Pool and hot tub were nice, towels are not provided but there is plenty of seating and barbecues. Rooms were standard, beds comfortable but in need of some minor upgrades ie. towel bar and shower curtains. A bit over priced but it was a holiday weekend and carefree booking/stay. I'd consider returning for the pool/hot tub bbq amenities.

I rarely leave reviews, but I feel compelled to share our experience in hopes of helping others avoid the same situation. Our room was clearly not cleaned properly before our arrival. The shower was dirty, the sink didn’t drain, and the floors were visibly filthy. There were strange substances streaked down the walls that had not been cleaned, a hole in the wall, and dark, greasy fingerprints all over the door. It was honestly shocking. The condition of the room made us feel extremely uncomfortable and uneasy throughout our stay. This is not the level of cleanliness or care you expect when booking a hotel. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere when booking accommodations—this place was far below acceptable standards.

What a dump! Dirty room. Dirty bathroom. Sheets had holes and stains. No coffee in the lobby in the morning. If the cleaning ladies spent less time smoking and more time doing their job, maybe the state of the rooms would be cleaner.

This was a little older complex and there were very little to no upgrades at all. Room and bathroom was very small, felt cramped almost but quick hot running water was a plus. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Would book again only if I was in a pinch.

The room was very difficult to get warm; the bathroom was ice cold and we had to keep that door shut in order to keep the rest of the room close to comfortable. The bedding was super minimal and the beds were very hard. I recommend bringing your own blankets if you stay here and want to be comfortable overnight.

It was a nice place but our refrigerator wasn't working. Reported it 2 times to the man in office buthe just gave me a towel to clean up defrosted water from freezer. Next day reported to woman in office and was told she would send someone to check it out. NEVER happened.

The pictures online aren’t accurate. The rooms are outdated, phone was unplugged and couldn’t get it to work. Bed was old and made noise when you moved.The bathroom had mold. I couldn’t get a hold of staff via phone calls and the front was closed when I walked over. I also tried paying with a different card and the lady said it was not possible. Overall, this place was old and the customer service is non existent.

We liked this hotel. It is close to the Gondola and all the main attractions and not far from the lake too. Everything in our room was in good shape and working. The pool area was organized very nicely. We even got a better room than we paid for. Great stay indeed.

Summary: Next time I'm in South Lake Tahoe I will stay again. Longer version: Over the course of a week I stayed in 3 different rooms at the Tahoe Hacienda. Each was unique. For example the first had a tub, the other two only had showers. The third lacked a place to put your soap and shampoo. The first had only one wall plug, the second had a power strip, and the third had 2 power strips. That said, all 3 were very clean, the hot water was great, the AC worked fine, and the place was quiet. Each room had a nice firm bed, a desk, a dresser, a refrigerator, and a microwave. And a TV. No coffee maker but they had one in the lobby. The proprietors were pleasant. The room rates were very reasonable weekdays (one Friday they were higher, and on Saturday higher still). Even on Friday and Saturday the motel's prices were much better than elsewhere in town.
