Fitness room had no working tv, the treadmill stopped in the middle of running, no air flow in bathroom in hotel room and tv didn’t work in the room. Front desk employees were very nice.

Mira Patel was very helpful at the registration desk. When we called prior to checking in about our dog. The person from Holiday Inn said it was $75 total. When it was really $75 per day. That was VERY HIGH. Pool was out of order; elevator was out of order and exercise room was terrible with only 2 dumbells.

For the most part like any other holiday Inn, but few things that bothered me. Shower not hot & lack of water pressure. Breakfast, not good. Noise insolation sucked, windows would shake when a car with loud music would pass by. I recorded the noise and called the front desk. She gave me the impression that nothing she can do about it but thankfully did not experience that at night, just during the day. Fitness center was closed too and pool floor looked bad, didn’t look appealing to jump in at all.

The indoor pool was not open and the guy who checked us in was no help, much too talkative to an unhappy client and generally unaware and elementary. We’ll never stay here again.

The room was clean, comfortable and large. Common areas are showing signs of wear (pool scum, air conditioner dripping in fitness center). Weekend rate was somewhat high. But location, cleanliness, and amenities like breakfast and lobby coffee mean we will not hesitate to stay again.

We stayed here is 2018 and it was great. 2024 is not the same. The room was clean some noticeable structure damage probably from a leak above. The breakfast was soso. The big fail was the pool. When you get close to it you can smell it, and it didn’t smell of chlorine. The whole hallway smelled musty and moldy. Opening the door to the pool confirmed the source of the smell. The pool itself had not been cleaned either with visible dirt in the bottom. Fortunately the smell did not get into our room. We will not stay here in 2025 when we return.

Close to Virginia tech so the location is great for families wanting to visit or drop off their kids. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Rooms are not very clean.. found stains on the bedding. Good breakfast options. Service was friendly at the front desk.

Staff didn't know much about check in and our rooms weren't ready on time. We waited 20 min after the check-in time then got the room but the room and especially the bathroom was disgustingly dirty. It was not clean so we had to switch and spent another 20 min for that

The front desk staff at check in and check out was very personable and efficient. Room was very clean and up dated. Bedding was comfortable with lots of pillow options (firm, soft, etc). Bathrooms were very clean but some fixtures were a little worn. This hotel is close to shopping and many restaurants. I would stay here again if visiting the Christianburg / Blacksburg area.

After a long drive and then a family funeral, this hotel actually became a refuge from the stress. The staff was outstanding and the rooms very clean and comfortable. For being so close to a major roadway, the rooms were surprisingly quiet! Would recommend this hotel to anyone.

The room seemed clean, but a little worn. Tattered carpet at entrance to the bathroom. Also appeared that curtain rod had been removed or damaged at some point with old screw holes still visible. No patching or painting

Room needed bathroom overhaul. Sliding glass door come off hinges. Temperature control of shower when turning to hot will slip to max hot just by the weight of the handle. Bathroom ceiling peeling and discolored. Air conditioning did not turn on. People were friendly especially the front desk staff. Breakfast was good.

If you are in town for a day, its not expensive, clean and has a continental breakfast for free, there is traffic noise , walmart is right behind it and the mall is across the street and a great movie theater there is a bridge over the road as well as walking paths if you want to take a run.

Comfortable, clean, suite style room with two beds and a convertible sleeper couch. Pleasant staff. The room was reasonably priced for it's location near VA Tech and a good size for visiting with our college student. Breakfast was standard hotel food but a custom breakfast was also available to order for a reasonable price.

This hotel is a little dated and worn. Our room had some mysterious stains on walls/door. Even though the staff were friendly, somehow we were charged FOUR times for our stay! This hasn't been resolved yet, but will be calling the GM on Monday.

Bella was Great checking me in. Super friendly and welcoming. Took care of everything I needed. Also the woman who checked me out the morning of November 2nd I think her name was Evellyn. She was a joy and so pleasant. The breakfast staff were great Also.

Really happy with the service, friendly and helpful. They made VT graduation fun, with free cake and breakfast. Seriously better service was provided than at a recent stay at the Ritz Carlton hotel in Turks and Caicos.

This hotel is in a really convenient location. However the parking lot is extremely small and the Walmart next door was under construction so parking was awkward and seemed a little unsafe. The front desk staff was nice enough but they didn’t seem to care about much. They told us to park in the EV charging spots if no one was there. Seemed a bit rude if anyone with an EV car would have showed up. The smoking area was right by the front doors and the smell lingered into the lobby area. The room was clean enough. The ice machine never worked for us on our floor. Overall just an OK experience.

Only issue I had was with breakfast, we were supposed to get 3 free breakfast and only got 2. $25 for six french toast sticks and 3 pieces of bacon. Rest of stay was nice. Convenient to everything

The hotel was mostly clean but needed a bit updating. The staff was VERY helpful. The only complaint is the cost. We paid over $200 per room. At that price I would expect to get a full breakfast. It was $8.95. Luckily the reception staff gave us coupons for the breakfast.
