Nice, spacious room. Amazing shower. Love the 24/7 coffee for our early mornings before cafés open. Needs a long mirror for outfit checks- the only one was fixed/angled towards the wall. Unfortunately, the street is blocked off while they redo the cobblestone- obviously not the hotel’s fault. They also had to park our car in a parking garage a few blocks away and that was a bit pricy/didn’t have close access to it throughout the weekend. Great location regardless- we had dinner at two cozy, vibey restaurants literally around the corner and two doors down.

Loved the staff, the room and the ambiance. Only frustrating thing was I needed to leave for an early appointment and was told we couldn’t get car from valet parking before 8 am and I had to pay a very expensive Uber to get to my appointment in order to leave by 7:30 am

Everything was great, including the breakfast, but the road is all torn up in front of the hotel so it is difficult to bring in bags. We self parked right around the corner for $45/24 hours and had access to our car. That worked out very well.

OK the area is under serious construction, so your vehicle will be picked up by the valet a block or 2 away from the hotel, and delivered there as well. The staff are really good about accommodating everyone in spite of the mess out front.

Gorgeous repurposed stone building in the cobblestone streets of old Montreal. Fresh breakfast and 24 hr free barista. We enjoyed borrowing the 2 bicycles for easy exploration of port and islands.

Although this is an expensive hotel it is very nice. The rooms are comfortable and immaculate. The coffee in the lobby is a very nice touch. The staff are incredible. The amount of attention to details and the helpfulness was wonderful. Not once did we feel like we where an inconvenience. Thank you so much for a lovely stay Merci.

I liked staying at Le Petit Hotel. The area surrounding is lovely. That said, I was made aware by staff that rooms would only be freshened upon my request. I didn't request this at any point during my stay as I can reuse towels, etc. On day 3 I swapped my towels for fresh with the cleaning staff. My only issue with the hotel is the bathroom. The shower had a lot of black mold on the grout joints. My room at least, had no fan to remove the steam so I am sure that is the culprit. But, black mold needs to me remedied for health and safety. Otherwise, I felt this was a great hotel at a reasonable price.

Very comfortable, clean and spacious room in a great part of Old Montreal. Quiet, amazing shower, accommodating staff. We weren't around for the complementary breakfast so can't say how it was, but appreciated the complementary coffee and tea! Had a great stay and would do it again.

Location is great as many restaurants are within walking distance.Room especially bathroom is small and bathroom could have been cleaner. Breakfast setup was running late. Valet was very pleasant to deal with. Overall average at best.

The extra large room was very nice, shower is amazing and the cleaning service was excellent. It missed the mark on convenience and inaccessibility! There were at least 8 steps to get up to our extra large room. Every time we entered and left the room, we had 8 steps. For senior citizens and disabled adults this is impossible and it is not advertised in their description of the room. The dining room for breakfast had 5 steps to get to it and then if you wanted coffee, you had to go up 5 steps for the coffee. Again for someone with mobility issues, this doesn't work well. The outside road construction was super annoying and we had water turned off for 6 hours. While the hotel rooms are very nice the location is great, these things take away from its charm.

This hotel was completely the best choice in Old Montreal. The oldest hotel on the oldest street? Hooray! The rooms had exposed rock wall, looking lovely and ancient, the shower, with multiple heads, was fun. The continental breakfast was just fine, and if there were croissants left, we were free to take them all day. The included coffee, including all the fancy types, was a nice touch. A valet met our car, helped us with our luggage and then parked our vehicle. Umbrellas were at the door, in case we needed to borrow one, and the hotel was right in the middle of all the things we wanted to see. Were we to go back to Montreal, I would want to stay no place else.

Very modern interior hiding inside an old stone building in the Old Port of Montreal. Our room was large, clean and well laid out. The staff from the moment we walked in was pleasant and engaged us in conversation. The included breakfast was well laid out, with breads brought in from a local bakery. Will be back for sure.

