Love the staff at this facility. Beds comfortable. Breakfast exceptional. However the immediate area around the facility is dirty and unkept. Parking limited. Accosted on walking downtown through the area around the Opera House. I felt secure inside…staffed 24/7, but unhoused people loitering outside wasn’t okay.

Location will let you see life outside tourist filled center. Service was good, the room was no frills but not bad with decent a/c. Breakfast was not the best in Bologna but still good. One would need luck with finding street parking and be careful to plan arrival.

Extremement difficile a rejoindre en voiture et parking trés éloigné malgré les informations sur le site. Par contre assez bien situé a pied pour le centre de Bologne. Petit mais trés propre et charmant.

Unfortunately, the pictures online got us excited but upon arrival we were very disappointed! The lounge had 4 chairs and they served drinks until 9:30. The location after dark is down right scary!!!

Väldigt trevligt litet hotell nära centrum. Mycket trevlig personal, bra frukost, lite lyhört, väldigt nöjd. Dock ingen möjlighet att parkera hyrbil i närheten, vilket gäller hela centrala staden.

This was a lovely small hotel with a great staff. Alina who directed the breakfast service was awesome. And so was the breakfast spread, with a wide range of egg dishes made to order and a generous buffet as well. Our room was immaculate and comfortable. The public spaces, including the small bar, were very inviting. The property is near Piazza Verdi which is a student (and unfortunately a drug) hub, but we never felt impacted by the noise, or the few shady characters that hung out down the street from the hotel. I would definitely go back!

Detta hotell ligger i ett väldigt ruffigt område, kändes väldigt otryggt kvällstid. Finns inga ordentliga restauranger i området bara hak. Rekommenderar absolut INTE detta hotell för barnfamiljer! Hade jag vetat hur det låg och sett i recensioner att det låg i ett dåligt område hade jag aldrig bokat detta, tyvärr var rummet inte avbokningbart annars hade vi bytt hotell. Parkering på andra sidan stan, inte heller det smidigt! Själva rummen var ok rena och trevlig personal. Men bo inte här om ni vill ha en trevlig upplevelse utanför hotellet…

O hotel tem uma boa localização (um pouquinho escondido), fica perto das universidades e a locomoção é bem fácil. É um hotel pequeno mas com serviço impecável. Os funcionários extremamente atenciosos, educados e prestativos. Café da manhã excelente. Quarto de bom tamanho, organizado e limpo. Uma graça as boas vindas preparada nos quartos.

Our stay was only one night however, the hotel was very clean, and the room had all the essentials. The staff was very friendly and accommodating! We walked to some of the larger attractions nearby and enjoyed a cute brunch spot just a few minutes away!

The staff was amazing. Very helpfull and kind. The bathroom smelled (shower, sink, bidet), we let the staff know and they tried to fix it but it didn't help sadly. Also the airconditioning was very weak. The room stayed warm so sleeping was uncomfortable. Breakfast was nice. Area was unpleasant but it was close to the center which is nice. The room was also very small.

The side street the hotel is on is sketchy especially at night. It’s only one block and then a nice area but the staff here went out of their way to make our stay even better. Very welcoming, had a great list of amazing restaurants close by at all price ranges. Made sure we got back from an excursion and breakfast was amazing. The beds were pretty hard which is why the 4 stars but honestly we would stay here again. The people made the difference.

Nice hotel. Very very friendly and service-mindet staff. Only little thing: a lot of noise from the street Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening/might from young people partying at the bar close by. And again from the street sweeper early in the morning.

The hotel was lovely. Staff was amazing. Shower was a little small for my husband. Neighborhood around the corner can be a bit intimidating with people yelling and such. But overall a fabulous stay. Breakfast was lovely.

Very central and extremely comfortable. Maximo and Veronica were lovely, very friendly and helpful, as were all the ladies downstairs. A young girl delivered some chocolates and cans of water which was great, but she came around at an awkward time when we were showering prior to going out. Consequently we missed her the second night sadly. Perhaps consider a better time to call?

