Property undergoing renovations. Our room was not cleaned well. Dust on top of fridge, smoke detector not installed (was on tv table with a battery). No sprinklers if there was a fire. Workers pounding at 7:30 AM until 8:00 PM. Long brown hairs in shower. My husband and I have gray hair and our daughter has blonde hair. Saw 2 little roaches. Smoke detector in room next to us chirped the entire 4 nights we were there. Lots of safety hazards with workmen and their tools all around. This property should not be open for business until renovations are completed.

Bugs all over the room. Roaches and other kinds. Pool was green and had leaves and bugs in it as well. Advertised that they had breakfast they don’t. Stayed here because it was cheap but now I know why.

A good choice if you're on a budget. Jist don't expect too much from the bedding. Bring your own pillows. Good effort with exterior esthetics; bright colors around the property are a nice touch. Don't expect too much from the swimming pool.

The property was under renovation, but the parts that were renovated were lovely..very clean with a very contemporary feel. The pool area was very nice and the pool itself was very crystal clear and clean!!

The problems with the property were not the staff\'s fault. The hotel is undergoing extensive renovation. Rooms on the front of "A" building had debris, dust,fixtures on the walkway. The room I was given had been renovated. Room number written big on the window. It may have been renovated but the top sheet on the bed was not. The bathroom did not look bad, it was clean. The hanger rod for clothes was a piece of pvc pipe. The lights for the room were some kind of funky LED lights embedded in the wall. There was NO desk, table or chair in the room. When I asked the staff for a chair I was told by who I assume was the manager that the renovated rooms did not come with them. So I cancelled my reservation and left the property. Not a good experience.

This place was so dirty, unsanitary and had black mold in the restrooms. There was even black mold on the mattress protector and when I asked the staff for a replacement or new room, they just changed the top sheets. It was so disgusting.

The hotel room was disgusting. The bathroom Was gross with blood on the celing. The floors were dirty as shown in the pictures. There were cockroaches all around and the beds were very uncomfortable! I booked a king bed but the room i got had 2 double beds. They're was a $100 deposit that was not mentioned at the time i booked the room. There was also holes in the wall with electrical wires exposed presenting a danger. The floors were very dirty and we got dirty feet just by walking on them.

BED BUGS!!! Sketchy area with people smoking weed all around the property and pool area, door didn’t seem to lock correctly from previous damage, A/Cs didn’t work in a number of rooms, BED BUGS, dirty sheets. Went back to ask for a refund 20 minutes after checking in and they told me I had to come back to speak with the manager when they were on site, which she NEVER WAS. Said she would call me back and never did! Staff was rude about me asking for my money back and when I went to return my keys all they said was “uh huh”. Do not stay here! It’s filthy and infested!

Had to put another $100 for the night. Room has to be inspected before I receive it back. They said any damage and things like that would deny my security deposit. The sheet on top of the bed had cigarette burns on it. I informed the from desk about it and they asked if I too pictures and of course I did. There were also roaches

The rooms smelled like weed, dirty stained floors, walls, bedding, stained bathroom tubs, all in all the entire place is run down. The pictures on the website are incorrect. The hotel may have looked like that 30 years ago but it is not even close to those pictures today. I had to sign a piece of paper stating, not to steal the TV, the mattress, or other items within the room. If you have to sign a consent form to not steal the TV from the room, you are in the wrong rooms. It was dirty enough that when i checked in, went to the room, i walked in and walked out. No way i was staying there. The mattress had bed bug bags installed on the mattress so that is a sign.

Dirty, chair in room had cuts in the upholstery. They wouldn't give us two extra pillows. The wifi was very poor, and wouldn't work inside our room, despite only being a few doors down from the lobby. There was no toilet paper, or even a toilet roll holder, in the bathroom. Bad smells, rude staff.

The hotel is in the middle of renovations, i had 2 of the 3 lights blinking, there was no chairs, no desk, and no secure WIFI. I am not a person to do anything in bed but sleep, so i was not comfortable at all watching TV. I had to stand for 4 hours to complete 1/2 day of work, and use my cell for WIFI. It was very creepy walking around at night, as the pla e is not well lit. They ask for a $100 deposit if you stain or damages, and yet my bedspread had stains.

