Staybridge Suites Omaha 80th and Dodge by IHG

The hotel appeared to be updated however many of the accommodations were outdated. The pool was in very poor shape. Very cloudy water and the flooring around it was falling apart. You could not even walk barefoot around the pool without stepping on numerous loose rocks. Not to mention the pool water was freezing cold. The rooms initally looked nice but upon further inspection it was not very clean. Tried to use the pull out couch and the covering over the mattress was not clean at all. Dirt and stains all over. They had no extra good bedding to even use for the pullout couch. No extra pillows. The blankets they did offer us felt like sand paper. The AC did not work in our room so they gave us a box fan but we still had to sleep in 77 degree room. The breakfast which i had read on other reviews was supposed to be amazing. It was not. Burn omelets, not many choices for kids to eat. Just overall not impressed with this hotel. Since I booked 3rd party I was not able to get any kind of reimbursement for the no ac in our room. Would not recommend to anyone.

Staff is always so friendly. I stay here often as I have surgical procedures done every 4 to 6 months. A special shout out to DELIA; she was thoughtful, kind, and over the top willing to help! Noticed that the pool was out of order, but I don't use the pool; families might have been disappointed. New remodel is nice, but wasn't anything out of the ordinary or impressive. Evening get-togethers are for the most part gone, M T W only. This is a great location! Near hospitals (right across the street), food (both fast food or casual dining), shopping - Westroads Mall is just north a short way, movie theater, Boys Town, etc. Just off of Dodge St. and 80th, near I680.

Absolutely loved our stay! It was perfect for our family. The breakfast is one of the best hotel breakfasts we’ve had. And it change slightly from one day to the next. When we arrived they had a social going on with appetizers. Which after day of packing and traveling was a nice treat. The only negative thing I could say about our stay, was the pool wasn’t heated. I know, very first world problems. But the kids really looked forward to swimming. Being in November, we got a good 10-15 mins before we had to tap out. Everything else was perfect though!

No communication before arriving to let us know all ground floor rooms were in a state of demolition.

Several broken things in the room including the tv remote (which didnt even matter because none of the channels works). My room was right in the middle of the renovations and we were woken up at 7am to power tools, yelling, and loud music from the workers. Maybe things will be fine once renovations are done but definitely dont stay here right now

Breakfast was fantastic, lots of options, fresh fruit, amazing scones, etc Pool and pool area clean. Nice esthetic- indoor and outdoor fireplaces. Movie room was cool, but chairs were broken and the area itself was dirty and unorganized; popcorn machine out of popcorn which is fine but took away from the overall experience. Suite rooms decent in size but room and couches/chairs dirty. Beds were extremely worn and very uncomfortable. Overall, for the price it was fair but had hoped for and expected it to be a bit more clean and comfortable. They did have remodel signs up so hopefully that includes all the rooms and furniture. If so, we would come back.

I will be staying here again for future appointments. The employees are very friendly and helpful. The beds are comfortable and rooms are very clean. They offer a nice breakfast with several options and everything was fresh and hot. The only complaint was from my kids because the pool was closed during our stay.

Pros The hotel is clean and located in a nice area near downtown, parking is free, rooms are super clean and spacious. Cons the elevator was broke and I had to carry a ton of stuff down from the top floor, the fridge in the room was super loud and went off every hour or so. I didn’t see or use the pool or have breakfast so can’t help with that.

This property offers so many great ammenities like outdoor seating, a pool, workout room, laundry, business center, and a theater to name a few. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and clean. Dove products in the bathroom! Will stay again!

We loved this hotel. Had a the things were were looking for and was in a prime location. The breakfast was good. The pool was small but warm so that was nice. Thank you for our great experience. We will return.

The kitchenette fridge had old food in it so it lead me to believe it wasn’t cleaned properly. Each bathroom only had one bath towel which seems odd considering it was a 2 room suite. One bathroom was completely out of toilet paper.

