Lovely stay, near to car park and my planned events for the weekend. Do wish there was Netflix on the TV. Linen fresh and clean. Bottom of curtains do need some attention. Breakfast fresh and plentiful, really enjoyed. Have gym facilities which i was able to make use of. Thank you

It’s a lower cost hotel but is fine if you are looking for a good experience for business travel. Plenty of leisure people around too but mostly business - I was there on a Tuesday. Rooms fine, we’ll equipped, good shower. Not too much noise, bar/restaurant good if limited choice, but overall a better experience than in some.

Good parking 3 mins away. Hotel will validate your ticket. Reduced to £15 for 24 hours. Very helpful staff. Good breakfast.

Friendly staff, great gym

A hotel that does not assume I am going to steal the coat hangers - brilliant! An iron and ironing board that were both in good condition - amazing! My only suggestion is to make the menu options in the restaurant a little less deep fried or in creamy sauces, but the dish of salmon I did order was lovely.

Didn’t have breakfast so cannot comment was told to come back at 1 o’clock to check in when I arrived. I was told it would cost me £20 to check in before 2 o’clock. The car park at the hotel was £25 and the NCP car park across the street was also expensive when I did eventually get to the room. It smelt quite bad. I was offered an alternative room but by this point I unpacked and couldn’t be bothered. The dayshift staff were pointless. All the staff were polite enough but they didn’t really offer any solutions to their outrageously priced parking and unclear instructions about check in. There are many many options in Leicester. I would recommend looking elsewhere.

Very close for where we needed. Only issue was not parking. Had to use ncp at £18 per day

Centrally located in the heart of the city centre and very accessible. However it is not good for people who are driving because the hotel charges very high fees for onsite parking. Additionally, the cost of parking nearby is also high.

Hotel was fine. Decent bedrooms and shower at a reasonable price. It was very busy so getting served at the bar was a bit of a challenge. Discounted parking at the nearby NCP was helpful.

Check in was okay, we thought we booked breakfast but they didn’t offer anything to sort it. Drops of blood on bathroom floor and when told about it they says they would clean it. We went back up and they missed half of the spots so blood was still left there! They didn’t make much of an apology at all! The fire alarm went off at half 6 in the morning and we were told it was a drunk man setting it off and again no apologies at all

I stayed here one night while on a business trip. Check in was easy. I wanted to lie down as soon as I checked in but found my bed was covered in someone else's hair. Reception was able to move me rooms immediately. The next room was much cleaner. The rooms was comfortable enough and had sockets next to the bed, which is a win! But the floors had poorly fitted vinyl rather than carpets so it wasn't comfortable to walk on barefoot. The breakfast wasn't great. Not a huge selection, the hot food was sat out for hours and very dried out.

Room freezing. Called reception. No answer. Had to change room, though he told me they control the room aircon from dowstairs, so why itvwasnt on when it was minus 1 degrees i have no idea. Bathroom/ drain smell in old and new room. Not great.

Location was good both for railway station and city centre. We had a good view as our room was on 7th floor. The room was quite simple but enough. The bed was very comfortable and we liked the bathroom layout with walk- in shower and a good nonslip floor. The breakfast was good with plenty of choice and fresh hot food. Staff very friendly throughout. Unfortunately there was a horrible strong smell in the bathroom a bit like ammonia. The hairdryer didn't work and we reported it on the first day but still not resolved by the time we checked out 2 days later.