The room and location were just fine, but the real standout about this hotel was the staff. They were all so kind and friendly and wanted to help in every way they could. We felt really looked out for and safe when we stayed there.

As noted on many reviews, ALL of the staff we encountered were kind and friendly in a natural way well beyond the norm. A really treat of a hotel. hope to go back if i am ever in bologna again.

For my first Italy trip, I chose Albergo Rossini 1936.I am SO glad that I did! Bologna in Jan. was uncrowded, & the central area was open & easy to walk to.This boutique hotel is a gem in the city. It is very clean, the room was well-appointed, & the bed was comfortable. Hot shower, high enough for my 188cm height, perfect temp in the room even though it was cold out, a well-stocked minibar, & clean bidet. I received several handwritten notes and treats from mgmt & staff that made me feel very cared for. The breakfast included with my room was very well-prepared, with a generous number of varied choices & the service was excellent.The thing that impressed me above all else was the kindness & high level of service that I received from all of the staff, especially the front desk & the breakfast & bar. It was obvious that they were making every effort to make me feel welcome & valued. I really appreciate the interested conversations & offers for any help that I might need to accomplish my goals for the weekend. For my first Italy trip, I chose Albergo Rossini 1936.I am SO glad that I did! Bologna in Jan. was uncrowded, & the central area was open & easy to walk to.This boutique hotel is a gem in the city. It is very clean, the room was well-appointed, & the bed was comfortable. Hot shower, high enough for my 188cm height, perfect temp in the room even though it was cold out, a well-stocked minibar, & clean bidet. I received several handwritten notes and treats from mgmt & staff that made me feel very cared for. The breakfast included with my room was very well-prepared, with a generous number of varied choices & the service was excellent.The thing that impressed me above all else was the kindness & high level of service that I received from all of the staff, especially the front desk & the breakfast & bar. It was obvious that they were making every effort to make me feel welcome & valued. I really appreciate the interested conversations & offers for any help that I might need to accomplish my goals for the weekend. Detta hotell ligger i ett väldigt ruffigt område, kändes väldigt otryggt kvällstid. Finns inga ordentliga restauranger i området bara hak. Rekommenderar absolut INTE detta hotell för barnfamiljer! Hade jag vetat hur det låg och sett i recensioner att det låg i ett dåligt område hade jag aldrig bokat detta, tyvärr var rummet inte avbokningbart annars hade vi bytt hotell. Parkering på andra sidan stan, inte heller det smidigt! Själva rummen var ok rena och trevlig personal. Men bo inte här om ni vill ha en trevlig upplevelse utanför hotellet…

Breakfast was terrific, with custom made coffee drinks and a nice buffet, as well has hot dishes to order. Our only issue is the surroundings. Very noisy and youthful university area that is rocking and rolling 24 hours per day. While we never felt unsafe, the street right outside the hotel is dirty and graffiti laden, and often smelled of urine. It seems to be an area that the hotel has built in expecting a resurgence. I hope it happens because they are really good. If I return to Bologna I will stay more centrally downtown.

This was a lovely small hotel with a great staff. Alina who directed the breakfast service was awesome. And so was the breakfast spread, with a wide range of egg dishes made to order and a generous buffet as well. Our room was immaculate and comfortable. The public spaces, including the small bar, were very inviting. The property is near Piazza Verdi which is a student (and unfortunately a drug) hub, but we never felt impacted by the noise, or the few shady characters that hung out down the street from the hotel. I would definitely go back!

The next three nights were quiet and fine. Our room (106) had a very small shower which was fine for myself and husband, but I imagine people who are not as petite as us would struggle to even get into it!!! The breakfast staff couldn’t have been more helpful or charming - nothing was too much trouble! Would definitely stay here again if I was to visit the city…

The hotel is a lovely mix of modern taste and historic charm. The room was very clean, well equipped and the bed was super comfy. The air con was tip top throughout the hotel - Bologna was in a heatwave so it was appreciated.
