The most disturbing incident occurred on the morning of April 7th, when I was abruptly awakened by a fire alarm at 5:30 AM. In the confusion and fear, I attempted to reach the after-hours number posted on the front desk door, but no one answered despite my repeated attempts. I was left with anxiety and uncertainty, not knowing the cause of the alarm or whether it was safe to remain in the building. When I attempted to ask for help, I encountered a man claiming to be the after-hours attendant, who was dismissive of my concerns. He insisted I reenter the building without providing any clear information about the fire’s origin, which made me feel unsafe and uneasy. Additionally, upon leaving the building, I encountered several roaches in the elevator, one of which I nearly stepped on. This was both disgusting and alarming. Price was good. On check in, no lights, found the circuit breaker tripped. reset it but when turn on 1 light it tripped...Why maintenance did not fix is beyond my comprehension.

We won't stay there again. They have kitchenettes in the rooms and someone burnt food on their stove. We had a fire alarm go off at 11 p.m. and had to walk down 4 flights of steps to get out of the building. It was over in an hour but that disturbed our sleep (and most guests just stayed in their rooms). Plus there were no grab bars in the shower and the tub was too high for me to enter (I'm very short and disabled). IF they had a grab bar I could have gotten in to the shower. Instead I had to take a sponge bath (after traveling all day). And the room was DIRTY. Blood stains on the carpet. Paint all over everything. My feet were filthy just walking to the bed. Sorry, but it wasn't a good experience at all. Did I mention that the first room they gave us was occupied and we walked in on someone in that room? The desk clerk was clueless.

No elevator. You have to carry all luggage up stairs. Staff was not helpful with checking in etc. Do not buy through 3rd party. Ex: expedia It adds to headache and they do not work with you on refund etc.

I got into my room and in less than an hour the power went out and no one explained anything, the power never came and no hotel staff gave a solution I had to leave and no one at the reception to give me an answer or talk about resolving I lost my money in that situation and I couldn't even sleep in that hotel

Disgusting, dirty, smelled horrid, no staff at night. We arrived after midnight and no one was there. It took us 45 minutes to get in touch with someone to let us in. The room we were given was filled with dog urine and feces. It smelled so bad and there were puddles of pee under the bed. When we tried to get a different room we waited an hour for an employee and no one came. We slept in the car. I had to buy cleaning supplies in the morning to go into the room, clean it and then shower. The front desk staff said no refunds and they can’t do anything. I will be reporting this to the health department. It is worse than a motel 6 or truck stop motel. Unsanitary, unsafe conditions that no human being should have to stay in.

The floor in our room were dirty. There was no shower curtain, no soap, no towels. The No coffee in the room and no breakfast. The front desk was not always manned. The elevator was out of order. The floors in the halls were dirty and probably not washed in a long time. The would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

This is the dirtiest, nastiest, and smelliest hotel I've ever stayed in. This pet-friendly hotel smelled like a dog kennel, the blinds over the window were so greasy and dirty, and the dried feces on the chair (animal or human don't know) in the room made me puke. I arrived late to the hotel so changing hotels wasn't an option that night but checked out the next morning and got a room across the street and it was great.

There were roaches popping up throughout the whole stay, big ones, small ones and medium ones, they were popping up in the bathroom, stove top and walls. it was just gross, we couldnt sleep properly without overthinking there would be roaches on the bed.

As soon as you walk into the hotel, you’re greeted with a strong smell of marijuana. The door to our room was sagging so badly that it wouldn’t close without lifting it upwards. The room was filthy and stunk. The floors were sticky, the screen on the window was torn and the window sill was caked with ash residue. The worst part besides the odor was all the bugs. We had a horrible experience but hopefully the hotel staff can get it cleaned up.

Place was filthy! Pulled back comforter to find rumpled slept in sheets, dirt, hair, and stains. Smelled like smoke. Transferred to another room. Smoke smell was even more pronounced to the point of making my eyes water. Several people were transferring rooms to see if there was anything clean. It was like this place was a drug and sex hotel. So gross. Asked at desk if any room in the place didn’t smell like smoke(especially since you have to sign a waiver about being charged $250 if you smoke in room!) and she said “no they all do. I can just have my manager refund you if you want to leave”. I took her up on that option and found another local hotel which was so much better!

I had a terrible experience at WoodSpring Suites Raleigh Apex. The room was dirty — there was hair on the sheets, a broken chair, a moldy shower head, and both the shower and towels were filthy. The entire room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, so much so that I couldn’t sleep all night. I tried calling the front desk multiple times, but no one answered. This place is a complete disaster. I would not recommend it to anyone.

