The pool was freezing, and unusable. The bathroom water would not warm enough to take a decent shower, and could not even give my grandson a bath, the tub stopper did not work. Most of the stuff that was down for the breakfast was stale. Traffic noise was horrible all night, should be a jakebrake free zone.

Noise a lot from parking lot. . Pool was cold and dirty. Pool infiltration was not running. Room blow dry not working and coffee maker was broken. First room had a terrible odor and they gave us new room. Breakfast was good and well stocked.

Beware! The host double charged me for the stay plus the $50 hold but she couldn't undo the charge until I checked out. Then when I checked out the wrong amount was refunded in my account and then taken out, only to be refunded the correct amount. There were plenty of breakfast options. The workout area clean. The treadmill didnt work so I used the elliptical machine. I wouldn't stay there again.

Hotel was decent, for the facilities provided it should have been still cheaper. Rooms were outdated and appeared cheap. Didn't have choice to select rooms, was offered room on first floor with cheap vinyl blinds, they did not even have curtains, room was bright at night from outdoor lights. The TV in the room was very old LCD model, had to view at certain angle to be visible. The pool was under construction which was not mentioned while booking, but was allowed to use neighboring pool at Hampton Inn.

This hotel was nice, they had a laundry area. Very clean hotel. Restaurant close by. Staff was really nice, indoor pool is small though. However the toilets are low flow and are annoying to get to flush.

I never checked in. I reserved this hotel bc it was the better rate in town AND it had a pool. The whole reason we reserved it was bc it had a pool. We got there and the pool was closed until 3 days later. Needless to say we never checked in and went to a different hotel. If your amenities arent in service, then it should be VERY CLEAR for people making reservations. Then, microtel preceeded to call me...TWICE at 1:30 IN THE MORNING!

Been staying here annually for a job for 6 years. Gotten worse every year. This year ZERO room attendance - no beds, no new towels, no trash taken. Nothing. Pool "temporarily" out of service for the 4th straight year. Parking lot full of holes. Time to look up the Hampton next door.

Pool was out of order (a few hours after my initial questions about the pool I was made aware it was suddenly open but it was very cloudy and not very clean looking),spa tub was filled with concrete and permanantly closed,holes in carpet,cobwebs in the corners,mini fridge was slightly above room temperature. Conversations with staff and management didn't get far,tried to get refund to move to another local hotel and was told I wouldn't be able to talk to get an answer from a manager until Monday 3 days after my check in.i will take this to corporate office if it isn't resolved locally

I was traveling through the area after seeing family and needed a quiet and clean place to sleep. The first room I was given did not have working heat (room 102). They quickly offered another room. The light for the entry way/main area of the room did not work. It was something I was too tired to deal with although I did make staff aware. However, the room was unclean. There was a partially eaten apple under the bed, socks under the heating unit and a lot of mold in the shower. It was really disappointing as I normally trust the Microtel brand. I tried to load the photos, but it did not work.

It would have nice to now about renovation prior to one days notice . They surely knew prior to our vist this was going to happen . Dusty & dirty . No breakfast as advertised. Received a handicap room that was not required. No place in bathroom to place toiletries items . Bath sink handle leaked. Had to return to my vehicle for blowddyer for wife. This was just a resting spot for a few hours before continuing on our journey. As we take this same trip every year, Im sure Ill be looking for other accommodation

The room was not very clean. We found black hairs on the bed and I. The bathroom. The floors were dirty. The hotel was VERY noisy. We could hear a lot of traffic noise from the highway, this hotel sits very very close to the highway. Another room next door had their TV on loudly the entire night and we barely slept. We had to end up going to Walmart nearby and buying a sound machine to drown out the noises. The breakfast buffet was terrible. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel.

It was clean enough but it’s a little older still. Like maybe they did an update on surface level stuff but not an actual renovation. 3rd floor room by the elevator was pretty loud, you could hear everyone get on and off the elevator. Room walls are thin too and highway noise was pretty loud when trucks came by. Also, the mattress springs squeak every time you move at night. Front desk staff were kind. Would probably stay again because it was $60 cheaper than Hampton Inn and it was only one night.

As we left to attend a family reunion, I specifically asked for room service to clean my room (208), put on clean sheets, and to give us fresh towels. The front desk clerk said she would take care of it. As I returned in the late afternoon, I found that I was locked out of my room and had to go back to the front desk to get new keys. When I opened the door to my room, I found that nothing had been done. I had to make the bed myself and exchange the used linens and towels, which the front desk person had to provide, since the room service staff had gone home for the day. I told him I did not expect to pay for my room, since it was never cleaned or serviced. When I left the next day, Stephanie told me that there was very limited or no room service on the weekends, due to a staff shortage. I was never informed of that policy when I paid for the room. She said she would talk to the hotel's GM.

I stayed here on (2) separate occasions and I was overcharged both times! The manager on duty at the time, horrible! Front desk staff needs more training, everyone needs more training including the manager!!! Very disappointed with the interaction I had in person and over the phone….

Front staff checking in were uninterested in finding out if we could use our rewards and after annoying them for far too long it seemed, we gave up. There was no hairdryer in the room and when calling down asking if they had any at the desk we were told they had no stock of them. Buy more hairdryers or take it off the website that they are included in your stay so people know to bring their own. 20 degree weather with wet hair wasn’t ideal for our day at an outside festival. They did give us a small discount on the room for the hairdryer so that was a plus. Probably wouldn’t stay there again

When checked in and given room cards went and unlocked room and it was OCCUPIED!!!. Desk clerk gave wrong room. Not sure how that hapoens if already OCCUPIED. Pool heater didn't work and hot tub was no longer from the time I booked room. Was told we could use Hampton Inn but when went there the jets to the hot tub did not work. Communicate between hotels if you are offering their services.

Saturday night between 9:30p & 12:30a, a large family group was staying on my floor (2nd), and the children were slamming doors and running up and down the hallway till after midnight. And upon check out at 8a on Sunday I saw my Credit Card was charged for the two night stay. I paid thru Expedia on April 14, of this year. Now I have to call the hotel and contest this double billing !

Overall it was a pleasant stay. The accommodations were completely acceptable for the price. The only issue came on the first night when 2 drunk women opened our room with the key that they were given. Luckily we had the interior security lock on, but they reached in and flicked the light on then off, then on again. We had to go to the front desk to get all keys to our room deactivated, then new keys issued. I have stayed in hotels for decades and this is the first time that this has happened. Apparently the room was not removed from inventory when we checked in, and it was assigned to these other ladies as well. I guess we can be happy that we weren't attacked or something like that.

Nice - conveniently located hotel. Very clean. My only comment is that we were on the highway side of the hotel and found the noise from the trucks on the highway disruptive for sleeping.

Checked in late night on a trip, staff was helpful and quick to get to our room. Room was clean, stay was fine! Easy access to the highway and offered a late checkout with us arriving at nearly 2am.

The room was clean, the staff was friendly. The pool was clean. Breakfast was satisfactory if you're going for cereal or bread products. The eggs were in bags to microwave and did not look appetizing. Our room was on the top floor, closest to the interstate. It was very loud when trucks would drive by. Turned the fan on for white noise. It helped a little, but rough night's sleep. Our shower drain was clogged. The water was up to our ankles by the time the shower was over. I was told by a staff member that the drains get slow when they are busy. I only half believe that because my two sons took showers around 7:30-8pm and I can't imagine that the hotel was full at that point or that everyone was taking a shower at the same time. It eventually drained, but took a long time.
