El hotel se ve bien, pero nos quedamos encerrados en el elevador y la alarma de alerta no funcionó. Solo pudimos salir porque una señora de limpieza escuchó que gritamos desde adentro. En recepción nos comentaron que no era la primera vez que pasaba y que en caso de que se repitiera podíamos hablar a recepción por teléfono, pero que no usáramos el elevador nunca sin celular para evitar que nos quedáramos incomunicados.

Wheelchair access was good. Location was near to shopping and restaurants. The restaurant in the hotel was fine. Pools were good. It's on the beach, but swimming is out of the question due to the high surf at all times. We went to other local, more protected beaches for snorkeling and swimming.

Es bonito el lugar, la alberca se pasa de cloro, para mi, da acceso a la playa, solo que deben emparejar la arena, y esta agusto y tranquilo y todo muy accesible restaurantes, plazas etc

The property is larger than I thought. Check in was quick. English speaking staff were very obliging. Restaurants vary from outdoor, courtyard, formal dining room. Large swimming pool on the ocean. Located close to bus stops to take you downtown, wallmart, home depot, Sam's, restaurants, etc. We stayed on the property except 1 trip downtown. Room was newly furnished and clean. Tables by the pool to sit and enjoy sunsets and the freighters. This is where we will return when visiting Manzanillo next year.

Todo en el hotel se ve viejo; el aire acondicionado no tenía manera de regularse solo era un botón y ya; no cuenta con pistola para cabello ni plancha hay que pedirlos en recepción y si hay: la playa a la que se tiene acceso siempre en bandera roja porque ahí llegan las olas muy grandes, la albera muy pequeña.

This is not the first time I stay at Marbella Hotel. I noticed the last trip that the room needed attention in cleanliness, now it is a little bit worst. The rooms need painting (dirty walls), and the curtains needed to be replaced for clean ones, basically all the things in the room needed some refreshing. The lamps are rusty, overall the service is good, but the rest needs attention. Marbella has potential, hopefully they improve in those areas I mentioned.

La entrada y Lobby muy presentables personal amable, nuestro cuarto estaba muy maltratado, la puerta del baño tenía quebrado un lado y en lugar de reemplazarlo le pusieron una cortina, el cuarto muy deteriorado, ya ni dijè nada a mi esposo porque yo lo escogí,pero las toallas estaban percudidas, viejas y una parecia como jerga , nos aguantamos porque solo ibamos 2 dias, fuè nuestra primera vez en Manzanillo, la alberca algo deteriorada , lo que miré fue que si le ponian sus quimicos de mantenimiento, la vista era preciosa, los que limpiaron las vidrios de la alberca un poco inconsientes haciendo semejante ruidajal antes de las 8 de la mañana uno durmiendo y la maquina enfrente de los cuartos a pocos pasos de las puertas, si me preguntan si regresaríamos, definitivamente No

Me salió una cucaracha muy grande en la habitación, no es que me espante, pero si considero que deberían tener más limpieza o fumigar. La habitación no es lo mejor, cumple con quedarse a dormir, el olor del caño es fuerte. Lo bonito es la zona de alberca, vista al mar, restaurante y alrededores.

Habitación las toallas son blancas Pero se veían sucias grises. La alberca principal continúa sucia, no le ponen químicos y limpieza suficiente. Están dejando caer ese hotel. Ojalá pongan atención a esos detalles. Se les agradece.

They have bed bugs in my hotel bed, bed bugs bite me, I have bed bugs bite marks all over my body, and is very itchy, I had to go to the nearest farmacy to buy bedbugs cream and medicine because the itching in my body is very bad, I have alot of bedbugs bites all over my body. Very bad experience, I do not recommend this hotel to people, because of the bed bugs and I told the receptionist to switch me to another room and the other room had bed bugs too. I took a few pictures of my bedbugs bites, If you need proof.

Positive : Clean, cleaning ladies super nice, nice sea view, hearing the waves from our room, nice pool but busy (December), walkable to restaurants. Negative : No fridge in the rooms, shared balcony motel style, doors are not insulated and you can hear everything from the outside, restaurant so so and expensive, sand flies, the beach is too dangerous to swim and full of oil.