This is the worst StayBridge I have stayed. Starting that when we arrived they didn’t have toilet paper then we were staying at room 211 and at night a cockroach and little roaches appeared on the shelf at the kitchen so we talk to Lindsay the manager to move us to another room and she did it. The other terrible thing was the room service. In the first room the 211 the person in charge of clean it,didn’t do a proper cleaning. We always ask for a light cleaning but at the beginning they did it but then they didn’t do it anymore even the supervisor was there at the front desk when I ask for it and assure me it will be done but still wasn’t done. This hotel is a disaster so definitely we wont come back. Kimberly that’s in front desk was the only friendly one.

This was a nice place to stay. The room was just as described, the beds were comfortable and the breakfast was the best hotel breakfast we have ever had! Our only complaint is that the bathroom/shower were not as clean as it could have been. There were some hairs on the floor of the shower and in the corners on the bathroom floor.

The property itself is pretty good. The staff is excellent. Everyone is so friendly and very helpful. The hotel provides a super breakfast. It's so much better than what you usually get and there's going to be something for everybody. The fresh fruit was great in the middle of winter. Our last night of a 3-day stay required. Putting up with disruptive guests who were first stampeding down the Halls, them yelling as they got in and out of the elevator just outside of our door, and finally at midnight, there was a huge fight that was bad enough to call the police. I'm sure everyone on the second floor heard the commotion. There's no way you could miss it. Any guests that are this rude should be immediately kicked off the premises. It's not safe having drunk guests screaming at each other in the hallway at midnight. We have stayed at the Staybridge suites in Lincoln, Nebraska, and that place was superb. This is definitely a second compared to that. Also, we did see cockroaches in the kitchen area, which isn't good when you have packaged food out on the counter. FYI, the the shower head in room 211 needs a redo of the installation with pipe tape. It's spraying a bit of water at the corner of the ceiling and this will eventually warp out the paint. The bottom line for our stay is that everything was okay until that final night, but we only got 2 hours sleep and had to head to the airport. Our flight. I don't think we'll be coming back to this hotel. Too many things went wrong

I’ve been staying here for four years when I come to Omaha for work but the overall Cleanliness of the facility from elevators to hallways to seating in the commons are are dirty and moreso all the time. Quality of breakfast is hit and miss used to be consistently good.

Room was very dirty, including used bandaid on the floor and when we pulled out the hideabed, there were toys and crumbs in it, so someone clearly hadnt cleaned it. The regular beds had rock hard mattresses and the hideabed had about a 1" mattress, and could feel the springs through it. Very disappointed, we stayed there to get a good night sleep before my duaghter had surgery early the next morning and that was pretty hard to do. Ive stayed in these before and expected a similar level of quality, but very underwhelmed.

Other than having 30 bed bug bites, nice place. Lovely staff. Not coming there again

The toilet water kept running the entire time. The doors between the rooms in the suite didn’t shut. The mattresses we not comfortable and the pillows were flat as a board.

Our room booked with a pull out couch/bed. No linens or pillows were provided in room. We went to ask the front desk for linens for our children and they said they had none. Both nights - none to provide. We had to go purchase our own blankets for our children to be worn. Terrible inconvenience when you pay over $200/night. Will not stay here again - wouldn’t recommend if you intend on using the pull out couch/bed during your stay.

It was fine for a quick overnight, but don’t expect quiet. Stomping around and above us all night long, doors slamming. Definitely not a restful night.

The space is very tight. Me and my husband got some bruising because there are not enough space between the door and walk space in the room and to the bathroom.

Our family was absolutely thrilled with our overnight stay. Three generations, four adults, and two children (ages 2 and 6) stayed in suite room 307. The two bedrooms with the common room and kitchen was perfect for our needs and having two full bathrooms was a bonus! The indoor pool was lovely. The breakfast was hot and delicious, staff were attentive and friendly, and the grounds very inviting. We will certainly be return customers!

The only issue we had was with the tv in the living room. It would turn on for about 2 seconds and then cut back off. It would never stay on. The tv in the bedroom would not turn on with the remote; we could turn it on from the button on the tv.

The walls are really thin. I can hear people above me walking and turning on the water.

They were nice enough to upgrade our room to a family suite which made the stay so much more comfortable for the whole family!

