Loved breakfast options!! Indoor pool and overall cleanliness!!

my little girl fell 3 times around the pool bc of how slick it is. i would recommend some mats of some sort, just something to make you feel like you have support under your feet when you get out. overall we had a great time

Pool was shut down for the night which was disappointing as we stay there with our baseball team often. But other than that everything else was great.

I am a smoker, so I really enjoyed the nice outdoor gazebo and it has a nice view of the mountains. Room and beds were nice. Bath kind of odd with a corner sink. Also there were no cleaning/bathing products in the shower containers. Personnel were prompt and pleasant. Breakfast was an average "hot" hotel free breakfast, good, but nothing special. Room rate was on the high side, but reasonable for the area. I would stay there again.

We loved that the indoor pool was actually warm.

We were disappointed that a heated pool had cold water and the air was so full of chlorine it burned your eyes for a while after you left the pool area.

Very clean and easy parking with a trailer.

It was great. The staff was good and so were the facilities. We had a bbq outside with our family and the area was very nice. The only thing was the bathroom floors were not very clean.

Beds were very comfortable. The property was clean. Breakfast area was well stocked and kept clean. A few things we didn't love: we used the linen set that was bagged up in the closet to make up the couch bed and when putting pillows cases on the pillows, the pillows had a noticeable sweaty/oily/used smell, and no pillow protectors were on any of the pillows in the room. I am very sensitive to smells so maybe other people don't notice, but I can tell and it grosses me out that pillow protectors aren't used to keep things like that from penetrating past the pillowcase. Secondly, housekeeping only services the room every 3 days unless you ask sooner. We were a party of 3 and were given, I think, 4 bath towels initially. I didn't realize that they were not coming into the room at all for 3 days. At other properties they tend to come in and change out the towels at least daily, but don't vacuum and make the beds and whatnot. I felt like I would be a burden if I asked for service of the room, so instead I just asked for a couple extra towels which they gave us with no issues. We also requested 2 extra pillows because the pillows are very very soft and not supportive so you may need to bring one from home if you're used to a firm or supportive pillow. The pool only goes to 4 feet, is indoor and heated. The pool room is extremely hot and muggy, miserably so, and could use more ventilation. There was stuff on the curtains, vent in the bathroom didn’t work, and a hornets nest in the bushes next to the parking spot.

Nice building but poorly managed. Room was ok but halls and elevator were filthy.

We checked into our room a little after 3:00 pm. We were here to go see our grandson played football. We brought in our bag, pillows and a small fried pie. We left about 4:15 nd drove over an hour to the game. We got back after midnight. When my husband went to eat the pie it was full of ants. Now I feel like I have ants crawling lol over me. The room is very nice. However I won’t stay here again.

Clean facility and staff was helpful. Everything went without a hitch with no issues at all.

There were a lot of stank bugs in our room about 60 of them on our beds walls curtains. Thy switched us to another roof and it had the same problem . They had to move us 3x but didn’t feel comfortable because we kept thinking the bugs would crawl on us

Only issue was there were bugs in our room on the ceiling! The hotel staff moved us which was nice.

Wonderful hotel. Very clean and quiet, well maintained. Front desk staff was friendly and efficient, the checkin is touch-less, which I appreciate, no one touches your credit card. Rooms are large, beds are comfy and plenty of soft pillows. I would definitely stay here again.

The shower head needed replacing and the sink faucet was loose. The Chanel selection was extremely cumbersome. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was good and basic. I would stay at this facility again when in the area.

Great hotel with great views of the mountains. Easy to get in and out, yet safe and quiet. Rooms were clean and up to date. Wonderful experience!

The room smelled musty and the AC unit is old and noisy. The bed was a bit firm and could feel the springs in it.

Our room was clean and quiet. It could use some updates and minor repairs. The ceiling had stains apparently from a roof leak. The toilet didnt flush very well. The bed was very comfortable and we loved the 2 tvs that had many good channels. The water pressure in the shower was not very high but was acceptable. Overall, a good stay and we woild stay here again.

We were greeted by a kind staff member (do not recall his name) who answered all our questions and gave us our key. The room was large and very clean. We could not hear any noise from the road or other guest. Highly recommend.

The WiFi connection was weak but overall it was a great experience.

The gentleman that was working the desk was amazingly patient. He had a hotel full of young athletes. Loud and energetic. The heater/air conditioning unit in our room did not work. We looked at it and the filters were full of thick crud and dirt. We had to remove them. We were in 216. There was mold in the bathroom. Baseboards and flat surfaces needed wiped down.

