Well.. first and foremost I booked my room 3 months ago for a concert at the Spectrum Center. I was so excited to take my grandson to his first one and only walk 100 feet to the entrance of the venue. When I went to check in the receptionist informed me that they had sold my room and they were sorry. I have never in my entire traveling experience heard of selling my room, that was prepaid for, months ahead of time. She did however inform me that they did book us a hotel down the road in another location. Not beside the venue and not easy to access. So, I would have to say it wasn’t the best experience for a hotel I often frequent. Very disappointed in there lack of communication and empathy to this situation. It must happen more than I expected. Greed should not be a reason to sell someone’s room to profit more in a sold out market! Shame on you!

The breakfast buffet had a nice variety and tastes good for once the scrambled eggs were not runny. The staff were very nice and helpful. The room was nice and had a good view of the city. The pool is small but did the job.

Dissapointed in how my family was taken care of on Sunday night August 16th and 17th. I routinely book this hotel everytime I come to Charlotte with there is a Panthers game or NBA game or with meetings I may have uptown. My wife reported to me that there was a cleaning and saftey issue in their room. When told of this horrible experience, the front desk staff offered to refund the incidental charges only. No credit, not full refund, just a measly little sorry, and a throw away amount of money for what was a terrifying expereince. I am very disapointed and will think about this next time I recommend or choose to book there again.
