This was a very good budget hotel for the money. The breakfast was tasty, and everything was very clean and well-maintained. However, be aware that Hotels.com will tell you some of the rooms can fit three people, but none of the rooms here can fit more than two people. We discovered this after booking two rooms for a family of five and ended up having to put our three teens together in one bed. But I don’t believe that is a failure on the part of the hotel rather Hotels.com. Also, the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the beds were extraordinarily firm. It was not comfortable at all, BUT the beds were very clean.

Staff was impolite and wanted to charge a kid for a pillow which is already included in the booking. No milk or yogurt for breakfast. No cleaning during 3 days stay, staffs not even picking up a piece of tissue dropped on the floor. Over 10 min walk from Ikebukuro station, passing through a lot of night clubs and bars, not safe for children.

The hotel is 3 minutes away from the ikebukuro west station. It is easy to locate with the big sign that lights up in night. The staff are sweet and nice. You can check your suitcases and items there before your actual check in time of 3PM. They provide you with a key for your items that you provide to them. The room itself was huge and had a big bed. It was super comfortable and nice. You cannot hear anyone in your room. The breakfast was really delicious with lots of different types of meals to chose from.