Doing maintenance and being loud the whole stay, (when booking it would have been nice to know hotel was doing maintenance) service was slow and always seemed like we were a burden when asking for towels, sheets, bedding etc. breakfast was poor, once again would’ve been nice to know no hot food was available during maintenance. Overall poor experience.

Rooms not worth the price, evening shift staff rude, unorganized, unprofessional, rooms not completely stocked, only 1 trash can in the room, no vending for ice machines. Staff thought it was inconvenient for us to ask where our room was. Never staying there again. I could have stayed at the holiday inn express for that price and would have had better experience.

We were here for a concert, first time staying at this hotel. Really enjoyed, for sure we would stay there again. Front desk reception lady was very nice, first room we got bathroom sink had issues.. call front desk let them know, we came down and got changed to another room right away. Room was nice and clean, breakfast was very good and tasty too, also great service at breakfast!

I left something in my room called the hotel back within two hours room was not reassigned but th front desk girl who answered the phone was too busy to run up and look and said housekeeping hadn’t found anything. That place was dead when I left there and this was middle of the afternoon. Bad customer service it was definitely in my room and someone took it!! Her tone was I sincerely yea it’s not there. I even told them exactly where it was. Frustrating I stay there for work all the time. Their turnover is constant. Used to be great staff and always helpful.

Excellent stay! Staff is amazing - so kind, friendly and accommodating. This is my favorite place to stay in Omaha!

I have enjoyed staying at this particular hotel everytime we go. The rooms are awesome and it's at a great location that is easy to find. Will definitely be booking more rooms there in the future.

Close to Children’s Hospital

Easy access to Methodist and Children’s Hospitals. A lot of restaurants in walking distance.

Nice place to stay. A little dated for the price we paid however it was during the college World Series. Quiet property with a convenient location to food and shopping. Kitchen amenities were nice and very convenient. Staff was super friendly and very informative. Overall, a good place to stay.

Excellent location! Easy to get around. Many food options. Shopping nearby. Omaha Zoo is less than 15 minutes away. Hotel is very clean, staff is friendly. Breakfast was also good. Stayed Friday to Monday. My only complaints was my bed was hard, woke up ache, pullout bed mattress was worn out springy and no blackout curtains to block out parking lot lighting.

I was having surgery and we stayed here the night before. It was very nice and less than a half mile from my hospital.

Newly renovated room. Front on dresser drawer in master bedroom broke off when I opened it. Could see where old light fixtures used to be. Housekeeping did not come in and make beds or clean. Had to ask for clean towels etc and set our trash outside the room to be picked up. The desk staff was super friendly. Front of hotel being renovated so breakfast was minimal. Only cold items and waffle maker. But I know when it's done it's going to be nice. Pool was meeky and they treated it last night so we didn't get to swim last night or this morning. Overall though a nice roomy place to stay with clean comfortable rooms and beds and I would definitely stay there again.

We were not impressed. For the price, we expected a much better experience. Online pictures make this hotel look so much better than reality. The hotel is currently remodeling. As a result, breakfast was being served out of a small room with no seating available. Breakfast choices were slim. Lack of security was concerning. Side doors were propped open for construction workers. While swimming, a large family entered the pool area to swim without appropriate swimwear. We wondered if they were actually hotel guests or if they just walked in the open doors to swim for free. Our room was newly remodeled. It was clean. The craftsmanship of the new remodel was very poor. The new shower was cut out to fit around an existing light switch. Bathroom doors did not close properly. Wall decor and tvs were not centered correctly. It was sad that what could have been really nice updates, were poorly executed and looked very unprofessionally done. We will not be staying here on future visits to Omaha.

Stay there a lot but depending who’s cooking for the weekends it’s not been very good in recent weeks. Same food served for breakfast days in a row, run out of items, hot food is barely warm. The breakfast used to be outstanding. Probably will look for somewhere else to stay after 4 years of staying here several times a month for work. Front desk is always very helpful and nice staff though.

Staff was amazing and friendly. Breakfast was always delicious. The Mon-Wed socials in the evening were GREAT! DEFINITELY would recommend!!
