This was right off the highway and convenient considering we had a big box truck and trailer. We were able to park behind the property. Cleanliness is one of my biggest concerns and this place was clean.

After checkin we were told to climb a long stairway to our second floor room, there was ‘NO ELEVATOR”!!!! No offer to use a freight elevator or help with our luggage! We were told there were no 1st floor rooms available. We are seniors and I felt this was very unsafe!! We have never stayed in a hotel without a guest elevator! How does this pass ADA requirements??

When I washed my hands in the bathroom sink for the first time, bugs flew out. The bathroom in general was pretty dirty. The guests in the room next to me and across the hall from me were in and out of their room all night long. I had 5 hours of sleep maximum after a 12 hour drive and had to drive 11 hours the next day not feeling rested. I was also paranoid about the potential of bringing bedbugs or lice home with me after seeing those initial bugs/the lack of cleanliness in the room.

I was impressed this was a Days Inn. The furniture looked more like a higher end hotel and the room was spotless. Carpet and fixtures appear to be new. Excellent room for the price, highly recommend.

Property was under obvious renovations. Filthy first floor, second floor was full of boxes and trash which made it hard to navigate to rooms. I understand the need for upkeep but there is a way to do so without having the place look so disgusting and cluttered.

The property is actually very good. Even though it sits right next to the interstate we couldn't hear anything at all from car or truck noise. The parking lot was clean and bright so we were not that worried about leaving her car out there all night long. The room was very comfortable. The bathroom was fairly small and the toilet was actually a bit of a surprise because it was more of a dollhouse size then a real house size. If you weren't very careful when sitting down you could fall. And you almost needed a grab bar to pull yourself out. And I'm not all that old. But overall, I'd stay there again and it was good value for the money.

The lady doing the check-in did not know how to check us in and double charged us for both rooms and the deposits. The manager in the morning did not know how to fix it either. There was no parking available. The hotel was very outdated and old, and dirty.

Front desk clerk very helpful. The last two hotels I have stayed at I have tried to get a rewards number. I barely mentioned it to the clerk and before I left her desk I had a number. Very impressed with your facility.

Check in was going well, until we were told that there was going to be a $50 additional hold.. There was no notice of the fee in anything we read in the itinerary. THEN,we were told it would take 5 to 10 days to credit it back to our account. UP TO 10 DAYS, UTTERLY RIDICULOUS!!!! Definitely changed our mind about staying there again!!!!

The Grand Island Days Inn I-80 is a good choice for travelers on a budget who want easy on-off access to the interstate. It's a ways from town, 8-9 miles each way, so few restaurants deliver. There are a couple of eateries across the highway, and if you want to make the drive there are a number of options downtown. Staff were OK, overnight front desk staff had better people skills than afternoon check in staff, but all were helpful. Room was just fine for the price, everything worked. Beds were definitely smaller than queen size but comfortable for a single person. Best thing in the area was the state recreation area across the highway, worth visiting for hiking/fishing/swimming.

Was not aware of construction on property. The whole fist floor and parts of 2nd not accessible. Not ADA friendly as no elevatots available. Had to haul luggage up steps. Very noisy in room and people coming in/out. Overpriced for what was available or not available.

Needed room for 1 night. We have stayed here before because of the proximity to I 80 and price. The property has been updated since last spring. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast options are still limited-hit and cold cereals, waffles, bread, yogurt-but there is an option to purchase from a buffet ext door.

Very nice stay. Desk clerk very friendly even called our room to find out if we needed anything. Room was fresh and comfortable. Only downside was the very low water pressure in the shower… just dribbled out… Breakfast was very basic… no hot dishes but they did check and refill utensils and coffee machine.

This is a newly renovated hotel. It's very clean, smells pleasant and our bed was very comfortable. But don't count on the breakfast provided. They have cereal, toast, yogurt, and waffles. For drinks the juice machine is out of order but they put a gallon of orange juice in a small fridge and there's coffee.