Great location, some issues with both rooms One issued was an awful smell coming from the bathroom drain identified just after we checked in and although we were offered a new room we were late for an appointment so couldn’t do that but the issue identified wasn’t looked at The other room the door you could lock from the inside and one of the windows didn’t open

Staff were helpful and friendly. Room was comfy however there was a few bugs in the room which I managed to get rid of but my biggest issue was no power was coming to the sockets

As soon as we checked in, we were told that there was a maintenance issue with the room and we had to switch to a different room. The new room was not clean at all, with hairs and bloodstains in the bed and a strong smell of sewage in the bathroom. We then switched rooms 5 more times, until we eventually found a room that was cleaned to a decent standard (all the other rooms had the same issues). This was over an hour after our initial check in. The manager then offered us a bottle of wine as compensation, neither of us drink wine so we asked for a discount instead. The manager was supposed to call later with confirmation but never did. I spoke to reception twice to ask for an update before finally having the discount confirmed. Breakfast was disappointing, even by budget hotel standards. The bacon and sausage were pale and cold, and the hash browns were burnt. There weren’t as many options as you would expect for a hotel of its size. Couldn’t find any teaspoons and glasses and mugs were less than clean. Eventually found ones that were satisfactory. Housekeeping is less than satisfactory with simple things that they should be doing like checking that the bedding doesn’t have hairs left on it or that there is shampoo/body wash in the bathrooms and that the toilets are flushed after they have cleaned it. Definitely will not stay here again.

Checkin was quick and easy and service was great. However we got to groom and found pills from a previous guest user the pull out sofa bed along with a lot of dust. The sink area was covered in a layer of dust as well. The air conditioning stopped working in the night and we had to open the window, due to the bar outside the room and the noise level we did not get any sleep at all. And the pull out sofa bed is extremely squeaky and uncomfortable, my son woke up in the morning saying his back was uncomfortable from the bed.

The bathroom smelt like rotten eggs or like something that I recently died in there receptionist were unwilling to help or change the room we left within a couple of hours and booked somewhere else.

A nice hotel in a great central location. My bathroom was mouldy, had silverfish and had a bad smell, I didn’t look at the bathroom until the morning and would have complained if I’d seen it on check-in - for the price it was not acceptable.

The bed was not much bigger than a single bed and 2 adults had to sleep in it, also air conditioning was not working but couldn’t have the window open as outside was very noisy.

Room small

The location is great but we found the car park hard to find with the one way system. Reception said next left for it but next left was no entry! The room was very contemporary but the lighting dim (no hope with make up). The beds very soft which will suit some but not others. The staff were lovely and the breakfast was fine. I'd happily use again especially if visiting the Curve like we were.

Air conditioning was inefficient and on a hot night resorted to leaving the window open for cool air, road and people noise from nearby made it difficult to get a good deep sleep. Bed and pillows were hard for my liking but this is a personal choice

Street was a little busy due to it being a Saturday and the window wouldnt shut filly so the noise was a bit annoying to sleep with. Also the room unexpectedly had a door to a connecting room and the people in that room started jiggling the door in the early hours of the morning. Gave me a heart attack.

Very noisy, with near by pubs. Sound proofing could help in such areas. Also parking for guests is an issue especially if travel with a roof box

Very disappointed that room 502 did not have a working television. It only had radio channels and no television at all.

Good option given the price. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast good quality. Cleanliness was also good. Unfortunately there is a club just across the road and it was noisy all through the night. I am not so keen on the tacky décor of this hotel chain but it was fine overall.

Laminare flooring transfers all the neighbouring rooms noise. Not helped by a particularly noisy, very inconsiderate few people in surrounding rooms.

Rooms need updating and the noise outside was so bad that we didn’t sleep. Breakfast was excellent.

Lovely customer service especially Saloni she helped me with everything booking stays gived me advice she made my week at hotel greatly without any issues.Thank you.

Our stay at the Hotel was Great friendly staff and good service. Good location.

The staff were amazing. The front desk staff were pleasant, professional and accommodating. Our breakfast hostess was especially helpful and attentive. Although we appreciated the English breakfast, we requested a special order of scrambled eggs for our family. The chef enthusiastically agreed and then served us scrambled eggs that were cooked to perfection. We are extremely grateful for the positive energy that greeted us each day during a time of loss for our family.