You could tell the owners are trying to remodel and fix the place up. The floors were a type of laminate. At night they were soaking wet from condensation I think. I kept getting up to dry the floors with a towel so my daughter would not fall if she used the bathroom. Sorry for the owners on this problem because the flooring will not hold up and there will be potential falls which could lead to lawsuits. The room was very clean and basically paint on the walls and beds and a bathroom. Not anything else. Again could tell was in the process of remodeling and fixing up. Staff was nice and friendly.

This place is ok. It is cheaply renovated , painted over, but not bad. It was clean. The bed was comfy. One pillow was soft the other too high and too firm. The blanket too thin. The towels cheaply made. Too many rules. Walls too thin. You can literally hear everything from next door. I can smell Marijuana from either the vent or next door. But, overall, its nice for the price and if you're only staying a couple nights. .

The outside was nice and clean. Room was so so. Microwave didn't work, fridge door was peeling, and floor was dirty, I thought I was at Bates motel on tv. Lol, was ready to get out of there.

Booked here at 11pm and check in was easy. They did ask for a $100 deposit even though the booking was paid for and I wasn’t expecting that. Room didn’t have toilet paper and we had to ask for it. However, things were clean and looked nice. Tv was big. The bed made a knocking sound whenever we rolled over or moved.

They have you initial all the reasons your deposit will be forfeited, and then put you in a room that already neets the criteria for the forfeiture. The walls were stained, the toilet loose on its mount, the light blinked on and off the whole time, the fridge was warm, and there was mold or something in the corners. I needed an accessible room. It was not ADA compliant. A regular tub with no hand holds to prevent falling and parking more than 80 feet away from the so called accessible room. Overall it was a horrible stay.

The hotel really needs renovations and repairs. there were holes in the wall, the sheets were dirty, the wood was chipped, handles missing on drawers and also my door locked whenever it felt like locking. I had to sleep with something in front of my door out of fear that someone would enter. The remote control half worked and I was not provided enough towels for my stay.

Desk clerks were not friendly at all. Later on into the evening we noticed that our toilet overflowed everytime it was flushed. Sent my friend to the desk to ask for a plunger amd the gentleman said "we dont have one' akd said nothing further. We were unable to use the toilet the length of our stay. The shampoo (we got no conditioner) came in a packet and was impossible to open. Never got it to split. While trying to wipe the floor from one of the roilet mishaps, i out a towel on the floor and stepped on it and wiped a few feet of flooring was astounded to see that the towel had a black footmark on it. The towel had only wiped a few feet of flooring and it was black! I have pictures i hope i get to share them. Gross. Who knows the last time that floor was cleaned. Upw embarrassing for the housekeeping team...

I had to leave early in the morning at 4:00 am for work and they refused to give my back my deposit because it wasn’t 9am-11. Room was perfectly cleaned. They said it was policy and the manager threatens to call police when I made the employee call his manger back. Terrible place overall Fr don’t stay here

I was told a deposit was listed on the website available for anyone to see, it’s in fine print on a separate website page. I paid my deposit being told that it would return to me the next morning as I checked out, the next morning I was told by a different worker that this was untrue and I would not get it back until after 3-5 days. I paid my deposit being told that it would return to me the next morning as I checked out, the next morning I was told by a different worker that this was untrue and I would not get it back until after 3-5 days. For it to be a pet friendly hotel the fact that I barely can tell that there are any pet pets. Other than seeing people casually walk. Their dogs is a huge plus. Cleanliness of the overall hotel is amazing. Staff is very sweet and accommodate your ever needs plenty of parking and the room rooms are very clean and unique.

When checking In the hotel the desk staff was not very communicative, really didn’t talk to you but just checked us in and gave us the key didn’t tell us what room unless we asked. Upon entering the room there was mold that was just painted over, mold still on the wall . We stayed here for about a week, and the room was never cleaned once, no fresh towels or anything , when going to the desk to ask for more (mind you they have a pool) , they asked where our old ones were . We were only given 2 more towels which was fine we didn’t use the pool . Upon checking out do the hotel the dest personnel was very rude and not communicate , asked what room and that the deposit would be refunded , never once told us if that was all of if they needed anything else . Very non-professional. Very poor customer service. Would never stay here again!!

People smoking weed in the stair wells, very loud, beds were extremely uncomfortable, half the time the key card wouldn’t work.. overall the other people at this location made it hard to enjoy the stay ended up leaving do to theft. It might be a cheap option but definitely not worth it.

