Great family hotel with excellent activities and crafts for the kids. They loved the crabbing. Breakfast and dinner were very good. Overall it is a very nice property that is well maintained and of the five hotels on our trip it is the one the kids most want to visit again.

Beautiful property with friendly staff. The pool, lawn games, harbor views, and bikes all made for a lovely outdoor experience. You can walk to the beach and dock square. The breakfast is a delicious assortment. We had a lovely time.

I love the location of this property. They offer many activities with a dock on the property for ease of kayaking and taking a boat tour. Bikes are also available and the area is a great biking town. The rooms in the original building are a bit small but well maintained and the bathrooms are all updated and have the needed amenities. It’s also a lovely spot to watch the sunset across the river. It’s a good family resort.

Lovely inn, great for kids with lots of activities. Breakfast buffet is delicious and staff are very friendly and kind. Our first room was lovely but we had noisy neighbors above (lots of heavy footfalls and jumping) and front desk solved the issue by finding us another room - they were very kind and accommodating. Lovely location and grounds.

This a beautiful property on the water. We enjoyed our stay. They had a shuttle to downtown and the beach. Dock Sq was also just a short walk.. They had an amazing Breakfast buffet that was included. I would definitely stay here again if we make it back to Kennebunkport. 5+++ Also a beautiful wedding venue.

My husband and I loved our accommodations, however, we did not like two things. There was a light on our balcony that shone right up n us and into our room at night. We would have normally sat outside to enjoy the view/stars but the light was very intrusive so we did not sit outside. Also, the housekeeping seemed rushed as they did not vacuum (crumbs still on the floor from the night before after they cleaned) and not enough towels.

Breakfast was incredible. The best we’ve had in the US to date. Location was beautiful. Sadly our room faced onto the trash area and our room wasn’t serviced the next day. Felt our room was neglected from housekeeping as we weren’t part of either of the wedding parties hosted here over the weekend (although we were advised weddings were taking place). Apart from that, it’s in a fantastic spot. Very relaxing stay.

Lovely resort in Kennebunkport. The room was clean and modern, but still had an old time feel to match the history of the resort. The view of the river was beautiful and the free breakfast was the best I’ve ever had at a hotel. Great stay!

There are a lot of places to stay in Kennebunkport. Stop wasting your time reading my review of this place and book somewhere else! If you like load music until late into the night, this is the hotel for you! If you like the idea of having a room directly above an events center, stay here. Because, as the front desk staff told me when I checked in “it shouldn’t be a problem”. And a special shoutout to the manager. The “Gen Z stare” was awesome. Seriously, it was hilarious! And woe be to any guest staying in room 217. There is an air conditioning or refrigeration unit just outside the window that is on its last legs. It will regularly produce an irritating vibration throughout the room. So when the music ends, this just keeps annoying! To be fair, the food and the staff at Heckman’s, the bar at the hotel, were 5 star! So, that’s it, my review. You have been warned! Hey, the review is over. Go on, book a room somewhere else!

Staff are friendly and accommodating. The grounds are beautiful and the dining options are great. The rooms are old and outdated. Very loud plumbing. Had to change rooms. In both rooms I could hear the people above me walking and shutting doors. Thin walls. Furniture was old. Could barely open the dresser drawer.

Overall we enjoyed this hotel- the staff and breakfast were both fantastic! Rooms were clean, grounds were pretty. A few small things that weren't great- wifi did not work for the most part, and when someone showered above our room it was very loud. Not deal breakers for us.

We truly enjoyed our stay. Small room on the second floor facing the river. Very relaxing to sit with a glass of champagne and take in the view. Even the queen bed was comfy with lovely crisp cotton linens. Newly updated shower was also a pleasant surprise!

Nice stay, clean room, friendly staff, perfect location. Only issue was room was on 3rd floor of separate building and it had low ceiling in one area that I slammed my head into the first night (and I’m 5 feet tall). Suggest avoiding floor 3 of that building.

Stayed here last min and wouldn’t recommend. Had constant pounding, vibration from the time we went to bed until after we woke up. Talked with front desk at checkout and said they couldn’t explain it. Well…we were right next to the employee elevator so that explains it. Wouldn’t recommend for the price. Older property and has the wear and tear.

Stunning property. Fantastic breakfast. Will definitely be back. However you hear everything there. The child next to us screamed for an hour before it fell asleep keeping us awake as well as you can hear everyone walking and talking down the hall. They do provide noise makers in the room but still. Beds and rooms very comfortable.

The people next to our room were fighting for hours. Threatening to beat each other up. Guy saying things like shut the f up b I’ll knock your head through the wall. U f…ing leaving. I called the front desk twice. They stopped once and then started again and the cops were called. Cops did nothing and front desk did nothing. I guess you all like guest like that. Will be telling as many people as possible not to stay at your hotel.

Wonderful resort! Every staff member gave us five-star service, from check-in to check out and everything in between. I accidentally left a pair of jeans in the room on departure day and they called me later in the day to say they would mail them. The jeans arrived home safely before me. Best service ever!

Love Kennebunkport and the hotel is just a 10 min walk into a beautiful town with interesting shops, cafes and restaurants. Take the trolley bus tour …. It’s a must! The hotel is just fantastic with great views from many rooms

Beautiful hotel in Kennebunkport. Close enough to town to walk and they also have an electric vehicle which can shuttle you there. We came in the off season so I think it was a little quieter than usual. All the staff were friendly and welcoming.

Absolutely beautiful! My husband and I spent our honeymoon here, the staff went above and beyond, the breakfast was amazing! Room service was quick and delicious. This is also a family friendly resort as they have activities for the children during the day.

Great location. Walked Parsons Way. Hotel is 140 years old but has been renovated. Grounds r lovely. It is a wedding venue so be prepared on weekends for noise until 11pm. Hard to fathom wine is now $15-16 for a 5 ounce pour. Breakfast buffet was outstanding.

Superb, well run, very organised hotel. Only disappointment was the main restaurant was not open due to seasonal open times. The Pub and Breakfast were excellent. Short walk into town. Would return!!!