Out dated decor in all areas except the foyer. Bathroom fan not working which congested the room leaving it steamy. The bed mattress springs were coming through the cheap mattress topper! When reception was notified they couldn’t swap our room as they were fully booked. They gave us a thin duvet to cover the mattress which didn’t work. Pull out bed springs tired and noisy, so called family room was tiny… my son slept in the main bed with my wife, I tried to sleep on the pull out bed but couldn’t! Horrendous stay made worse by the unapologetic staff and lack of a manager! I was told that there was No manager because it was a Sunday! They agreed to refund me and said that there was no manager to do it there and then, I reluctantly left my card details as they requested this. They party goers made such a racket up and down the high street until 3am! Cars screeching around every five minutes, never again!

The staff were so friendly, helpful and welcoming. We literally spent hours in the bar and restaurant because there was no where else we'd rather be. Everyone we encountered, from kitchen staff, front desk staff, bar staff, cleaners etc were so genuinely friendly and obviously enjoyed their work. I would not hesitate to stay here again because of that reason. The room was comfortable and clean. Stand out staff made this a 5* stay.

Staff were fantastic, room was clean and comfortable beds. Breakfast buffet isn't huge but has a bit of everything and cooked breakfast bits especially were good quality! Really close to the Curve theatre (which is why we stayed) but slight downside, on a Saturday night there is a lot of noise from singing drunk people on the streets outside 😂🙈

Fantanstic hotel which is less than a 10 minute walk from the train station. Have been to leicester a few times and stayed at another hotel. This one was value for money and far outwayed my expectations. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellant - Sahil couldn't have been more helpful - the cooked breakfast on offer was very good and he even offered us poached or scrambled egg even though it wasn't on the side. There was plenty of variety for breakfast. First class in my opinion and I will definitely be staying there again and have recommended it to family and friends already.

I had a comfortable couple of nights here. The room was fine and had everything I needed. Breakfast was OK. The best thing for me was the position of the hotel: about ten minutes' easy walk from the station and - better still! - just a few yards from Leicester's wonderful Curve Theatre. The price of my stay was minimal and I would certainly stay here again when attending something at the theatre.

Visited Leicester for the darts. 15 minute walk to the arena. Good location.

Nice and comfortable. AC in room was great. Bed was comfy, shower was roomy with good pressure and hot water. Location was good.

This was a spontaneous overnight stay in Leicester and we had a marvellous time. The hotel is in a great location being close to the bus station and everywhere in the city we wanted to visit. The staff were welcoming and efficient, the room was well equipped and clean, and the bed was very comfortable. On check-out we said we'll be back and we will.

Very friendly staff and decent food. Unfortunately the downside was it was very noisy outside into the early hours. If I was guaranteed a quieter room Id stay again as it was comfortable and very conveniently located

Break fast was not good, everyday same no difference. employess were wearing wrinkly and dirty dresses .

Our room was clean, comfortable and had everything that we needed. The bar prices were reasonable and the breakfast was plentiful and very nice. The one negative was that we had a meal on Friday evening, we both had a sirloin steak, whilst mine was well cooked, juicy and tender my husband’s was at least half gristle which he couldn’t eat which was really disappointing. He pointed out the fact to the waiter who apologised and took his plate back to the kitchen. nothing more was said. We paid for the meal and on the way out the receptionist asked if we had enjoyed our meal, I said that I had but my husband’s steak was half gristle and he couldn’t eat it, to which she just smiled. Not the reaction you would expect. Apart from that we really enjoyed our stay and will certainly stay here again. Perhaps next time have Lasagne!

Check-in was excruciatingly slow. Room ok, shower could use a refurb. Breakfast had outages of food at time, had to wait for it to be replenished.

Breakfast was poor. Poor selection of fresh foods / pastries and waited 15 mins for scrambled eggs. Sausages looked terrible and most things were almost finished No alternative milk options and the team looked short staffed for 9am