If I had taken notice of the reviews I’d have avoided this place but I’m so glad I didn’t, for the price $54 I couldn’t fault it at all, I’ve stayed in far worse places for far more money than this . This place doesn’t deserve the bad reviews I saw, I’d stay here again without question. Great spot for restaurants and super easy for the i10. Don’t believe the BS in some of the reviews and have a great stay. Super comfy bed and quiet considering it’s next to the highway .

I have never been to a hotel were majority of the things you need was Easy and convenient to the Interstate, Easy parking, staff and guest was friendly, rooms was clean, walkable to places, quiet and was able to relax without people walking all night, car horn blowing and trash cans running over with trash falling on the ground. I am making plans now to come back again. One thing I did not like is the Ice Machine needs to be replace. Not sure if it worked, it just looked to rusty for me. Just my opinion. Most of all, I was well rested after leaving Rest and Relax Inn. The maintenance guy Mr. HARVEY made our stay relaxing by changing one of the room locks on the door for us with no question ask. Mr. HARVEY was extremely friendly and the 3 days we were there he always said Good Morning anything you need, is everything ok. Well Done Mr. HARVEY. We will visit again soon.

Love the bathroom in our room! Floors are very nice, and the sunshade is so adorable with its Hawaiian beach scene. Pool area is nice. The area around is a lot of shopping mall type stores, large parking lots. You have to meander through a lot of it to get to the hotel parking lot. The area makes me a little jumpy.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The location is good. The outside of the hotel itself is cute. There were run down vehicles in the parking lot however. There was a domestic situation that went on in the early hours of the morning which made it next to impossible to sleep

quiet setting, beautiful trees, new furniture in rooms. I loved pull down window shade of boardwalk/beach We were in handicap access room. They had a roll in shower but no shower bench or grab bars in shower. I didn\'t let my husband take a shower because of that. They did not have a clothing rod in recessed closet area, towel hanging rack in shower in inconvenient space opposite room from shower, no blow dryer, no in-room coffemaker or coffee in lobby, no breakfast (i knew that when registering). It was hot & humid, air conditioner worked fine, when we put fan on low for overnight, the vinyl plank floor in room and tile in bathroom seemed to "sweat", slippery film of water on surface and my husband slipped on floor between bed and wall getting up at night to go to bathroom. He broke his fall hitting bedside table, did not realize he cut his arm and there was blood on sheets and we used handtowel to wipe damp floor and it got dirty. We had to initial that soiled/damaged towels and linen could be charged from our $100. deposit. I explained we had the blood on sheets and dirty towel at check out due to slip. I checked later in the day and they did not charge us for the dirty linen.

It was a pick a hotel that I could afford, so I could get some sleep. I would not choose this motel for a longer stay, but it served its purpose. Loved the shower wand instead of just a shower head. Sleeping on the bed, still has my back messed up 5 days later and the AC was loud. Old hotel, currently in renovation. I love it when breakfast is an option, but this place did not have a breakfast.

The photos make this property look modern and stylish. Its quite the opposite. The rooms doesn't have numbers on the doors, the windows have the room number written on them with sharpie. The property looks like it was really run down and the new owners are wanting to repair it but just taking their time with it. The floors in the rooms are slippery with some type of gel on them. Felt very unclean. Beds have wheels on them...don't know what that's about. Check was good, coffee is always cold, must be from day before. Overall it get a 1 star.

The problems with the property were not the staff\'s fault. The hotel is undergoing extensive renovation. Rooms on the front of "A" building had debris, dust,fixtures on the walkway. The room I was given had been renovated. Room number written big on the window. It may have been renovated but the top sheet on the bed was not. The bathroom did not look bad, it was clean. The hanger rod for clothes was a piece of pvc pipe. The lights for the room were some kind of funky LED lights embedded in the wall. There was NO desk, table or chair in the room. When I asked the staff for a chair I was told by who I assume was the manager that the renovated rooms did not come with them. So I cancelled my reservation and left the property. Not a good experience.

First room had black mold growing on every wall and the floor was standing in water on the second floor. Second room was next door to a yipping dog all night. Noticed black mold growing on the wall in the bathroom after we had been in it for a couple of hours. Can not control ac it was permanently stuck at 66. Floor was soaking wet when we woke up. Very rude employees at the FRONT DEDK!!! To pricey for the run down room! Beds were hard and squeaked when ever you moved! The RULES WERE STRICT!!! Plus a deposit of $100 plus the room amount of $688 for 3 DAYS!!! Convinces in town was a plus!!
