Great place to stay in Tokyo, walkable distance from JR and metro lines. If youre coming from narita airport theres the Narita Skyliner that stop and Ueno station which is about a 10 minute walk to the hotel. Breakfast was nice, theres a set menu to choose from for the free breakfast. Some people might find it a bit light but i do recommend the pancakes and toast. The room is small in comparison to other hotels around the world but this was pretty standard for tokyo. They also offer extra amenities by the reception if theres anything extra you might want. They also offer Ta-Q-Bin which is the delivery service for your luggage if you want to send it to another hotel in tokyo (for it to arrive same day) or to other cities. Pretty straight forward process and theyll sort out all the paperwork for you.

Surpris par les notes et commentaires qui saluent la propreté de l’établissement, nous nous devons de partager nos constats : un personnel sympathique et agréable mais des chambres qui manquent de nettoyage (ongles dans les interstices des bureaux et consoles, mais aussi dans les coins proche des fenêtres, poussière dans les coins, rideaux tachés, mobilier taché, cheveux dans la douche, …). Loin des standards de tous les autres établissements japonais que nous avons pu parcourir lors de notre séjour. Nous avons bien sûr remonté ces soucis à l’accueil, qui a accepté de nous changer de chambre : c’était mieux (moins d’ongles…) mais toujours pas à un niveau de propreté correct. Au point que nous avons hésité à changer tout simplement d’hôtel. La literie est propre. Petit-déjeuner simple mais rapide et agréable. En bref, l’hôtel mérite un rafraîchissement, et il est nécessaire de mettre en place une procédure de nettoyage approfondi dans les chambres entre 2 séjours de clients. Dommage.

위치는 우에노역하고 많이 멀지않아 비교적 좋았어요 ~ 시장도 가까워 볼거리도 있고, 우에노동물원과 공원도 가깝고, 가볼만한 쇼핑몰도 몇군데있고, 맛집도 있어서 여러모로 괜찮은동네였어요. 신경쓰였던 청결문제.. 청소는 매일 깨끗히 해주었는데, 도착한날 바퀴벌레가 등장해서 방을 한번 교체했네요. 그거빼곤 다 만족했어요. 편의점도 나가면 바로있고. 백화점슈퍼마켓도 자주 애용했고. 무료아침 조식빵은 종류별로 맛이 다괜찮았어요. 계란국과 커피와주스도 주고. 에그마요빵이 맬 품절이니 좀 빨리내려가서 드셔

Location is fine and appreciated that they held our luggage for us and delivered to the room, but the rooms themselves needed some up keep and could have been a bit cleaner. We also couldn’t use the air conditioner even though we were there during a few unseasonably warm days.

The place is run down and has not been upgraded in years. The AC control on the wall is a dial with L-M-H settings in this day and age. The bathroom panels had mildew spots, which I had to wipe with my antibacterial wipes, as they were revolting. The bathroom had no ventilation, and the humidity was horrible. The bathroom sink and the tub share a faucet - so if someone is taking a shower, you cannot use the sink. I would not recommend it unless you are on a tight budget. We booked it because reviews said it was excellent - but I do not agree at all.

It is not a bad hotel for a short (1-2 nights) stay, especially they provide free breakfast (at the Italian Tomato Restaurant) to all guests. With that being said, the hotel is located by a freeway, and I found my room to be somewhat noisy in the middle of the night.

Le personnel est très professionnel et vraiment serviable ! Les chambres sont petites mais bien agencées. De toute façon dans Tokyo, les chambres ont l’air petites. Le petit déjeuner a le mérite d’exister mais est très succinct. La salle est petite et ne peut pas accueillir tout les convives en heure de pointe. Le quartier est vivant c’est super ! Not only did they let us leave our luggages before check-in time but by they time we got back for the actual check-in, they had already put the luggages in our room. That’s what I call excellent service! The free breakfast had actual decent coffee contrary to the often awful coffee of other hotels we tried.

I have emailed the Hoyle front desk for a room closer to elevator. Hotel replied ‘Yes’. But when I arrived they said room is not available. Ed me up I was given a room at the far end of the corridor. Disappointed.

This hotel is located in literally the best area for food. So so many food options just a few steps away and also steps away from the stations as well. Staff were nice and accommodating. The hotel had all the amenities we needed. The free breakfast is a plus.

Loved our short stay at this hotel! It is very close to Ueno station which is convenient if your are taking the train directly from Narita airport. There are a lot of restaurants and bars around the area. I would definitely book here again in the future.

Great location, Close to everything. Room was tiny (it’s Japan. We didn’t expect a bigger room anyway) but equipped with all you need. Front desk staff were very friendly. Included breakfast was okay but portion was very small. The elevator was the only thing that fell short. Expect a long wait during busy check-out times.

It seemed like a pretty old building and even though you could see how hard the housekeeping staff work it just never got clean enough to my standard. Staff are super helpful and breakfast had limited options but it was yummy. Bed was pretty comfy and we were able to get extra pillows. Washroom was super small and cramped. The hotel’s location was SUPER convenient
