Premium price, but a budget-hotel experience I paid £340 (approximately US$456) for one night, but the experience did not justify the price. I arrived at 1:00 pm and was refused check-in until 3:00 pm. As I urgently needed to change before an appointment, I was directed to a tiny lobby toilet, where my open suitcase blocked most of the floor. Yet the next morning, the hotel charged me ¥3,000 to check out at noon instead of 11:00 am. The room was only 19 m². With my suitcase open on the floor, I had to turn sideways and squeeze past it to reach the bathroom. The hotel is directly beside railway tracks, and noise from around 4:00–4:30 am disturbed my sleep. There is little commercial activity nearby, and it takes over 20 minutes on foot to reach a lively area. This may suit people seeking isolation, but not visitors wanting to experience Tokyo city life. Before my 8:00 pm flight, I asked to use the enclosed lounge for a quiet two-hour meeting and even offered to pay, but the hotel refused. The staff were polite but rigid and inflexible. The physical limitations might have been compensated by thoughtful service; unfortunately, they were not. I have stayed at many Tokyo hotels over the years. Considering the price, this was my worst experience. It felt closer to a US$100–$150 budget hotel than one charging over US$450, and I found the stay genuinely upsetting.

Nice and clean. Perfect for running if u are into that. Close to the stadium and running loops/ facilities. The rooms are a bit small. A perfect bakery in the lobby and there are a ok lunch and cafe place, 2 of them nearby. All personnel at the hotel are helpful and friendly.
