavenly property and the customer service is AMAZING. Inside this property and they are short, abrupt, and rude. They aren’t even interested in trying to make the experience one that would be enjoyable. Every conversation was what they couldn’t do or wouldn’t do. This is the second time we’ve been to Tahoe and we wanted to stay near the Gondola but other than proximity, it wasn’t worth it. Marriott should be checking this property, time share or not.

I’ve stayed at this property several times and this is the second time that I have had issues with the AC turning off every couple of hrs in the middle of the night. After first night I contacted the front desk who said they would send someone to fix it. We returned to the room later and found the filter to the AC on the floor and assumed that the problem was fixed. However, it was not. We continued to have the same issue the remaining 3 nights.

Location, location, location! You couldnt beat the location at the bottom of the gondola. Base camp pizza is awesome. The price was reasonable considering the location. Overall, a wonderful experience.

What a great location. Walkable to everything including the gondola. Restaurants at every corner. Perfect stay and location for a ski getaway weekend. Staff and as super friendly and helpful. The snowshoe excursion was so great and Kristen our guide made it so much fun.

Lovely property in the heart of Heavenly Village. Many shops and restaurants are within easy walking distance. The one bedroom unit was comfortable with well equipped kitchen. The large pool area has two jacuzzis. The one downside is there is no view of the Lake from the property.

They have downgraded lots of the little things. No longer roll away beds. No cookies at checkin. No longer beverage or food service by the pool. It’s a nice place but they have cut back.

The room was great but I was very disappointed on no balcony and looks like every room but ours had one. I did wish there was at least a bar or something inside the hotel. Otherwise was great with a great location and loved the 2nd bathroom and like a small apartment. We really enjoyed it.
