First time at this hotel. Amazing is the word. Loved the preserved architecture of the building, yet the room was fully modernized. PERFECT location. I'lle De Saint Louis is quiet, yet steps across a bridge to everything wonderful about Paris. The room was very pretty, great bathroom, bed was super comfortable. The lobby is charming and even has a resident dog (Lemon). The lift is big enough for 2 plus luggage. Didn't get to try breakfast. Staff was super nice and professional.

Perfect to see Notre Dame. The street had wonderful shops and restaurants. We spend most of the day exploring the Left Bank. Rooms were comfortable and nice size. The first floor had glass doors to open to a courtyard.

A 17th c building built for playing indoor tennis. Modernized hotel blended with historic beams and features and modern art and architectural features. Lovely, friendly and helpful hosts. Cozy bar and atmosphere for quiet relaxation. We will definitely return!

Excellent location to stay in quiet area in St. Louis. The subway is a few blocks away, which could be an issue if you go in winter, like us. But very close to Notre Dame, the river, and good local restaurants. We got a duplex room (two story) which was good. It had a bathroom in each floor. The condition of the bathrooms was fair. The showers are small for a 6' person. The lobby is cozy and the service really good. I think the price may be a bit much for winter time and lake of hotel amenities. But overall does the job. We stayed 3 nights.

I love this hotel! The building was built in the 1600’s. The staff was wonderful, the hotel was warm and inviting, and the resident puppy was fun to play with! Who doesn’t love a puppy! The lobby was very inviting to just have a respite and view the books and the art. We didn’t have breakfast there, but the buffet looked very good. We’ll be back!

The staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The hotel is in an historic building that has its own special charm which was maintained but comfort wasn’t sacrificed. It was in a great location - we could walk easily to many of Paris’ famous locations or catch the metro to further ones, but what we loved most about the location was walking out the front door and being in a vibrant street full of restaurants and shops keeping its charm of cobbled streets, medieval buildings and quirky businesses. Being on a small island, it was a lovely stroll to the river on all sides.

Charming hotel in an amazing neighborhood, front desk staff very helpful and accommodating, rooms are Paris-typically small but have almost everything you need. A 4-star hotel should provide a hair conditioner in the room, which this hotel does not (front desk staff told me that “we usually do not provide conditioner”), but were kind enough to provide us with a conditioning shampoo. Room cleaning staff provided spotty service in that they did not always place in the room coffee packets, sugar or creamer, but being able to make coffee in the room was nice.

I was very comfortable in the room tho i had to keep the window open as it was so warm in the hotel. The bed was very comfortable and the blackout curtain helped me to get good rest, as I could have the curtain down even with the window open. The shower was fine, tho the ceiling was very low and if I were very tall i would not have been comfortable in the shower. The reception staff was very friendly and able to help with any questions or problems. Breakfast was fine and pretty well rounded with hot foods (scrambled eggs & pancakes); soft-boiled eggs; baguette and croissant; cheeses and meats; yogurts and fruit.

My family of four had a wonderful time at this hotel. The location was perfect on Ile St Louis which is a short walk to Marais in one direction and the Latin Quarter in the other. The staff were so warm and accommodating. There are so many amazing dining options nearby including a Michelin-starred restaurant (Sergeant Recruiter) across the street and Paris's best ice-cream around the corner (Berthillon). The room was spread over two floors with two bathrooms, so perfect for our family. We have found our go-to hotel when next time we're in Paris.

I really enjoyed the location. Much quieter that other locations I've stayed in on both the Left and Right banks. Some of the fixtures in the room did not work properly. The wall lights kept blinking rapidly.Turning the light on and off didn't solve it, so the lights had to be turned off.

Excellent séjour dans un lieu historique et très calme. Chambre spacieuse et bien équipée. Aucun regret d’avoir choisi cet établissement. Petit déjeuner correct, à base de produits frais, mais qui gagnerait à proposer un peu plus de variété pour sortir un peu des sentiers battus. Attention à l’insonorisation entre les chambres, pas toujours performante. Le quartier est calme, mais accueillant. Très bien desservi à moins de 10mn à pied.

This is a beautiful hotel in a lovely location. It is clean, quiet and elegant. The only thing I’d change is really minor; in room hot drinks materials are extensive but milk/cream is limited. The hotel manual states that additional items are chargeable - of course I can afford it, but it seems a bit miserable when everything else is so perfect.

Tout était parfait mais l’insonorisation de la chambre était moyenne. Nous entendions les gens parler dans les autres chambres pendant la nuit et il y avait un bruit récurrent d’écoulement d’eau toute la nuit aussi. Le service et le déjeuner était extraordinaire.