The staff was friendly, welcoming, and very accommodating and the room was nice with its brick walls and layout. No problems there. The first major issue was the temperature inside the room (75 degrees F). We were told that the A/C was turned off for the season (say what?) and they recommended that we open our windows at night for cool air. We tried it but the noise from local partiers kept us up past midnight. had to close the window. When it got warm again, I opened it up again around 2:00 a.m. That cooled off the room until I was awakened at 4:00 a.m. by the night crew in the alley outside clanging trash bins. But it gets worse. On our last night there (Friday night), there was a raucous party going on in the building next to the hotel. Music blared until 2:30. Even with the windows closed, earplugs were no help. We were informed the next morning that it is an air BNB next door and on weekends the room is often rented out to young people who use it to host all-night parties. Also beware that St. Paul is undergoing construction directly in front of the hotel, so you have that to deal with.

I have stayed here before and enjoyed this property. Close to shopping and restaurants. I gave it a lower than usual rating for property conditions and facilities. The shower was up 3 high steps from floor level with no shower or grab bars. My companion fell very hard when coming out of shower onto the hard floor with injuries. Staff provided band-aids and asked if we needed a doctor, which we decided we did not. Other than that, no compensation was offered. This was in Rm. 102 which they should not be renting out until or unless they install grab bars and grab strips on floor. We are fortunate that this fall didn't result in a broken hip.

The staff was fantastic and the building and space was a wonderful experience! Breakfast was lovely and the location was incredible. Our only issues were the wifi didn’t reach into our loft room and the couch/bed in the relaxing area of the room wouldn’t turn into a couch on one half.

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel very much. The room was beautiful and the bed/pillows were very comfortable, so I slept well. I have to mention the shower - the water pressure was excellent and that's so appreciated! The free breakfast was delicious and the service was prompt. I am taking off one start for service though. I put the green light on outside the door so that the room would be cleaned, but it was never cleaned. We had to ask the front desk for fresh towels on our way out to dinner and when we returned we were given the towels to bring to the room. The front desk, valet (no valet when we arrived), and cleaning service could definitely stand to be more attentive. Other than that though, we truly had a wonderful stay.

We have no complaints. The room was so clean and comfortable. The hotel itself is incredibly lovely and is walking distance to a lot of venues. The continental breakfast offers a good selection, has fresh bagels and pastries, and offers you enough fuel to get the day started. Coffee, tea, and a variety of espresso drinks whenever you want to have a cup. There is a wonderful little boutique next door and there are so many options for restaurants close by. The best part of our stay was the staff. The staff are incredible — from housekeeping to the front desk. They are friendly, helpful, and professional. We plan to return to Montreal soon and we definitely plan to stay here again. We were suitably impressed.

The entire family really enjoyed our stay at Le Petit Hotel. It is in an absolutely great location, in the middle of Old Montreal, walkable to a great number of sites, restaurants and attractions. The rooms were spacious, clean, and charming. The staff was amazing. Matthieu at the front desk helped us prior to arrival, during our stay and on our last day--he made our stay extra wonderful! We can recommend this hotel to all travelers.

This is a really great hotel in the perfect location. Close to restaurants and attractions, all in walking distance. Road construction out the front doesn’t allow transport at the moment so you have to drag your luggage about a block, but that’s not the hotel‘s fault. The hotel did ring me in advance and let me know that, which was much appreciated. I’m sure it’ll be great when it’s done. If you like to sleep in this is probably not the best spot for you at the moment as construction machines started about 7:30 am. I really like this hotel and would have no hesitation of staying again. Free coffee and breakfast is a big plus.

This hotel is a hidden gem. Right now it's more hidden by street construction work, which also meant noise starting before 8 a.m. Initially we were annoyed, but the staff is so nice, concerned and helpful it didn't matter so much. Breakfast includes a variety of items -- sourdough and fruit breads; bagels; yogurts; cereals; hard boiled eggs; oatmeal; orange juice; a variety of teas and coffees from espresso to cappuccino. Our room was much larger than expected, with interesting seating in chairs as well as a small sofa. The bed is high, but comfortable. Also appreciated there were places for recyclables as well as trash. The hotel's location in Old Montreal makes it easy to walk to the Basilica, the Sailor's Church and all the wonderful restaurants and shops in Old Montreal. It's directly across from the cruise ship pier. If we return to Montreal, Le Petit Hotel Vieux will be our first choice to stay in again.

Small boutique hotel. Room was really nice as was the facility. Staff was great. One issue is construction on the road in front of the place, but they did have a valetmeet us on a side road and help to carry our luggage the block or so over. Breakfast was pretty basic, and served from 8 to 10. We came down around 9:15 and they had run out of bagels and bread to our surprise.