People were nice, except for the maintenance man who decided to take it upon himself to try and get my son to come out of the room when I wasn’t there (don’t do that). Front desk was nice. Hotel itself was dirty. Trash everywhere, overflowing outside, dog tore up someone’s trash in the hallway inside. There always seems to be a fire alarm going off. Literally everyday so be prepared to get woken up to that at 4am. Or 8.. whatever time someone feels like pulling it that day. I ended up having to leave because between the fire alarms and the loud neighbors which I complained about twice, I couldn’t sleep for anything. And to be fair, I do not complain about a whole lot. I understand hotels can be loud. But the level of loud was insane. Front desk was knocking and calling and they couldn’t hear them over the music. So it wasn’t too much the hotel itself, more the people and maintenance that made the stay unbearable.

The check in was fine except for the several people outside smoking dope at every door. There was no lobby and the hotel smelled awful. Our room was not clean (dirty qtips under the heating unit) and we had roaches crawling the walls. The people above us , very possibly long term residents were up until 300am making a ridiculous amount of noise. Very dissatisfied with the overall 10 hours we were checked in to this hotel. Will never return.

This place had odors everywhere. The front desk was empty for the first 30 minutes we were there to check in. The first non-smoking room they gave us reeked of smoke. The halls smell of old food and dirty laundry. The room could have been a lot cleaner. The internet signal is so weak it wasn't useable. The loud music in the parking lot did stop by 10:00. On a good note, the bed was comfortable and it was quiet after 10:00.

The first key I got didn’t open my room, housekeeping was really nice and got me a new key that still didn’t work. Then spoke with an assistant manager and got moved to a new room. Headed out for the day and came back at 11pm to go to my room. Swiped my key, the light was green but the door didn’t open easily. So I did it again and pushed a little harder and the latch was on the door! The door cracked open enough for me to see food bags on the counter, someone else was in my room. So I went down to the lobby and spoke with a nice employee but she advised me it would take a little while to find me an open room. About 11:45pm I was finally given a new room

I needed some help at around 10pm, I reached out to the front desk. Though there was staff at the front desk they kept mentioning they are closed and I should come back the next morning. The hotel floor (inside the room and corridor) was extremely dirty.

Booked and paid for a room Friday morning. Arrived Friday night around midnight. No front desk person to be, only a phone number to call. When that person came in, they informed me that no rooms were available, as the empty rooms had not been cleaned due to housekeeping issues. They refunded my payment, fine. I was stuck trying to find a room in the Triangle area at midnight, on a Friday night, on graduation weekend. Terrible stuff, thank you.

Checkin desk was closed when I arrived, the front desk person barely spoke to me while carrying on a phone call and there was no staff overnight to help when I realized that I did not get my ID back during checkin. Many other people tried to checkin after 10pm and there was no staff available to help, many people were frustrated and the police were called to assist numerous stranded guests.

Waited 15 minutes for someone to open up the front desk for a 1am check in arrival. Then was informed that they had no reservation for the night in my name. Then was also informed they had no available rooms for the night. Very very disappointing after driving two hours from Charlotte. Very very inconvenient for much needed rest for the next days travels. Very very unprofessional and unexpected for a guaranteed online booking from such a national online booking chain. I expect a full, unquestioned refund for such a sad and poor experience encountered as a first for this very experienced traveler. Very disappointing!!!

There’s no cleaning of your rooms, only upon checkout. There are people smoking weed in front of the entrance. The halls and into the room smells like cigarettes and animal urine. It’s in a great location but needs better control of what goes on throughout the property and a better cleaning program.

Clean rooms and we have high standards mostly time and place and all excluded of course, we all settle, but over all id say sleeping under their covers says a lot and walking bare foot from the shower to bed area to dress finishes off my point on cleaning crew employees.. staff was friendly enough, but availability was somewhat lacking only in that it's long term stays here and less of a twenty four hours hotel where night clerk mans their station all night and day. Couldn't eat breakfast but was afforded many places of all price ranges close by even some for not so long walks if your up for it. Plenty of shopping opportunities in the vicinity and the parking isn't impossible and almost always at your convenience of luggage carrying by hand distances and elevator tho only one on site did the job fair enough for the three nights spent here. Can't complain none for price and stay . Would stay again and again

The property was close to family and friends. The cleanliness however left a lot to be desireed especially the bathroom. The tub looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months, and the toilet was getting the same look. I was there for two werks and no one came in to clean or check on the supplies invluding the towels
