Loved the room and view we were in and the swimming pools and grounds were fabulous. One improvement would be to have some entertainment in the evenings. Singers and music and maybe somewhere to dance would really add to this beautiful hotel.

The hotel was quiet, definitely not a party hotel. Easy to walk into town and enjoy activities in Cabo San Lucas. Very clean, and facilities were excellently maintained. The room was quiet, with no noise from rooms above or the elevator. They will try to really push their time shares on you, so be aware of that. While you get a free or discounted experience after listening to the presentation, you won't be able to choose the outfitter. We only ate pool side or at the Sports Bar. Pool side food service was very slow, but the food was good quality. Swim up bar was nice. The Expedia web site is a bit misleading--there are no tennis courts, other courts or beach volleyball at this hotel. They have a sister resort about 1/2 mile away that does have those amenities, but we did not use them. No swimming on the beach due to dangerous currents, but the pools are nice. Also, the fitness classes are $20 per class, which seems off for a luxury resort.

Lovely stay here. Large, comfortable, quiet room. Loved the adult pool area with gorgeous view of Lands End cliffs. Resort is far enough away from crazy Cabo San Lucas but close enough to walk to marina and restaurants. Staff are super nice. When we had some minor facilities issues, the hotel gave us generous compensation for our troubles. Highly recommended!

This is an all inclusive that’s guises as a normal hotel. Wifi terrible, food at resort terrible and no coffee in the room. Nice pools and grounds and great location but for the price would definitely pass. I would not stay here again

This is a very beautiful property. Overall a great place. The restaurants could be better- food was not very good at the Asian restaurant and at the Sports Bar. There were also many many little roaches in the room kitchen.

Clean and well maintained property. To a person, the staff was well-trained, friendly and attentive. The food in the various on-property restaurants was good, but not equal to some of the nicer restaurants in Cabo. Certainly eat some meals there, but unless you want to gorge and have 10 drinks per day, skip the all-inclusive option.

We thoroughly enjoyed this trip and resort! The resort itself is beautiful and was kept very clean. Staff was all amazing-super friendly and attentive. The pools, restaurants and food were excellent. Location was on a lovely beach with hundreds of whale sightings-it was incredible. Great walkability to town. We were there for 7 days, and did the all-inclusive package for three of those days. large rooms with comfortable beds. Everything was great. We highly recommend it!

The property was very clean. Food Very expensive. In the sports bar a french dip was $26. Overall, Nice to be on the Pacific side. Not a 5 star resort. The food and drink was outrageous and the rooms were worn i.e. the balcony furniture and the kitchens had old and worn appliances. We didn't even have complimentary coffee in our room and we were in the Presidential Suite. We were disappointed. We left 3 days early and moved to a 5 star and forfeited the money we had paid. Love the area but not up to par where it should be.

Well what i didn't like was the size of the room. It was tiny compared to the room i had next door 7yrs ago. The room i got at playa resort was huge. Two bathrooms full kitchen living room extra large bedroom big balcony overlooking marine. The room they gave me at Grand Solamar reminded me of a Hampton inn room. With a ocean view. For the price i paid i was not impressed at all.

Grand Solmar is a beautiful hotel. The architecture is traditional and elegant and blends seamlessly into the rocky cliffside. If you can't afford the Waldorf Astoria, this is a great choice. The ocean front infinity pools have amazing views of crashing turquoise surf. We always found lounge chairs available at the pools and didn't have to get up at 6 am to get one. The poolside service was very attentive. We had the studio suite and it was huge, well appointed, and had a great view from the balcony. The crowd was mostly seniors, drinking and having fun but not rowdy. The main fault was the food. It was all mediocre, starting from the nachos and fajitas with low quality meats and little seasoning and up to the upscale sushi that was pretty but tasteless. Don't pay for the all-inclusive as the Grand Solmar is close to town. Such a beautiful hotel deserves better cuisine! Also, the massages are very overpriced and done very mechanically.

Even if you prepay like I did they require a $500 deposit and strongly encourage you to charge everything to your room. Also be prepared for a high-pressure sales pitch to sign up for their time share presentation and they will hound if you don't. Other than that, it was a high price resort with a good view, but the value just wasn't there for the proximity to the ocean. Service and hotel were average at best.

Overall great resort, pools, rooms and service. Only downside that needs fixing is their check in process. We waited over an hour to get checked in and the line was not even long. Observations is they need to automate their check-in process and leverage a mobile app like the rest of the world. Things like taking pictures of your passports, registering a credit card and getting alerted when the room is ready is what is needed in a big way. Take away manual processes and automate the check-in friction away will really improve the guest arrival experience.

Beautiful resort, no detail was overlooked. The staff was so impeccably trained, they truly enhanced our experience. Any one of them would see us and recall our names, preferences, etc. They clearly have such pride in their jobs. Everyone should experience a vacation like this at least once.

Beautiful stay. The only reason why I’m giving this 4/5 stars is because I tried multiple times to get ahold of someone from the hotel prior to the trip and no one ever answered, emailed me back, etc.

They raise the rates for AI guests on menu items, and make you “cash out” every two hours, which completely defeats the purpose of the all-inclusive experience.

We had a wonderful stay at Grand Solmar Land’s End. The view from our balcony overlooking Land’s End and the Pacific Ocean was absolutely stunning. We loved spending time by the pools, which also offered a beautiful view of the ocean. Breakfast was consistently good each morning—we especially enjoyed the waffles and French toast. One of the highlights of our trip was walking to Divorce Beach and hiking over the rocks; the scenery was breathtaking and the experience unforgettable. A nice touch was the welcome margaritas, which were delicious and made us feel right at home from the start. Overall, Grand Solmar Land’s End provided a perfect mix of relaxation, adventure, and great service.
