The front office is run by a very sweet married couple and they are very welcoming and friendly. They gave us a nice room and it was quite large enough comfortably for 4 people, with a fridge and a dining table. Very economical. One of the cheapest places I found even during Bikeweek, where all the hotels were charging over $350 a night, this hotel was under $200. We took our motorcycle trailer and they had a section to park our trailer in a secure area. It is very quiet even with Bikeweek going on, it is very close to Mainstreet but far enough that you don't hear the noise and craziness. Loved this hotel. Definitely will be back again.

This was literally one of the worst places I have ever stayed in and paid alot for! I do not think this unit has been cleaned in months - I had to thaw out the freezer because it was frozen shut with ice, there was food and dirt everywhere around the room, there was some kind of foreign item with body hair on it laying on the bathroom sink, the sheets were stained and thin, don't even talk about the disgusting pillows! There was tape on the blinds on the windows, the tub was stained brown, it literally was HORRIBLE. I took pictures, because I couldn't believe how dirty this place was. Walls are thin, couple next door were fighting at 2 am, I did not feel safe here. I do not leave negative reviews, but this place needs a visit by Health and Human Services!! He should NOT be charging the prices he is for this disgusting place. I still cringe thinking about how dirty it was and I had to sleep there.

The motel was ok, but my room was dirty. There was hair all over the counters and the floors were filthy dirty. Smelled like cigarette smoke. After 1 night the maid came into the room and took the bath mat and a once used towel away, and no replacement towels. The crackheads 2 rooms down drug dealing and prostituting. I wouldn't recommend if bringing small children on a family trip.

As a local I am very aware of the South Daytona area and the dangers involved when being around this part of town, I also am aware that these hotels don’t always have the most upstanding guest staying in them. However Red Carpet Inn was clean, quiet , and the lady who was working the night window was helpful quick and friendly for check in. The rate per night is excellent , especially compared to some of the other horrible hotels in the area. I didn’t have a single bug in my room, I had a nice big flat screen , my AC had a clean filter and ice cold air , the room smelled a bit like smoke but it’s a smoking friendly hotel , the bed was well made clean and comfortable and the bathroom was actually nicely decorated and modern. I hope the owners of Red Carpet Inn keep the prices low , and continue providing a clean basic simple hotel , I will be back again . Check in was simple , quick and hassle free as well.

You could clearly see that the beds were not made. There was hair in the bathtub, not clean. Cup rings on the tables. Burns all over stuff, but it's a no smoking room. Smelled like weed and smoke beds hard.Just all together, terrible

They are currently remodeling the bathrooms. They look great. Well overdue. Owners are on property all the time. Cleaning staff is friendly. It’s a good hotel for the price. Also in a better area than most on Ridgewood.

Hotel Review: Red Carpet Inn – Daytona Beach 5 stars — no hesitation. Totally worth it. The best thing about this place is the location — it’s close to everything. The beach, restaurants, and local attractions are all just a short drive (or even walk) away. On top of that, the room was clean, well-kept, and comfortable. The bed was soft, the AC worked great, and the water pressure in the shower was solid. Extremely disappointed, the room had not been swept, luckily I had a Dustbuster in the car to vacuum up dog food in a no pets allowed hotel. Which obviously nobody told the neighboring room who locked up their cat in the bathroom as he expressed his unhappiness loudly! There are no sheets on the beds just a bed spread, the towels were stained, the AC unit worked sporadically, WiFi was extremely weak. Ended up needing to stay an extra night which we told house keeping when they knocked at 9:50am by 10:15 we were being threatened by a man on staff that he was calling the police if we didn’t get out after telling him twice we were staying he told me that I had 10 min to get to the office or he’d call the cops. Later in the day we went to get fresh towels and toilet paper and was told they weren’t doing towels today or toilet paper apparently. A basic essential that every hotel keeps in supply!

Not the cleanest, and if you need more towels you’ll have to go buy your own like we did. I’ve stayed here multiple times and they NEVER want to give fresh towels! Or toilet paper !! Or bedding ! Both of the men that work there are rude and really need some customer service classes!

As a local I am very aware of the South Daytona area and the dangers involved when being around this part of town, I also am aware that these hotels don’t always have the most upstanding guest staying in them. However Red Carpet Inn was clean, quiet , and the lady who was working the night window was helpful quick and friendly for check in. The rate per night is excellent , especially compared to some of the other horrible hotels in the area. I didn’t have a single bug in my room, I had a nice big flat screen , my AC had a clean filter and ice cold air , the room smelled a bit like smoke but it’s a smoking friendly hotel , the bed was well made clean and comfortable and the bathroom was actually nicely decorated and modern. I hope the owners of Red Carpet Inn keep the prices low , and continue providing a clean basic simple hotel , I will be back again . Check in was simple , quick and hassle free as well.

I was charged double for my room. After several weeks, and many phone calls, they gave a refund for less than the amount they owed me. They are scammers. I highly recommend staying somewhere else. I stay in that area very often, but their location will never be one of my stays, again.

They are currently remodeling the bathrooms. They look great. Well overdue. Owners are on property all the time. Cleaning staff is friendly. It’s a good hotel for the price. Also in a better area than most on Ridgewood.

The front office is run by a very sweet married couple and they are very welcoming and friendly. They gave us a nice room and it was quite large enough comfortably for 4 people, with a fridge and a dining table. Very economical. One of the cheapest places I found even during Bikeweek, where all the hotels were charging over $350 a night, this hotel was under $200. We took our motorcycle trailer and they had a section to park our trailer in a secure area. It is very quiet even with Bikeweek going on, it is very close to Mainstreet but far enough that you don't hear the noise and craziness. Loved this hotel. Definitely will be back again.

The motel was ok, but my room was dirty. There was hair all over the counters and the floors were filthy dirty. Smelled like cigarette smoke. After 1 night the maid came into the room and took the bath mat and a once used towel away, and no replacement towels. The crackheads 2 rooms down drug dealing and prostituting. I wouldn't recommend if bringing small children on a family trip.

Amazing customer service from the live-in manager and his staff. Available all hours of the day and night with great recommendations for food and activities. Property is a little on the weathered side but was extremely suitable for a stay. Beds were quite comfortable even though the frame was a popping metal that made noises at every movement. Great air conditioners, nice televisions, and wonderful water pressure in the shower. Would absolutely stay here again.
