Element by Marriott Omaha Midtown Crossing

This place was very nice! The room was clean and modern. Parking was convenient. It’s a parking garage and costs daily with the Hotel. It was affordable though!

I was impressed by the fitness equipment available in the gym!

Hotel was easy to get to from the highway. It was a bummer to have to pay for parking, but it was probably safer than using street parking, based on the looks of the area around the hotel. Lobby looked nice and had lots of areas to lounge. But check-in was awkward, as there was only one staff member at the desk and they were very stressed about the broken front door. Very understandable, considering that once you entered into the lobby you could not get back out because the motion sensor was broken or something. Literally several parties were stuck in the doorway, waiting for someone to happen to walk by the door from the outside. Awkward. Room was fine. It was showing it’s age with broken corners of things, peeling laminate, and stains all over the couch. Paid for a king bed, but I’m not sure if that’s what we got… The BEST thing about the hotel was its free breakfast. Very impressed by the spread and quality of food. There were plenty of places to sit and enjoy the meal even with it being a busy Saturday morning. Bed linens were also nice, very crisp and clean. Having a kitchenette with full fridge, stovetop, dishwasher, and cooking/eating utensils was great. All in all, it was a decent stay.

I didn't like the parking situation. The parking lot was scary and the price was too high. There was no hot water!!! Checked out after the first night and am waiting on them to contact me about a refund for the second night.

The shuttle was convenient and easy to use. The staff was friendly.

It was fine but both rooms were missing the sofas that were supposed to come with them and ones phone wasn’t even plugged in to use and just didn’t end up working. Leaving the parking garage was also an issue. You have to use the paper ticket instead of the room keys and the front desk told me to come back and bring my paper ticket and she gave me a different one that should have worked for the gate and said if there is any issues to use the gate attendant but mentioned she was “not too happy with the front desk”. The “push for assistance” woman that is supposed to be of assistance said that the front desk wasn’t part of the hotel so not use them for issues with the gate? Just wasn’t helpful and had a bad attitude so that for sure left a sour taste when we were leaving. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was great! Just hate to have issues with some of the stay.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, a little bit noisy late night, but the thing I was kind of upset “ : airport shuttle! Just between 11AM to 10 or 11PM . So, early flights, get your Uber or Lyft reservation 🙄😒

We had a very enjoyable stay. Their gym facilities were great! We were close to downtown. The room was clean and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was very delicious.

This was our second stay at Element and I was disappointed. The room felt dirty with obvious smears on the closet door and mold on the chalk in the shower. Shower door was hard to open and close. Luckily, it was a convenient location for our visit to Omaha.

We would not stay here again!!! The location was put of our way. The parking garage (@$15/night) was super inconvenient. The building layout is not ideal. The elevator is at one end of the building. The main lobby/breakfast area was FREEZING So breakfast was COLD! NOT clean! The bathroom floor was filthy! As was the shower! Our TV didn't work and couldn't be fixed. Tons of other places stay elsewhere!

Very clean room, comfortable beds, and helpful staff.

The property was in an overall decent condition. The room we were put into was dirty, had old trash, lots and lots of dust bunnies, sticky stuff on counter tops, the list can go on. We had to go buy our own cleaning items as there was nothing they could do about moving us to another room or getting housekeeping in there to clean it. The windows are so thin you hear traffic all night/day.

Our room did not appear cleaned prior to arrival and was very dirty. We asked for a change in rooms and the attendant was very friendly in helping us out. Our second room was much cleaner but still had a strong, off smell.

Lightbulbs out, hole in ceiling above breakfast area, elevators very messy on floor and doors, strong smell of marijuana in hallways and elevators. Our room's sink didn't drain, the toilet paper dispenser rotated on the wall, and on and on.

It's a good hotel, but the customer service could be better. I just stayed one night on my way to Chicago. It's clean but starting to look run down.

We stayed one night for a girls trip. The room was amazing - way more than we expected. Front desk was great. Breakfast was really good. Will be staying her again.

Do not recommend at all, if you want to be able to sleep AVOID this hotel, you can hear everything, it might look pretty but the walls are too thin, you can hear all the doors slamming from outside and street noise.

We really liked the hotel! Our only complaint would be that was a rather small room and that it was noisy. Dodge street is right next to it and you could hear the cars while in your room and could hear the doors in the hallway slam shut as well as the people in the hallway talking. Beautiful area and amazing foodand shopping nearby.

Pros: Clean room and attentive staff. Modern styling. Comfortable beds. Stocked kitchen. Excellent value for the money. Very good all you can eat breakfast including fresh made pancakes, sausage, biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, make your own waffles, yogurt bar, etc... Cons: Traffic noise can be pretty loud in an otherwise quiet room. Parking is $15 extra per night. If you are the type that wants to be able to protect yourself; the property including the hotel, parking garage, and surrounding park are a gun free zone; plan accordingly.

Stayed a couple of nights. Modern, clean and good location. Included breakfast was great You must request housekeeping and they centrally control the room temperature. Room temp change must be requested from the front desk. Nice for eco conscience but a bit annoying. Would stay again.