Great customer service. Quick check in and clean room. Very pleased.

Because I live within 50 miles they would not rent me a room. My husband and I just wanted to get away for the night and had to go to the Fairfield Marriott down the street.

From the time we entered the hotel, Megan extended Superior Customer Service. She was extremely kind, helpful, informative and professional. Also the entire staff extended the same highest customer service too. The staff greeted us with a smile and kindness. Anytime we needed help with anything the entire staff was there to extend. Thank you Comfort Inn for having the best team of employees at this location. I highly recommend this location and I will definitely come back again.

It was a terrible stay. Prior to arriving I logged into the Hilton app and selected the room my family and I desired. When we checked in at the hotel front desk, we were told that room was no longer available but the gentleman told us he could get us in another one on the same floor. He then handed us a room key but wrote on it, the number of a room that was 2 floors down than the one we chose. When i asked him, he said “oh I’m sorry, you’re right… there are no rooms available on that floor now”. I said it was okay.. went upstairs only to enter into a room with a DISGUSTING floor. I mean, dead spiders, food crumbs etc. I called to the front desk and the gentlemen said he would send housekeeping up. 2 hours later, no one had come. Called a 2nd time, a woman answered and said she would put in a request for housekeeping 20 minutes later, a woman shows up… walks into the room looking around and says “so i hear the room is not up to your standards”, i pointed out all the dead spiders and other things, and she said “oh i see that, but can you give me just a second, like 20 minutes max”, i said “sure that’s fine”. Went to dinner, came back about 2.5 hours later, to still, a dirt room.. i had received a text while out asking me how the stay was going, so i decided to respond to that with all of these issues. a gentleman calls me and apologizes and offers to give me a discount on our stay.. i take it, he says he will send someone up to clean and that happened about 1.5 hours later.

I was denied a room because I lived to close to the hotel. I had just gotten done working a 18 hr day and I was just needing a room to get a little sleep before having to go back into work. But Nope they denied me

Rude front desk clerk! Refused to let me have late check out

Desk clerk was arrogant and dismissive. Said they would not give us a room because we lived 35 miles away and we're 'local'. No apologies, just an 'oh well' attitude.

Our stay was good the room was clean everywhere in general was clean and no smells. The only issue we had on this one night stay was the morning we left the food service help did not show up so we had limited food that morning but there were things we were good with. That aside the stay was great.

Overall our stay was good. Rooms were nice and very clean. My only complaint is that our room was not ready when we arrived. Check in was at 3:00 and our room was not ready until 4:30.

Staff quickly corrected an issue with the room. And put me in another room within minutes.

Located in a less than desirable location

A wonderful place to stay. Beautiful views of Bay mountain. We stay at this property when in Tri city area.

room was comfortable, Location is convenient, located by itself on top of a hill in an up and coming part of town. it was quiet for now but they will eventually develop behind the hotel so who knows in the future. breakfast was well stocked

It was close to dining options and our family living in the area

Hotel is conveniently lactated right off the interstate and close to several restaurants. It’s also less than 10 minutes from Domtar Park!

The staff was so friendly we had so much fun just talking with them. They gave us plenty of information about the area and how to get to places. I loved the location at the top of the hill. It felt very secluded and safe. The rooms were large and comfortable we will be staying here again when we are in the area. I highly recommend this one.

I had a great stay last week at Comfort Suites in Kingsport, VA. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Beds were very comfortable and nice pillows. Liked having the sofa and extra TV. Breakfast was very good and this is a good location and quiet.

Every staff member we met was friendly, courtesy, and helpful. The breakfast was outstanding, the room was fantastic. Out of the 3 hotels there, this rates the best; a perfect score-10 out of 10!!

We’ve stayed here a number of times and the accommodations are pleasant, and the staff friendly. The complimentary breakfast is above average.

The over of clean was great. The breakfast was not good at all…. But I have a service dog and it was very bothersome when my husband came back in and one of the older ladies was talking about it behind our back and was talking to another customer about it. It was very rude of her to do that!!!! So I won’t stay there again

Check in staff was very friendly. Hotel was clean. Shower was a little worn, but clean. Bed was very comfortable. Air conditioner/heater was a little loud, but worked well. Room was very spacious. Plenty of towels, which was a huge plus. Breakfast was standard free breakfast. Eating area was exceptionally clean and the woman who was working the breakfast bar was working very hard and was very polite and friendly. Price was as expected . I would definitely recommend and would stay again for sure.
