Mama Shelter was a great place to stay. It was clean and welcoming. The bed was very comfortable. It was more off the beaten path than previous hotels but I really enjoyed that. The atmosphere is great and the staff were very welcoming. The pool was a nice break and well organized. My only complaint was with the restaurant. I don't know what was happening but each of our meals was a bit of a mess. They tasted fantastic but the kitchen apologied for taking so long on each occasion. Our meals didn't arrive at the same time (my partner was done eating before my pizza came). The staff was very attentive and apologetic but it seemed like they didn't expect to be so busy. Overall I would recommend staying at Mama Shelter.

I really enjoyed my stay. I travelled solo and felt safe and used the facilities- pool, sauna, steam etc. The decor is fab. So close to a station and walking distance from the Vatican. Would stay again

From couples enjoying romance to whole families - they were all there having a great time! I was on my own catching up on my long list of museum collections and exhibitions to see— and of course visiting friends! Room design excellent both relaxing and catching up on some work!