Good: the King suite was spacious and clean with all the bits and bobs you'd need in the kitchenette. Bad: it's right next to the highway so traffic noise is an issue (recommend white noise app on your phone). Unforgivable: they shut the water off at 10 am without any notice (even though checkout is at noon) and thought a $25 credit would be ok to compensate for having to brush our teeth with bottled water and not get a shower.

We loved the room and the 2 room layout. We were in a suite with a kitchen which was very spacious. However, the car traffic - particulary late night RACING - on Dodge street was annoying and disturbed what should have been a peaceful night's rest. We don't expect the staff/management can do anything about that but other travelers should be aware. The room safe was broken and we had difficulty getting how water from the bathroom sink. Also, the desk staff was not unkind but not as 'hospitable' as we've come to expect in the hospitality industry.

Last time we stayed, we had a corner suite which was much larger than the one we just stayed in. This room has no screens on the window (safety). There was no bedding for the pull out--they wouldnt bring it up to us, so literally were dressed for bed and had to run down to the lobby to get it. The evening front desk lady.. Angeline? Same lady as last time and she is incredibly rude. Like almost insulted we are there. She sits in the back cubby until you make her come out to service you. Breakfast was always great though.

I booked this location through Orbitz for my mom. When she checked in they asked for her credit card for incidentals which is ok but they charged her for the room too and now noone will call me back. Noone from Orbitz and noone from Element. Super tired of chasing people for their mess up. I just want my money back.

My wife and I stayed there once and liked it quite a bit. The last two times we tried to stay there we arrive to a room accidentally given away computer cliche whatever and sent away. They did set us up with a room at Hilton garden inn for the mistake which we were told was a little ways up the road. 20 minutes later we were there around midnight lol but we do now know where to stay from here on out in Omaha. We also know we will never ever try to stay at element again which is too bad our first stay there is tied to some special times but their inability to ensure a room and the last minute scrambles in the middle of the night dragging our stuff back to the car and traveling to a different hotel is just not worth it. Lately we are coming here pretty much every other week so Element picked a chose a good one to push away to a different hotel.

I was greeted by a very nice and professional front desk staff member by the name of Robert. The hotel, front the lobby to my room is clean and pleasant smelling. Nice room amenities and comfortable bedding. Highly recommend this hotel.

All the staff at Element Omaha Midtown Crossing was excellent. I do have to give a special shout out to the staff working the complimentary breakfast buffet schedule. they went out of their way to accommodate a special request from my mom and they were all smiles and super friendly. Looking forward to staying there again.

Staff at front desk was genuinely helpful, courteous and refreshingly friendly. Breakfast staff was so patient with rude guests.. quick on their feet to clean, add fresh food replacements and smiling. Awesome

At check-in and the other two times I had reason to visit the front desk, there was an "I'm away from my station" sign, and there were longer than usual waits. It's disappointing that you are understaffed. Perhaps it was because of the holiday, but still an issue.

Element is a great stay, especially for the price. This is in an excellent location. The rooms are perfect.

It was a very clean and friendly hotel. The breakfast was great and had a lot of options. It is the perfect location next to Turner Park and has many food and shopping advantages.

The hotel is conveniently located and not too far from the downtown and the Old Market area. Old Market is a nice walkable area with lots of shops and places to eat. The hotel room, was more of a suite than a room and very clean. There's a stove,oven, microwave and a refrigerator in the room and the bed was very comfortable. We were there through the weekend and it was very quiet at night. We went walking around the area and there are shops and a few places to eat nearby. There was a convenient grocery store next to the hotel, but it was closed permanently but there is a Walgreen's within walking distance. This was our second time here and when I visit Omaha again I will come back to the Element.

Hotel was clean, my husband and I were pleased with the size of the room especially with how much we paid, we liked the location was so close to downtown. Breakfast was really good, the set up was different then we were used to, but the food was delicious.

Our room was ready when we checked in. Transportation picked us up at the airport and returned us in a very timely manner. Enjoyed the happy hour on Thursday afternoon. Breakfasts were very tasteful and varied. Enjoyed our stay.

The property and the room were all great. We had a difficult time getting to the hotel because of all the street construction. Not the hotels fault but very annoying. Continental breakfast was fantastic. Would definitely recommend.

We really liked our stay at Element. Comfortable bed, spacious room. Good value. Good range of breakfast foods. Pre-dinner reception was a pleasant and unexpected plus. We would happily stay here again.

Heat did not work. The room had a weird layout. The bathroom had stains on the walls. On Saturday the breakfast buffet was advertised on their website as being open until 10a but all of the hearty food (eggs and bacon) were gone by 9am. They ran out of plain creamer by Friday Morning and never stocked it again.

The breakfast was better than most. Real fruit for yogurt, hand made pancakes, eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy. Area had restaurants and bars within 2 min walking. When we return to Omaha I’ll be looking this place up again. Good value

For what we paid for our room disappointed. Our bed was broken the tile was coming up and was becoming a trip hazard. The blackout curtains were broken so light from the patio was shining in the hole night. The pillows have seen better days and the sheets were scratchy, and rough. The breakfast was lacking there was no meats, or boiled eggs more carbs then anything.