The room was very nice. I could hear the waves crashing at nice, and there was a balcony to see the beach. The cleaning ladies were very nice and did a good job cleaning. The place was also very safe. There is no microwave nor fridge, so keep that in mind. My only gripe was with the shower. The water pressure was very very bad, but other than that, everything was amazing.

The outside of the hotel is really nice, pool area, lobby, and the restaurant is really good for dinner! The rooms are quite basic, in an ideal world they could use a fridge and some new linens, the towels were threadbare and grey, the toiletries were soap and shampoo and there were no wash cloths. Also you can only get ice from the restaurant and you have to pay for it! The balcony is nice ($100 pesos a night extra) but the table was very stained! We enjoyed our stay but with a few little details it would have been great!

This location is right on the beach, very beautiful! The property itself is VERY outdated and has clearly not been remodeled since it was built. The key to the door is literally a key, painted over walls and doors, just very outdated. The rooms do have AC but it’s an on or off function no option to modify the temp. The rooms are outdated that you can hear everything, loud music from the ground level, people in the halls, etc. I personally felt the images for the hotel and the rooms did not accurately depict the rooms condition. Overall the staff was very nice, clean property, great location, and enjoyed our stay.

A very nice hotel if a little worn. Centrally located with a nice beach, although most of the time swimming is not advised because of the heavy surf. You might not want to get a room facing the ocean if the pounding of the waves keeps you awake at night.

The persons at checking did not abided by the term on the reservation. We reserve a room with a king bed. They said that it was not available. I asked if it was going to be one available maybe in a couples of days. Again they said no. We ask for the second level with ocean view. Again they said that is going to cost more and with two beds again. Beds are small and i almost fall off the bed. They also said that because i when to second party for the reservation they could not help me. They said i should call them directly to made the reservation.

Beach is too steep for swimming with powerful undertow. We were kept awake until 6 am with a loud party on our floor, screaming people, slamming doors. Housekeeping staff was great. A/C was loud. Good location for restaurants, beach walks, whale watching.

Super bien, agradecida por las atenciones brindades del personal de la recepción, porque llegamos al hotel como a las 12:30pm a que nos cuidaran las maletas. Nos quedamos sorprendida porque nos asignaron la habitación. Que hermoso es cuando recibes una atención de calidad.

Tables by the pool to sit and enjoy sunsets and the freighters. This is where we will return when visiting Manzanillo next year.

I’m not fully satisfied with the location. It said it was beachfront which I assumed we could go to the beach there but it wasn’t allowed since it is beach front in an area where swimming is not allowed because it’s deep waters.

The property is larger than I thought. Check in was quick. English speaking staff were very obliging. Restaurants vary from outdoor, courtyard, formal dining room. Large swimming pool on the ocean. Pros: La vista al mar es estupenda. La playa está muy limpia. El hotel está a pie de playa. Hay muchos restaurantes, bares y una plaza comercial muy cerca. El costo por noche es accesible. La atención del personal fue muy amable. Contras: El costo de la comida del restaurante del hotel es muy caro. La playa está en mar abierto, por lo que está prohibido meterse a nadar y tienes que buscar otras alternativas. Por las noches se hace muy presente un olor desagradable que proviene de los alrededores. En general, para dormir y pasar la noche el hotel cumple muy bien. Mi recomendación sería que optes por las opciones que tienes para comer en los alrededores antes de optar por comer en el restaurante del hote ya que como ya mencioné, es muy caro.

Me encanto el lugar, es muy tranquilo y para la temporada estaba poco concurrido. Puedes disfrutar del sonido de las olas, solo que no puedes meterte. El servicio de limpieza estuvo de maravilla, siempre dejaron muy limpio y ordenado. Lo que desagrada es el servicio de meseros y el comedor, no tiene actualizado su servicio al cuarto, no tienen interés de atender esos servicios. Lo bueno es que cerca había muchos lugares para ir a desayunar, comer y cenar.
